At that mont, Kevin noticed Luna under the table. Her affection was already at 100.

Kevin didn’t even have to make a move. Luna took the initiative and untied his belt.

...

Three hours later.

On the deck.

Leo and Stephanie stared at the mountain of Ocular Barnacles piled before them. Their faces went pale.

"Are we really supposed to eat this junk? Will we get poisoned if we swallow it?" Stephanie looked at the Eldritch creature in front of her, full of worry.

"How about we let Alia test it first? If she’s fine after eating it, we’ll eat it too." Leo suggested.

"Yeah, yeah! We can start a fire and grill two for Alia first. Let her see how they taste." Stephanie nodded her head fast, thinking it was a good plan.

But before she could finish her sentence...

Rumble!

Rumble!

Leo and Stephanie’s stomachs rumbled at the exact sa ti.

Before the Eldritch descent, they hadn’t eaten anything to begin with.

Now that a few hours had passed, plus all the running around and all the scare they got, they were already starving.

Just then, Alia had also gathered so Ocular Barnacles. She was sitting off to the side, staring blankly at the creepy creatures.

She seed to notice Leo and Stephanie’s gazes. She lifted her head and looked at them.

The three of them looked at each other. They all wanted to read sothing in the other’s face, wondering if eating this stuff would actually kill them.

Just as they were testing each other and hesitating, Luna walked out of the cabin.

Right now, a bit of white liquid was on the corner of her mouth, and she was holding a bottle that looked like milk, labeled "Holy Spring".

"What are you guys doing here?" The three’s eyes lit up when they saw the "Holy Spring" in Luna’s hand.

"How did you even get that? Where did you get it?" Stephanie was so jealous seeing Luna actually drinking milk that she was about to go crazy.

Luna gave the three of them a sharp look. Then she pulled a sandwich out of her pocket and took a bite. "Of course Mr. Kevin gave it to . I’m his date. You don’t get any."

Saying that, Luna glared at the three of them and turned to leave.

Rumble!

Rumble!

The three stared at Luna’s back as their stomachs growled again.

They had wanted to beg Luna to share a bit, but the mont she ntioned Kevin’s na, they dropped the idea.

There was no civilized society or rules to protect them now. The gun in Kevin’s hand was the only thing that decided if they lived or died.

They were hungry, but not so hungry that they lost their minds.

So the three of them sat back down. They stared at the Ocular Barnacles in front of them and worried all over again.

Inside the captain’s room.

Kevin walked out of the bathroom in a bathrobe. Luna happened to be coming back from the deck.

Seeing Kevin’s open bathrobe, Luna’s face flushed. She turned her head slightly. "They’re still struggling. Nobody dares to eat those Barnacles."

Kevin walked over to Luna and raised an eyebrow. "They’ll eat them. Unless they want to die."

Saying that, Kevin took the Holy Spring from Luna’s hand, took a sip, and said happily, "Tastes good. I feel like my energy is coming back."

Hearing that, Luna froze for a second.

Right after that, she felt Kevin press against her lower stomach. She got scared and quickly stepped back half a step.

But in no ti, Kevin hooked his arm around her shoulder and pulled her into his arms.

Kevin leaned close to Luna’s ear and chuckled. "I feel like your affection isn’t high enough yet. You need to keep trying."

Saying that, Kevin picked Luna up, turned around, and headed back to the bedroom.

[Affection 2]

[Affection 3]

...

Two hours later, Luna fell asleep on the bed.

On the sheets, the girl’s bloodstains hadn’t dried yet.

Kevin looked at the affection level of 180 over Luna’s head and nodded in satisfaction.

As expected, once the Covenant of the Saint was set, the covenant-bearer didn’t need to stay pure in body or heart anymore.

