Mira glanced at Ming Tao. He did not say a word but he stayed at Hye Yang’s side like an obedient cat, getting too comforbtable with her touch.
This made Mira’s stomach twist. This man knew very well all that Hye Yang had done to Mira yet he was nestled underneath her palm like a good boy. She expected more from him, she deserved more. And it broke her to know that he did not even bother to put up a fight yet accepted the sight before him then went to the one person who it would hurt Mira the most to watch him be with. That was so cruel. Mira knew that if she was in his stead, she would not dive right into assumptions and try to get to the bottom of it first. She knew she would also not be with a man that he hated so much. Mira felt her eyes water as she saw him like this with her sister, it was daunting. Her eyes burned and despite her trying not to look, it was the only thing she could notice.
Mira tried so hard not to cry. Crying would get her nowhere. Hye Yang had formulated a plan so devious that it could leave Mira in a lot of ss and Mira needed to think of a counter plan before Hye Yang’s plan consud her.
Mira swallowed. She forced herself to hold back the tears that begged to run down her face. She was Mira Yang, the smart one, not the foolish previous owner of this body, she won the heart of the lion king and was making her way into the cheetah clan. She had been through death and a whole lot worse than this, so she will get through this like every other situation that had been tossed her way. She just knew that she needed to suffer it first.
"I will not argue with you, sister. We both know how aningless it is to entertain fools. They only think they are wiser." Mira stated. This made Hye Yang’s smile falter imdiately. Her jaw beca rigid and her teeth clawed her inner cheeks.
Why was she not reacting the way I want her to??! Why was she so calm?! Why was she behaving like nothing was happening?! I AM ABOUT TO RUIN HER LIFE!! She should act like she knows that it is about to happen!! Hye Yang raged in her head. She wanted to burst out loud but she tried so hard not to lose her temper. Mira was the one who would suffer yet it was Hye Yang who was losing her mind, she could not understand why and it irked every single bit of her.
"Enjoy your little win." Mira stated. She did not want to be here much longer or the façade she was putting on would fade. Mira took a few steps forward, she grabbed onto the fallen bath supplies on the ground and picked them up one by one, taking her ti with every item she held onto. She wanted to be painfully slow on purpose. Mira knew what kind of things would get Hye Yang to act up and seeing Mira maintain her composure when she was supposed to spiral was one of them. And once Hye Yang began to let her feelings dominate her mind, she would lose sight of sothing important in her plan that would lead to a destruction. Most tis, the destruction was blad on the old Mira but this Mira would not have any of it.
Mira stood back up then walked past Hye Yang. When she was a distance away from her sister and her husband, she paused. She did not turn to look back, she just stood there with a firm look on her face. "And do not dream. The mighty cheetah may be by your side but that does not an he is yours. He never was, and he never will be." After saying this, Mira continued walking forward. She needed so ti alone to think. And maybe it was high ti she used that favour from Shu Hua.
The mont Mira had gone, Hye Yang waited a bit more before speaking. She just stood there. Staring into thin air like a statue. She needed to be sure that her nose was not playing tricks with her by not scenting the remains of her sister’s fragrance so she just stayed still.
After a while, Hye Yang snapped out of the daze. She redirected her attention to Mu Yang, the fox was still writhing in pain on the cold ground. Hye Yang haboured a disgusted look on her face. She was repulsed by his wimpiness. "Get up. All you had was a bite to your body, stop escalating the gravity of wound." She uttered. Her distaste was obvious in her tone.
Mu Yang looked up to face her. "Correction, I had stumbled on the ground countless tis, and I secured a hit on my manhood before he arrived to leave the final blow." Mu Yang uttered. His voice was strained.
Hye Yang rolled her eyes with a sneer. "Get up. We cannot have you limping otherwise it would not validate our story." She stated. Mu Yang remained crouched on the floor. He did not pay attention to Hye Yang one bit, not when he was the one in pain. It was easy to talk when she was not on the receiving end of the brutal hits.
"You really should learn empathy. Especially when soone is doing you a favour." Mu Yang groaned. His entire body felt sore. He had not been through any form of labour or strenuous work since he was born, being the third son ant he could be overlooked from a lot of responsibilities and that was the main reason he could frolic around aimlessly.
Hye Yang did not pay heed to his words. She had gotten what she wanted and she never cared about what the repercussions would be as long as it was never on her. Plus, Mu Yang literally joined her to do this. He was in as much trouble as she would be in if this plan blew up, he also knew she was no saint like the rest of the best people thought she was so she found no need to pretend to be nice around him. "I will learn that after I win. I am so close but I am beginning to think I am not. Mira was so confident. I fear she may be way ahead of even though it seems unlikely." Hye Yang rambled. She placed a hand on her chin as she thought about the last words Mira said to her.
She needed to know if the mighty Cheetah was truly under her hypnosis for good otherwise, that would be a major set back. She had said the magic words to him the mont he snapped and gave into the hypnosis fully but it would not hurt to cross check.
"Sit Ming Tao." Hye Yang cooed. Ming Tao obeyed. He sat. Hye Yang squinted. She needed to know he was not just obeying her. "Who am I to you?"
"You are my master and my one true love." Ming Tao replied. Perfect, that was sothing she imbued into him. As long as he was under that spell, he would see anyone she hated as his enemy and right now, that person was Mira. His own wife. By the ti Hye Yang would have snapped him out of the hypnosis, he and Mira would no longer be bound to each other and she would be pregnant with the first ever true born cheetah heir.
"Who is Mira Yang to you, Ming Tao?" Hye Yang questioned, she needed him to say the words only he knew to her based on the hypnosis.
Ming Tao imdiately made a face. Even in his best form, the hate and aggressiveness was obvious. "She is the one who tried to kill you. My and your one true enemy. She was be gone." Ming Tao stated.
Hye Yang’s lips curled, she felt content at his words. She was smart with the hypnosis, she ensured that he could not put the pieces together even if he tried, and she changed the narrative good enough to make him submit to her. In his head, all the evil she did to Mira was Mira doing them to her. This man would be against the woman he loved and he would not have any mory of it.
She would hurt her sister where it would pain her the most and finally take everything that was rightfully hers. And she needed to act on it fast. She had not heard word from the people she brides to lure the lion king out of the cheetah clan to et with the ruling oracle.
Lion King Jia Hao was no fool, he would catch up in ti so she needed to hurry before he arrived back here. Otherwise it would ruin her plan.
