Mo Roulan ca out of her trance only when Shen Youlin shook her shoulder.
"Roulan…"
Shen Youlin looked at Mo Roulan's face with a frown while Mo Roulan looked completely confused for a mont.
"Huh?"
She asked Shen Youlin with a confused face.
Shen Youlin couldn't help but worry seeing her like this. She stretched out her hand and placed it on Mo Roulan's forehead.
"Are you alright?"
At the sa ti, Lin Qianru ca there and she was worried when she heard Shen Youlin's words.
"Roulan, are you not well?"
She also stepped forward to look at her daughter's face. Fang Zhihan had actually told her that Mo Roulan could get fever sotis because of the wound. However it would indicate that her wound was infected and it was not a good thing.
Until now, Mo Roulan had co out of her trance completely and compose herself. She held her mother's hand and said softly.
"I am alright, Mom."
Lin Qianru however still touched her daughter's forehead to check if her body's temperature was alright. She knew very well that even if Mo Roulan was unwell she won't tell her.
She was relieved when she felt that her body didn't feel hot.
"Is there any pain in leg?"
Lin Qianru asked her daughter with a worried frown on her forehead.
Mo Roulan shook her head.
"I am alright, Mom and now I should leave otherwise I will get late."
Mo Roulan said hurriedly. She knew that her mother will continue to overthink if she stayed. She might even try to stop her from going out and she didn't want to stay at house anymore.
It has been almost three days now.
Not only Mo Chen or her mother, she also needed to go out and forget that horrible incident for so ti.
Otherwise she won't be able to stay sane for a long ti.
So she kissed her worried mother's cheek and then left the apartnt dragging Shen Youlin with her.
Shen Youlin on the other hand was very happy on being dragged by Mo Roulan.
She held Mo Roulan's hand that held one of her hands firmly with a smile on her lips.
They stepped inside the elevator just like that. When they stepped out, Shen Youlin saw the car parked in front of the building and thought that it was the car that had been sent by Shen Weisheng for her.
"The driver is already there. He will first drop you to whatever company you need to go."
She said to Mo Roulan.
Mo Roulan stopped amidst her steps. Her eyes went to the car, Shen Youlin was looking at and she shook her head.
She was about to say sothing when both of them heard a cold voice from behind.
"Miss Shen perhaps misunderstood sothing. Lanlan is going to go with ."
Shen Youlin's lips were pressed in a thin line after she recognized the cold voice. She turned to look at Mo Roulan with a very determined face. She was sure that Mo Roulan would go with her.
Without even asking anything to Mo Roulan, she turned to look at He Jian and said firmly.
"No, Mr. He. It is you who misunderstood sothing. Roulan will go with , right Roulan?"
Shen Youlin had a smug look on her face.
On the other hand, Mo Roulan looked a little conflicted.
She looked at Shen Youlin and then at He Jian. After that, she looked at Shen Youlin and said
"I will go by the taxi."
Yes, it was nice. She didn't want to be stuck between both of them now.
Mo Roulan nodded her head in satisfaction and turned around to leave from there.
However, before she could leave, two shouts ca at the sa ti.
"No!"
Shen Youlin imdiately held Mo Roulan's hand firmly and started to drag her towards the car that was parked in front of the building carefully.
"You can't go by the taxi, Roulan. It is not good for your leg. And didn't we used to go together before too?"
Mo Roulan watched the car they were going towards and then at Shen Youlin. She had wanted to tell her sothing but Shen Youlin didn't let her say anything and continued to talk.
Shen Youlin was afraid that Mo Roulan would refuse again so she was not giving her any chance to say her anything.
When they were in front of the car, she opened the car's door and gently pushed Mo Roulan to sit inside the car. Mo Roulan tried to resist and said
"Youlin…"
"No! Roulan, if you consider as your best friend then you will sit inside the car right now."
Mo Roulan's mouth was parted slightly and she tried again.
"But Youlin…"
"Roulan…please."
Shen Youlin requested softly. At this mont, Shen Youlin didn't mind if she seed to be forceful. She just didn't want to let He Jian win this ti.
He couldn't stop her every ti from getting closer to Mo Roulan.
Mo Roulan was startled to see Shen Youlin's tear filled eyes and she hurriedly sat inside the car.
It was only a few monts later, Shen Youlin ca to know what kind of stupid mistake she seed to have done.
"Thanks, Miss Shen."
Shen Youlin frowned in confusion hearing He Jian's words. She turned around to look at him but He Jian had already started to walk to the other side of the car.
Until he sat inside the car, Shen Youlin was still trying to figure out what was happening.
"Hey…"
She shouted as he walked to the other side of the car.
However, He Jian had already asked the driver to lock all the windows and doors of the car.
"Drive."
He said to the driver.
"Mr. He"
Mo Roulan frowned when she saw Shen Youlin knocking the door of the car.
"What?" He Jian turned to look at Mo Roulan with an innocent face…a face that even Chu Feng had never thought that his boss could made.
Such innocent face and the words that ca out of his mouth made even Chu Feng feel pity for his boss.
"You want to go with her, Lanlan?"
And how could Mo Roulan win against that beautiful and innocent face.
She shook her head in a daze.
It was only when the car started she realized what she had just done.
