He Jian’s eyes were deathly cold at Liu Ji Fan’s words. He would have perhaps hit the person who had said this if only that person was not Liu Ji Fan.
His Lanlan...he would never let her co in such a situation.
He was angry at what Liu Ji Fan said but he suppressed his anger on seeing that Liu Ji Fan’s situation was also not right. At this mont, he didn’t know what he was speaking.
Liu Ji Fan had perhaps never expected any answer from He Jian or he got his answer from He Jian’s deathly cold eyes.
With a bitter and sorrowful smile on his face, he turned his head to look at the operation theater again and whispered
"Do you know what is the worst thing is in all this?"
His voice was laced with heavy despair as he uttered these words.
"It’s because of that he is in such a situation today. It is ...Jian. It has always been who is at fault and I don’t even know how should I redeem myself...how should I ensure that he would stay with and never go away. I am going crazy day by day. Just when everything starts to get right...just when I had started to think that perhaps Tian Yuan would forget his past and co back to , this happened...if sothing happened to him today then I ...will die, Jian."
Liu Ji Fan covered his face with his hands. His shoulder shook every few seconds as he cried like a child.
He Jian slowly moved forward and put his hand around Liu Ji Fan’s neck. His hand patted Liu Ji Fan’s shoulder but he never said anything.
His eyes were however cold as he looked towards the operation theater. He understood why Liu Ji Fan was blaming himself. He also understood who was behind all this.
It was never an accident.
Soone tried to kill Tian Yuan and he knew very well who it was.
Liu Ji Fan stopped crying almost half an hour later. He Jian pulled his hand away and never said anything to him.
It had always been like this between both of them and that’s why Liu Ji Fan who had rarely expressed his emotions openly in front of anyone would not hesitate to do so in front of He Jian.
He would never feel embarrassed in front of him and He Jian would never make fun of him for being weak in front of him.
Shi Fengju and Shen Weisheng finally walked to both of them when they saw that Liu Ji Fan had stopped crying.
They sat on the sa chair as it was wide and long made for almost four to five people to sit.
Knowing the situation very well, they didn’t say anything and rely asked Liu Ji Fan if he wanted anything.
Seeing that both of them were with him, He Jian stood up and walked a few steps away. He stopped near a window and took out his phone. His fingers slid the screen and dialed a number. Soon the call connected and the person on the other side heard He Jian’s cold voice
"Alex, investigate Liu Ji Fan’s mother."
After these few words, he cut the call and calmly walked back to Liu Ji Fan.

The sun shone brightly in the sky when Mo Roulan stepped out of the elevator.
It was eight in the morning.
Mo Roulan smiled softly when she saw that Cheng Yang was already standing leaning against his car. She walked towards him and when she was near him she heard him saying
"Good morning, girlfriend."
Mo Roulan blinked and then smiled. She could feel her cheeks going warm because of the way Cheng Yang looked at her. She never knew that she could feel this way also.
A little surprised and baffled she scolded herself for behaving like so silly teenage girl when she had already lived one life and was living her second.
"Good morning."
She answered Cheng Yang without looking into his eyes. Cheng Yang didn’t mind and simply smiled as he turned around to open the door of the car for her.
Mo Roulan thanked him quietly and then sat inside the car.
Cheng Yang closed the door. Inside the car, Mo Roulan glanced at her phone. This morning, He Jian didn’t co for the breakfast at their apartnt.
It was almost half an hour ago, she got a ssage from him telling her that he won’t be able to accompany her to the office today and Chu Feng would drop her at the office.
Chu Feng was to co at eight-fifteen and Mo Roulan had already ssaged him that she would be going with her friend.
So Chu Feng should not be coming to pick her up.
"What’s wrong?’
Mo Roulan ca out of her trance when she heard Cheng Yang’s voice. She shook her head silently thinking that everything was alright and she had nothing to worry about.
Cheng Yang started the car and soon they drove out of the building’s gates.
All this while, Mo Roulan never noticed that another car had just entered the building just when she had walked out of the elevator.
A pair of blue eyes had always been fixed on her as she had smiled at Cheng Yang and then sat inside Cheng Yang’s car.
In the end, she was really really wrong.
Everything was not alright in the end.
The car drove away from there a few minutes later.
Soon another car entered the building gates. At the sa ti, the elevator doors opened and Lin Qianru stepped out.
She first looked around carefully before she finally stepped forward. The car stopped and she knew that it was Chi Rong’s car.
She hurriedly walked towards it.
When she was near the front seat door, the door opened and she saw Chi Rong signing her to sit inside.
Lin Qianru thanked him in a low voice and sat inside.
The car left the building premises soon.
