"Madam, we have arrived," Alfred notified as he pulled the car to a halt, right in front of the entrance.

Arwen looked out of the window and decorated theatre ca to her vision. "Thank you, Alfred. Since Aiden will be coming later, I won't be needing you tonight. So you can return first and rest," she said and understanding, Alfred nodded.

After that, she opened the door and stepped out. As she made her way inside, she took a separate door, one that was arranged for the participants. She was here for Giselle, so attending the show as an audience was never her plan.

Stepping in she could feel the rush around, and amid the chaos, she spotted the young man, who was as cheery as she rembered him. "Carl," she called out and at her voice, he at once turned to look.

"Senior Sister!" he called before he sprinted his way to her. "You are finally here here. I was waiting for you."

"Where is Alia?" she asked, and as if trying to rember, he took a while before responding.

"Oh, Alia is inside, getting ready for the stage. Let take you there." With that, she cleared the way, leading Arwen towards towards the Green Room that was allotted for Giselle people.

Pushing the door open, he said, "Alia, have you gotten ready yet? You are preparing as if you are going to march down the battlefield. Can you not exaggerate it like a first ti, for God's sake?"

Alia, who had been sitting at the dresser turned around with a frown. "Carl, you better pray that I forget all your tease by the end of the performance, or else even the heavens won't be able to save you from . I am already at the edge and your words like that aren't helping much."

Carl shrugged. "If you want to bla, bla your stupid boyfriend, not . After all, he was wrong to cheat you, not . You never gave that chance ever."

"You —"

"Alia, Senior Sister is here. Can't you see?" he interrupted her before going behind Arwen to stand and seeing him like that Arwen couldn't help but smile.

Tilting her head slightly to look at him, she said, "Carl, when you know you won't be able to fight a tiger, pinching her nose and running off won't save you for long. You better learn well before Alia kills you."

"Senior Sister, you are siding with her?" Carl asked in disbelief, and Arwen shook her head.

"Nope, I am just giving you a small lesson so that you learn and don't die early."

He paused and Arwen looked at Alia and Eira before bursting out in laughter. And it was then Carl realized what happened. He stepped aside, staring at the three won as if wronged, but neither of them paid any heed to him.

Arwen walked further inside before giving a bag to Eira. "Help her change," she said and Eira pulled out the box out of the bag before opening it to reveal the pair of pointe shoes.

Alia looked at it and was surprised. "Senior Sister, this?"

"A new pair to mark the beginning of the new journey, Alia," Arwen said before combing away the hair better on her sleek hairdo. "If you want to end it, then end it in a way that could never be recovered. And your shoes sis sothing that would be holding you back from doing it. So, I thought why not help you with it."

Saying that, Arwen glanced at Eira, gesturing for her to do what she suggested. Eira smiled and nodded before quickly getting on her knees to help Alia change.

Alia though got all tearful, but she didn't retort. Once changed, Carl stepped forward with confusion clear on his face.

"Can a change in shoes be that effective?" he asked, looking at the new pairs hugging Alia's feet. "I an I never knew a shoe could help you start a new beginning. Alia, if you needed a new pair of shoes, you should have told . Saving up, I would have gifted it to you. Why did you have to run away like that."

Eira stood up and knocked his head from behind. "n are surely dumb. And you beca a perfect example of that." Looking down at Alia's feet, she added, "Shoes don't mark the new beginning. It's the thought behind it. Alia's previous shoes were a gift from David, her ex-boyfriend. If she had continued wearing it, one or the other string would have remained attached. But now disposing of it, she would be completely let it go."

As she said, Alia pressed her lips in a smile before picking up the pair and discarding it in the bin on the side. Carl stared at it and clicked his tongue, "Tsk, tsk, I thought throwing David in that trash would have been better. But it's fine given Aila's fra, it's only good to pick that waste pairs."

"Carl!"

"Wait, what did I say wrong now? Don't tell you still care for that dumbass who is there in the next room cheering so other woman."

"You don't have to remind of that," she said. "I am already nervous."

Arwen reached out to hold her hand. "Is it why you are so nervous?" she asked and Alia nodded.

"He said she is better than and that's why he chose her. He thinks she has a better future than and —"

"Do you think the sa?" Arwen asked and Alia looked at her. "Alia, I am telling you this from experience. No one can be better than you. You best person for yourself. If soone makes you believe it otherwise then that person possibly is not the best person for you. You will find better."

"Sa as you found, Senior Sister?" Alia asked and Arwen smiled nodding.

"Yes, sa as I found."

Carl, getting all confused. "Wait. Senior Sister found soone better. When? I an isn't Mr. Foster already the best for her?"

Before anyone could say anything, Ryan's voice ca from the door. "Arwen!"
