7: Chapter 7: Just One Move 7: Chapter 7: Just One Move What it feels like to fight with the power of an artifact is beyond Violet’s knowledge.

Only when the terrifying divine power is truly manifested in front of the world, do people understand that it is an intangible and overpowering force of the gods.

The rcenaries, bought with gold and driven by it, fear nothing.

The magical aura radiating from this sixth tier skeleton might frighten mages, but it doesn’t repel these guys.

They are fanatical rcenaries and warriors.

To put it another way, even though it’s not quite an appropriate description, calling them a group of fanatical madn is not too far off.

Therefore, their reaction to the current situation can only describe them as fearlessly ignorant.

These guys are just a pack of muscle-bound simpletons.

Despite their exposure to an unknown magical power and an uncertain battle situation, they took action.

As one of them charged out of the crowd, he intended to give Violet a lesson with his brute strength.

None among the crowd knew what the magical aura on the creature ant, hence they had no idea what they were truly up against.

The gleaming armor in their eyes seed like a well-polished set, and the crimson spear in their hands resembled a shiny baton.

Since this young girl was so insensible, they decided they would give her a lesson about the strength of n.

The eyes of the crowd turned to the man who had charged forward.

A two-handed sword-wielding soldier, it was indeed unreasonable for all these n to bully a young girl.

So when he charged, no one else reacted.

They just knew it was Angrus’ nature to seek fights wherever he found opportunities.

Under the watchful eyes of his companions, the man rushed up, dragging his weapon behind.

With his characteristic battle cry, his weapon cut through the air, creating a streak of explosive vortices, and then, he directed a ferocious slash onto the Skeleton!

His attack seed imposing, capable of easily shattering this brittle bone fra even if it did have strange magic armor.

However, for the sixth tier skeleton, it possessed no fear at all.

This heavily armored skeleton had no expression, because there wasn’t anything on its entire body apart from bones.

Thanks to the magic’s assistance, the heavy armor felt extraordinarily light.

Thus, when it lifted the Crimson Spear to block the swordsman’s attack, its movents were smooth and nimble.

When the sword tip clashed, it sent sparks flying.

The strongest fighter in the rcenary team, the two-handed swordsman, was lured into his preferred fighting style.

That was a contest of raw power and endurance.

His movents were not elegant, leading to fierce and wide open clashes that emitted sparks every ti.

His fighting style didn’t exude any gracefulness.

Every technique was extrely simple and brutal, and yet it was this simple and brutal style that always led him to victory.

His downward slashes with the heavy two-handed sword, augnted by the inexhaustible strength of his burly body, allowed Violet to see the veins popping out of his muscular arms.

He clenched his teeth so tightly that it seed as if he might break them.

With trendous strength causing his entire body to tremble, he still couldn’t move the Skeleton, despite the blessings of the artifact.

So-called strength…

easily resisted.

And then, it twisted its joint bones, making a squeaky noise.

As the two-handed swordsman stared at the scene puzzled, trying to figure out what it was trying to do, a force stronger than his own was transmitted from the sword onto him.

The crowd could only see a flash of dazzling red light, and then the situation of the battle was imdiately reversed.

The skeleton, acting on Violet’s command, didn’t deliver a killing blow.

It spun the Crimson Spear in its hand simply to sever the large sword that the swordsman held.

Then, under the blessing of magic, it kicked with a speed that left no chance for the opponent to react, sending the swordsman flying.

All this happened in an instant.

Hovering in mid-air, the swordsman rcenary had a vacant look in his eyes and blood was spilling from his mouth.

He had been so taken aback by the counter-attack that he was thrown straight back into the crowd.

A large footprint was left on his battered belly, the black bruise was quickly visible, while his weapon still hung in midair.

Because he lost all the strength in his body the mont he was kicked away, he let go of the large sword.

Along the smooth scrape mark, in the exposure of sunlight, the huge sword was easily split in two as if it was a soft cake, and they fell on the ground.

The collision created a crisp tallic sound.

But for the rcenaries who were blocking the way witnessing this scene, that tallic sound was like a knock in their hearts.

The impact was so great that no one had imagined that this skeleton in front of them could have such a powerful force that it could defeat Angrus with just one blow.

And he hadn’t even managed to get close to this thing!

“How…

so strong…” The swordsman rcenary spat out a mouthful of blood then covered his mouth and held his belly where he was kicked.

His muscular body curled up like a shrimp as he convulsed.

Violet suddenly produced a small fan and, opening it to cover half of her face, chuckled, “It seems you’re not as strong as I thought.”

The leader of the rcenaries, a man ard with a battle axe, looked at his comrades with concern.

He knew Angrus’ strength, and to see him severely injured in just one round of a fight, he knew that the other side had shown rcy.

But since they had already taken the first step, he had no way to retreat.

After instructing his n to take care of Angrus, the leader, holding his own battle axe, stepped forward.

He didn’t think he was capable of defeating the magical creature exuding such a powerful aura, but despite this, he had to stand out.

If he didn’t step forward, he would lose the respect of the others, putting the entire rcenary band in an awkward position, possibly leading to their disbandnt.

Who would have thought that a toy-like magic puppet brought out by a young girl would have such great strength?

What is happening in this world?

“Interesting, under these circumstances, are you still planning to fight one-on-one?

I wouldn’t mind if you all ca at at once,”

Saying that, Violet quickly closed her fan, raised the corners of her mouth to reveal her silver fangs, and ominously said,

“After all, I’m going to flatten all of you anyway.”
