Avalonia Kingdom: The Royal Capital. Wulleamp District
----------------------------
Wulleamp District is one of the 108 districts that make up the sprawling Royal Capital of Avalonia Kingdom.
Despite being one of the smallest and least developed areas, it boasts a staggering population of around ten million people. Here, approximately 70% of residents are commoners, beggars, and orphans.
While many commoners manage to find jobs and maintain families in modest hos, countless others struggle on the streets, facing harsh realities that often lead them to theft and pickpocketing just to survive.
Interestingly enough, despite its reputation as an insignificant district overlooked by many, Wulleamp is surprisingly well-secured.
The Avalonia Kingdom prioritizes safety throughout the Royal Capital; even in this humble corner where few pay attention, there are asures in place to deter wrongdoing.
However, true protection seems reserved for the wealthy and powerful who can afford security or possess strength to fend for themselves.
The Royal Capital have 108 Districts and each of its 108 districts feels like a city unto itself, each with its own unique setting and and stories waiting to be uncovered.
In one particularly neglected corner of Wulleamp lies an expanse filled with crumbling buildings resembling a slum.
These structures huddle together like ants in a colony, twisting corners and dark alleys create a dizzying maze that can easily disorient anyone unfamiliar with the area.
The sll is overwhelming; it's a stark reminder of the lives lived within these dilapidated walls.
This is where countless holess individuals, beggars, and orphans seek shelter, a re fraction of what exists throughout both Wulleamp and the Royal Capital at large.
On these narrow streets roam emaciated figures dressed in tattered rags.
So sit against walls with blank expressions while others lie lifelessly on cold ground corners, ignored by passersby.
Malnourished children sleep soundly on unforgiving pavent; they range from toddlers to teenagers, all abandoned or left destitute by circumstance.
It's almost unfathomable that such despair exists within the shadow of Avalonia's grandeur—a city known for its beauty hides this grim reality beneath its polished surface.
Amongst this crowd sits a group of ten to twenty skinny individuals scattered about aimlessly, so leaning against walls while others lie sprawled out without care.
Yet one figure stands apart: his face shows signs of life amidst all this desolation, a spark in his eyes contrasts sharply with those around him who appear gaunt and defeated.
He exchanges glances with another nearby individual whose dirty hair obscures most features but whose lively eyes reveal familiarity between them.
"Ahem…" The dirty-faced man clears his throat before addressing his companion. "Hey brother! How have you been?"
The first man feigns surprise before grinning widely to reveal yellowed teeth. "I've been good! Sothing incredible happened just days ago!"
"Wait, what?!" The dirty-faced guy leaned in, feigning intrigue. "Did so kind gentleman just hand you a pile of cash, or did you stumble upon money lying around?"
The first guy shook his head vigorously. "Oh no, it's way weirder than that! You won't believe what happened to yesterday,it sounds too good to be true!"
"Spill it!" the dirty-faced guy urged, his curiosity piqued.
"You see," the first guy began with a dramatic flair, "I was out doing my usual begging, business has been decent lately. But yesterday? Not so much. My arch-nesis in the begging world swooped in and stole all my potential custors! Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, a kind gentleman approached and handed two copper coins." He paused for effect. "And guess what?
That's not even the strangest part!"
"What's stranger than that?" the dirty-faced guy asked, leaning closer.
As they spoke loudly enough for everyone nearby to hear, a crowd began to gather.
At first indifferent, people turned their heads when they caught wind of the ntion of those precious copper coins.
Greed flickered in their eyes before they quickly masked it; nonetheless, they were now fully tuned into this unfolding drama.
"The gentleman who gave those two coins said he wanted to recruit into his family!" The first guy continued with excitent.
"What?! No way!" The dirty-faced guy exclaid dramatically.
Gasps rippled through the crowd as onlookers exchanged shocked glances.
"Yeah," the first guy nodded earnestly. "It really happened."
"So what did you do?" asked the dirty-faced guy.
"I rejected him," ca the reply.
"Why on earth would you turn down an offer like that? You could have been part of a noble family! No more worries about food or clothing!" His eyes widened in disbelief.
The first guy sighed deeply. "You know how these wealthy families are... How could soone like , a useless and disgusting beggar, ever fit in? I can't shake this feeling that there's sothing sinister behind his offer. Wealthy families often have strange and twisted desires; I may be holess and scruffy, but I've still got my dignity!"
"You're absolutely right about that," nodded the dirty-faced guy solemnly.
