Gu Yan’s mind was occupied completely by Mo Xiangyan when Mo Yichen was talking to Uncle Wang.
“Auntie Gu, I’ m glad you ca!” Mo Xiangyan talked cheerfully to Gu Yan and held her hands.
Looking at his little face, Gu Yan’s face was full of tenderness, and it seed that those painstaking work in these days all turned into rewards.
After a while of chatting, Gu Yan found Mo Xiangyan was a little tired. She asked,
“Xiangyan, are you hungry? I will buy you so nice to eat.”
“Wonderful!” Mo Xiangyan’s eyes seed to shine when hearing Gu Yan’s words. He nodded vigorously and said a lot of food nas he wanted to eat.
Seeing Mo Xiangyan was so delighted, Gu Yan felt so sorry, not for he wanted to eat such much food but for the white gauze on his little head when he nodded.
Gu Yan was so worried when she looked at the little head wrapped with gauze.
Seeing Gu Yan’s look, Mo Yichen, who was talking with Uncle Wang besides her, ca to soothe her imdiately.
“It’s okay, Xiangyan will be fine.”
He patted Gu Yan’s shoulder slightly.
But Gu Yan ignored him and said to Xiangyan,
“I’ll buy so food with your dad. You stay here for a while, okay?”
“Okay.” Mo Xiangyan nodded ekly, and watched them walking out the ward.
And he didn’t see the disappointnt of Mo Yichen when he patted Gu Yan but was ignored by her.
Mo Yichen’s previous behavior still hard Gu Yan.
When they just walked out the ward, they ran into the doctor who was about to co in the ward. Gu Yan paused.
She ca directly in front of the doctor and said anxiously.
“Are you Mo Xiangyan’s doctor?”
That doctor was stunned a few seconds, but hearing her words, he looked at the casebook in his hands and nodded.
“Yes, I am, what’s wrong?”
Gu Yan beca happy. She just had sothing to ask the doctor.
“Could you tell his condition? Is it serious?”
The doctor frowned. He could tell her Mo Xiangyan’ condition, because he could know from Gu Yan’s worries that she must really care about the boy inside the ward. But he still asked her out of regulations.
“Who are you? His relatives? We are not allowed to confide patients’ condition to irrelevant person.”
Gu Yan was petrified by these words. She was intended to say that she was his mother, but was that possible?
Definitely not.
“I am his father. Please tell .” detecting Gu Yan’s plight, Mo Yi Chen said.
The doctor glimpsed Mo Yichen and found that he did closely resemble the child so that he said directly.
“His head was injured, but it’s not serious. As parents, you are so irresponsible. The child is too young and his skull is not ford completely. If the damage was more acute, the aftermath would be irretrievable.”
After that, he scolded Mo Yichen that he should be more cautious about Mo Xiangyan and keep him from injuries.
“Will it leave a scar?” Gu Yan relieved after hearing doctor’s words, but out of the fear as a mother, she asked.
“Well, thanks to his good physique. As long as you focus on his diet and let him have a good rest, it will not be a problem.” the doctor thought it over and said without doubt.
On hearing this, a trace of joys appeared in Gu Yan’s eyes. She was relieved completely.
What she was worried most before was that the injure might left so sequelae on Mo Xiangyan, but now all her worries had gone. It’s great.
After saying goodbye to the doctor, Gu Yan went with Mo Yichen to buy food for Xiangyan.
She intended to do this. She, however, thought of the doctor’s advice and then stopped.
“What’s wrong?” Seeing she stopped, Mo Yichen asked curiously.
Gu Yan thought it over and conveyed her concerns to Mo Yichen.
“The take-out food is not healthy and the doctor said that Xiangyan needs more nutrition. I want to cook food for him by myself.”
Gu Yan was afraid that a scar would remain if Mo Xiangyan ate take-out food, which would drive her repentant. So, she told her worry to Mo Yichen.
Mo Yichen agreed with her and nodded.
Making the decision, Gu Yan took out her phone and dialed a number.
Gu Yan felt relaxed when she knew that Mo Xiangyan was fine. She sat at the bench in the hospital and sighed with a long relief. It’s seed that she was a little tired. Her nerve had been getting tense since she knew Mo Xiangyan was injured. At this mont, she was relaxed.
However, thinking the doctor’s advice, Gu Yan knew that she had sothing else to do. Although take-out food was convenient, it’s not sure they could suit Xiangyan’s taste.
Gu Yan glanced at Mo Yichen who was taking care of Mo Xiangyan, and walked out the hospital.
“Hello, Manla, where are you now?” Gu Yan called her best friend after walking out the hospital.
“I’m at ho, what’s up?”
“I’m coming for you. We buy vegetables together and I’m going to cook at your ho.” After the conversation, Gu Yan went to Manla’s ho by taxi, ignoring whether Manla got it or not.
Manla was still felt dizzy at that mont. “What’s wrong with Gu Yan? Crazy or sothing? Was she not busy with the studio but cooking at my ho?”
She shook her head. Though she didn’t know what was wrong with Gu Yan, she felt that she’d better wait till she ca.
After 30 minutes, the doorbell rang.
Manla knew it was Gu Yan. She opened the door and ask her in for a drink.
She didn’t expect that Gu Yan said impulsively, “Leave the drink alone, and go downstairs to buy vegetables with . I have to cook later.”
Manla never saw Gu Yan was so hurried, wondering what had happened.
“Alright, alright, wait a minute. I put on my shoes and go with you, okay?” As she was wearing her shoes, she said, “What made you so hurried? It’s not you I knew before.”
“Xiangyan bumped his head on the corner of a table and he is in hospital now. The doctor said we should be cautious with his diet so I co here.”
Manla’s also surprised at this, “How could this thing happen? Mo Xiangyan is the most beloved one in Mo’s family. Who dares to hurt him?”
