Shen Youlin was asleep in her brother’s mansion when she heard her phone ringing continuously.
She frowned and sohow opened her eyes to grab her phone from the bedside. She had slept very later because she had been studying for exams. This ti she wanted to pass the exam with a good score so that she could be in the sa sester as Mo Roulan soon.
Her frown deepened when she saw the person who was calling her. She really didn’t wish to attend this call but she knew that Shen Yiling would not like it so very unwillingly, she slid the screen of her phone to answer.
"Hel..."
Shen Youlin couldn’t even complete the word she was about to say because Shen Yiling soon bursted at her making her wide awake.
"What the hell are you doing? Why did you not tell that He Jian is dating Mo Roulan?"
Shen Youlin sat up on the bed imdiately as Shen Yiling’s words started to register in her mind slowly and slowly.
Not hearing the response from the other side, Shen Yiling was angrier and said
"Where the hell are you right now?"
"At brother’s place."
Shen Youlin answered in a low voice. At the sa ti, she was thinking about what Shen Yiling had just said.
Mo Roulan was dating He Jian.
That man....she couldn’t accept it. He Jian had never been liked by Shen Youlin. She could even accept sohow if Mo Roulan wanted to date Cheng Yang but He Jian...that man was not suitable for her Roulan at all.
At this mont, Shen Youlin didn’t realize how angry Shen Yiling was. It was only when she heard Shen Yiling say
"Shen Youlin...since you don’t wish to do what I am saying. You should just wait for the consequences that I have promised you for not obeying . You will surely regret fooling for so long."
Shen Youlin’s eyes widened and she had wanted to say sothing but Shen Yiling already hung up on her.
She didn’t what she should do.
Will Shen Yiling really do sothing?

The next morning, Lin Qianru woke up early and prepare breakfast. She needed to go to Chi Mansion today just as she had told Chi Rong.
When Mo Roulan ca out of her room, she was surprised to see that her mother already looked ready to leave.
Lin Qianru only asked her to have breakfast and make sure that Mo Chen eats before leaving for school and then she exited the apartnt.
Lin Qianru left early because she didn’t want to delay in preparing breakfast for Chi Rong. In the past, she had gotten used to of it as Chi Rong didn’t mind but after seeing his unusual behavior yesterday, she wanted to keep the relationship between them as professional as possible.
It took her almost more than half an hour to reach Chi Mansion. Lin Qianru maintain a calm face when she saw Chi Rong sitting in the living room.
The butler was surprised to see her but when he looked at his silent master, he didn’t say anything and greeted Lin Qianru with a smile. He led her to the kitchen and helped her in preparing the ingredients.
On the other hand in the living room, Chi Rong looked conflicted.
He was wondering exactly how he should apologize to Lin Qianru. By the ti the butler ca and inford him that the breakfast was ready, he couldn’t think of anything.
Inside the kitchen, there was only the butler.
Chi Rong frowned.
"Where is she Qianru?"
He asked the butler. Even if the butler was surprised by the way his master addressed Miss Lin, he didn’t show it. Instead, he said
"Miss Lin is inside the kitchen. She is making so preparation for the lunch."
Chi Rong frown deepened and he said lightly
"Ask her to co here."
The butler could only obey his master’s order. Lin Qianru’s frown was no less deep when she heard the butler’s words.
With a calm face, she entered the dining room and asked Chi Rong politely.
"Mr. Chi, is there sothing wrong with the food?"
Chi Rong frowned when he sensed the change in her behavior. At the sa ti, he felt helpless.
But he could only answer her question first.
"No, the food is good."
There could be nothing wrong with the food she made.
"Co, sit. Have so with ."
He said gently, however, Lin Qinaru refused him politely.
"No, Mr. Chi should have breakfast. I still have a lot of work."
Finishing her words, Lin Qianru had wanted to leave but before she could do so, Chi Rong stopped her again.
"Qianru..."
His voice was slightly helpless when he called out her na.
Lin Qianru really wanted to remind him that he should not call her like that but she couldn’t open her mouth.
"I didn’t an to say that yesterday."
Chi Rong said sincerely. When he saw that she didn’t turn around to look at him, he stood up and walked towards her. Standing in front of her, he said honestly
"I never looked down on you. I was just worried for you."
However, his words only made Lin Qianru more skeptical. Perhaps Chi Rong realized it and imdiately change the direction of his words.
"I really like the food you cook for . You know...the food you cook reminds of my mother."
Chi Rong internally sighed in relief when he saw that she was not frowning anymore and continued
"That was why I hired you. You are very precious to ."
Chi Rong himself felt that his words were sincere. In fact, he was startled by the relief he felt when he said those last few words.
Lin Qianru, however, didn’t seem to sense the deep aning in these words.
"I was just worried that you would not take care of yourself and fall ill. That would be great harm to as well."
She sohow found his words reasonable. If she was in the sa situation, then she would also do anything to keep the last rembrance of her mother. Unfortunately, that last rembrance, her mother’s diamond necklace was no longer with her.
Hence, Lin Qianru understood Chi Rong.
"Qianru, I am very sorry for my behavior yesterday. I will do anything that can make you forgive ."
He said making Lin Qianru startled as she didn’t think that her forgiveness should be that important for him.
She nodded her head awkwardly and said
"It’s okay, Mr. Chi. There is no need to do anything."
Chi Rong sighed in relief when he saw that she had forgiven him and said imdiately
"Good, then co and have breakfast with ."
Seeing that she was about to refuse him again, he said firmly
"Otherwise I would think that you didn’t forgive ."
Lin Qianru sighed and took the seat that was in front of his seat because Chi Rong himself pulled out the chair for her. Though the action made Lin Qianru feel awkward, she didn’t say anything.
They had their breakfast silently but Chi Rong would glance at her every now and then. He was, after all, a very grown-up man. Though he was feeling sothing like this for the first ti, he could feel the change in himself.
She was indeed becoming precious to him.