The other beggars around them murmured their agreent; they understood all too well how harsh life could be at society's bottom rung.
Trust was a luxury they couldn't afford, even among friends or family, etched deep into their very souls: Never trust anyone.
"Do you know what the gentleman said?" the first guy began, his eyes sparkling with excitent. "He admired my cautious nature and reassured that it's perfectly fine not to trust strangers easily. Then he shared sothing incredible, he told he was once an orphan and a beggar, just like ! A kind man took him in and transford his life."
"Wow! So this kind gentleman was also an orphan? He was taken in by another generous soul and changed his destiny?" The dirty-faced guy's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Yes!" the first guy replied enthusiastically. "And guess what? He ntioned that he wasn't the only one."
"What do you an?" the dirty-faced guy asked, leaning in closer.
By now, a crowd of beggars had gathered around them, their pale faces lit up with curiosity as they listened intently to the unfolding story. It wasn't every day they got to hear such captivating tales.
The first guy continued, "Apparently, this kind gentleman didn't just help him; he took in many other beggars and orphans too, changing all their lives for the better. And do you know what shocked most?"
"What did he say?" the dirty-faced guy asked eagerly.
"Yeah! What did he say?" chid in another beggar, unable to contain himself.
All eyes turned toward him, making him feel suddenly nervous.
He waved his hands dismissively. "Don't mind ; just keep going!"
With a smile, the first guy pressed on. "He revealed that this gentleman is a Mana Cultivator, a Tier 9 Forbidden Realm expert!"
"Hissssss!"
The collective gasp from the crowd echoed through the air as astonishnt washed over their faces.
For many of them, it was rare to see any emotion at all after years of hardship.
"Are you sure about what you're saying?" another beggar asked skeptically.
"I swear it's true! He even took to his magnificent estate," the first guy exclaid passionately. "When I saw where he lived, I was absolutely stunned, it looked like paradise! Everything there was beautiful; it was truly the most breathtaking place I've ever seen as a dignified beggar."
"And there were all sorts of people living there, children and elderly folks alike," he added earnestly. "It seed like everything he said was genuine! Right then and there, I decided I wanted to join his family. I said he can offer any kind of work, cleaning, cooking, anything really, as long as I could be part of his household."
"What?! You an you're about to join a noble family? Bro, I'm so jealous! But please tell he didn't ask anything from you in return!" The dirty-faced guy exclaid with wide eyes.
"Nope!" The first guy shook his head vigorously. "He said I could co when I'm ready and that I'd never have to worry about food or clothing again!"
"Man, I can't believe how jealous I am of you right now," the scruffy-faced guy admitted, his eyes burning with envy.
It wasn't just him; a crowd had gathered, each face reflecting the sa mix of jealousy and resentnt as they looked at the first guy.
But could you bla them? They had all been struggling to survive on the streets, where finding sothing to eat was a daily battle.
Now, here was one of their own about to embark on a life-changing journey.
Yet, wallowing in jealousy wouldn't help anyone, life is full of ups and downs, and everyone has their mont to shine.
Just because your opportunity hasn't arrived yet doesn't an it won't; patience is key!
"So what are you doing here? Why didn't you just stay over there?" the scruffy-faced guy asked.
"Well, he gave a task," replied the first guy.
"Oh? What kind of task?" curiosity flickered in the dirty-faced man's eyes.
"Rember when I ntioned that he's an orphan and that a kind gentleman took him in?" The first guy continued.
"Yeah," the scruffy-faced man nodded eagerly.
"Well, it turns out this kind gentleman wants to take in around a thousand holess people, beggars, and orphans into his family!" The first guy dropped this bombshell like it was hot news.
"What?!" The dirty-faced guy sprang to his feet. "Dude! My dear bro! My brother from another mother please take with you!"
"Can I co too?" another beggar chid in.
"Get out of my way! Bro, take instead! I'll work hard for just enough food to fill my stomach!"
" too! I'm ready to do anything!" cried another voice from the crowd.
"I can help! I'm so tired of this life, I have strength and will work hard!" soone else shouted desperately.
"Big brother! Can you take and my siblings too? We're starving!" pleaded a small voice from behind.
In an instant, it felt like those holess individuals had been electrified as they sward around the first guy.
The atmosphere exploded into chaos as more beggars and orphans joined in, drawn by the commotion.
Within minutes, what started as a small gathering turned into a bustling crowd filled with hopeful faces, all eager for change.