[covenant-bearer: Luna Cassabreya]

[Affection: 180 (Admiration)]

[Contract Rank: Bronze]

[Return Rate: 10x]

[covenant-bearer Talent: A-Tier "Holy Spring" (Produces 3 Holy Springs a day, 500ml each)]

[Talent Return: Produces 30 Holy Springs a day, 500ml each]

[Upgrade Notice: When affection breaks past 500 and hits "Worship", the contract rank will go up to "Silver", the covenant-bearer talent might upgrade, and the return rate will jump to 50x.]

Looking at Luna’s info panel, Kevin had a fresh understanding of the "Covenant of the Saint" talent.

According to the talent description, only a Survivor with a pure body or mind could sign the Covenant of the Saint with Kevin and beco a covenant-bearer.

However, to sign the Covenant of the Saint, there was one hidden condition: the target’s affection for him had to reach a certain limit.

Actually, from the mont Luna walked into the bridge, Kevin had been quietly using Covenant of the Saint, trying to make the basic binding with her.

But he tried over ten tis in a row and it still failed.

It wasn’t until Luna’s affection for Kevin hit 100 that he finally turned her into his first covenant-bearer.

Thinking of this, Kevin reached out, summoned another "Holy Spring", and drank it all at once.

In the blink of an eye, he felt strong and energetic again, with none of the tiredness or sleepiness from the fight earlier.

Kevin held up the empty bottle, looked at his reflection in the glass, and said, "I can make 30 of these a day. From now on, I won’t just worry about drinking water, I can keep my nutrition and status up with it too."

Saying this, Kevin gave a bitter smile.

Thinking back to his past life, life as a low-level Survivor wasn’t good for him.

Sotis, he couldn’t even get the at from an Ocular Barnacle. He had to tear up the wooden deck, grind it up with sand and dirt into dust, and press it into flatbread to eat.

That taste was, to put it mildly, terrible.

As for drinking water, Kevin still rembered that in his past life, their captain sohow got a urine filter.

Almost every crew mber in the early survival days could only live on the water that filter produced.

Just thinking about this made Kevin feel a lot.

This life, I’m done living a miserable life.

As for Luna, Kevin took a quick look at the girl’s figure.

Even though her mind purity was still at -100, Kevin could clearly feel that after they made the deal, Luna’s affection for him never dropped again.

Even when he ssed with her, her affection for him kept rising bit by bit.

Looks like this Luna has a slight masochistic streak.

He could just use that to slowly grind up Luna’s contract rank.

Luna’s covenant-bearer talent had no combat power, but as long as he kept developing her and leveling up the talent, her strategic value to Kevin would keep growing.

Right now, one bottle of Holy Spring already did five things for Kevin: food, water, health potions, antidotes, and curse removal.

If he leveled up Luna’s talent one more ti, she might even produce stuff even more broken than "Holy Spring".

Thinking of this, Kevin gave Luna’s butt a light slap.

Smack!

With a crisp sound, Luna shifted her hips, let out a soft moan, and stayed asleep.

[Affection 1]

Kevin watched the affection number keep climbing and his lip twitched.

Sure enough, this Luna has so weird kinks.

...

Knock knock knock.

A knock sounded at the door.

Kevin walked into the living room in his bathrobe, closing the bedroom door behind him.

"Co in."

As soon as Kevin’s voice faded, the captain’s room door slid open.

Alia barely stepped inside when she spotted the faint hickeys on Kevin’s bathrobe.

She paused for a second. "Kevin, we’re starving and running out of water on this ship, and you’re just ssing around in here?"

[Affection -10]

Kevin saw the affection number over Alia’s head drop to -20. He pouted slightly, grabbed a bottle of Coke, and lifted it.

Pop!

The tab cracked open. The crisp snap mixed with the fizz of bubbles echoed through the room.

Alia watched Kevin drain the Coke in one go and instinctively swallowed.

[Affection -10]

Seeing Alia’s affection keep dropping, Kevin frowned. "I’m just enjoying what I earned. You got a problem?"

Alia took a deep breath and cald down. "Kevin, let’s make a deal."

Saying that, she walked up to him and placed five bullets on the coffee table.
