“Hello, I am from Nanyi Design Workshop. Congratulations on your being hired by our company.”
“Oh? Nanyi Design Workshop?” Gu Yan wondered when did she send a resu to this company?
“Yes, really.” The person replied.
“Well, I got it. I have sothing urgent to do now. Can I call back to you later?” At this mont, Gu Yan couldn’t rember whether she had sent a resu to this company or not.
After hanging up the phone, Gu Yan felt quite weird.
She had sent nurous resus since she resigned from Wen’s company. But she got no replies as if those resus disappeared forever.
Today, the person on the phone told her that she was hired. Why she was hired without an interview? What a strange company!
Gu Yan suddenly rembered that she had marked the companies she applied for, and quickly picked up newspapers and looked through.
Hey? The company which called her was not in newspapers she looked through. Gu Yan was afraid that she missed it and would lose the only chance, so she looked through those newspapers again. But she still couldn’t find the company. “It was very strange.” Gu Yan held newspapers in one hand and wondered, touching her chin with the other hand.
“Maybe I should ask Manla. She has worked for so many years and should know what is the matter.” Gu Yan thought.
Manla and Gu Yan t at the cafe they used to go.
This cafe was so famous that many people liked to drink coffee here.
However, Gu Yan’s taste was very unique. She didn’t like coffee here but was attracted by the smoothies.
Manla also tasted the smoothies in this cafe but she didn’t like it. She liked coffee more.
Manla invited Gu Yan to this cafe because the atmosphere here was very nice, which enabled Gu Yan to relax herself after a so-long hard ti.
“Manla, I got a call today.” A very strange call. At least, Gu Yan couldn’t understand it now.
“Uh?” Manla waited for Gu Yan’s following words.
“A person of a company called that I had already been hired.” Gu Yan said.
“Really? Has a company finally hired you?” Manla’s eyes were shining when she heard the word “hire”.
“You haven’t heard out yet.” Oops! Gu Yan thought, “I hadn’t said the key point.”
“Continue.” Manla restored her expression and let Gu Yan continue. Were there sothings special?
“I found I didn’t send a resu to this company, but they called .” Then why did they call her?
