Chapter 7: Garbage Star
In the huge and silent teoroid belt, tal wreckage from the starship drifted slowly and nurous broken shrapnel quietly crashed into a teoroid only to float silently in the other direction.
The entire star field was full of devastation and debris after the battle.
Front end of the Leviathan plunged deeply into the middle of Alliance’s main ship, almost cutting it in half. Two tal parts of Alliance’s main ship were barely connected by a weak tal structure, like a broken body connected by a thread of skin, lifelessly drifting outside the teoroid zone. Leviathan, which got stuck in it, was not much better. Exterior shell from the front end to the middle section turned black and deford due to high-intensity friction, exposing tal keel underneath. Those two warships were like two deadlocked giant steel beasts that clung to the other, quietly stagnated in the dark starry universe.
Ge Xiu stood behind the huge porthole and stared intently at the pitch-black warship that was still staying in the distance, dark ink reflected in his pitch-black eyes.
It didn’t seem to have any intention of approaching and simply has stopped silently in the distance. The heavy artillery shells that hit the Alliance warships accurately and brutally before have been retracted into the warship, but the deep and terrifying pressure has not disappeared. Just looking at this monster from a distance could scare people.
At this ti, deck below the ship opened and a light ship passed through the debris floating in the space to swiftly approach them.
The scattered crew mbers who had been forcibly brought out stopped their busy work and at the sa ti subconsciously looked at Ge Xiu who was standing by the window.

”Let them in.”
Although the outer layer of the warship has been damaged, the deck that stayed inside the ship has not suffered much damage. As Ge Xiu ordered, door of the cabin has opened slowly.
The streamlined lightship, which was as dark as its main ship, landed slowly and as the hatch opened a tall young man stepped down the landing ladder.
He wore a concise and simple black uniform with a powerful impulse weapon pinned to his waist, well-equipped with weapons and a straight back. He gave off a strong sense of righteousness.
He found Ge Xiu’s position in the crowd with extre precision and he scrutinized him, his expression still indifferent:
”Captain of this ship, please co with .”
Even when he heard the other party’s request, Ge Xiu remained unmoved, he shrugged and smiled carelessly: “Oh, okay.”
Ge Xiu walked obediently in the direction of the ship.
Xiao Yi’s heart raised to his throat instantly and he subconsciously reached out and grabbed corner of his clothes, his expression was obviously panicked and nervous, there was even an imperceptible plea in his eyes.
Ge Xiu turned his face to the side, still with laziness as if nothing mattered to him, he suddenly spoke, and asked an obvious question:
”Do you think our starship can still be driven now?”
Xiao Yi was taken aback. Turning to look at the destroyed and devastated hull of the Leviathan he shook his head hesitantly.
Ge Xiu put his hand on the back of Xiao Yi’s hand.
His thin fingers were extrely fragile, almost like lifeless bones with only a thin layer of skin stretched on them and his palms were cold and dry, but they were unexpectedly reassuring.
He smiled brightly and his small white tiger tooth shone brightly:
”That’s why I have to squander a sum of military expenses and co back to repair the ship.”
Ge Xiu did not evade the young man and did not deliberately lower his voice. Inside the cabin shrouded in deadly silence it sounded exceptionally clear.
The expression on the opponent’s face didn’t seem to have changed too much, but Xiao Yi was so terrified that he started shivering. He cast a cautious glance at the victim that was about to be blackmailed.
Ge Xiu seed to be unaware of this. He smiled and pulled the corners of his clothes out of Xiao Yi’s hands who was already panicking and then leisurely walked into the cabin along the landing ladder.
The hatch closed and the landing ladder retracted toward the ship’s body, carrying them straight to the sleeping behemoth not far away.
The dark main ship opened its hatch and swallowed the light starship.
The docking was complete.
The interior of the main ship was extrely wide and the structure was almost indistinguishable from Leviathan. There was no superfluous colour in the cabin, which was built from Alberta stainless steel, and it was filled with icy emptiness and it gave off a feeling of cold wasteland and a sharp restrained edge was hidden within.
The heavy tal hatch on the outermost layer quietly slid open in front of their eyes.
Ge Xiu paused and looked up at the top of the cabin.
The brain that perford automatic detection was shining with a blue dim light above them and threw invisible rays downwards.
”Is there anything wrong?”
The young officer stood outside the cabin, turned his head to look at Ge Xiu who suddenly stopped and asked suspiciously.
Ge Xiu was stunned. He turned his head and carefully examined the other’s expression for a few seconds. Finally, he looked away without a trace and shrugged calmly:
”It’s nothing.”
He stepped across the gap between the cabin doors and followed after the leading man.
After passing through four levels of connected doors, they finally ca to the captain’s room. The tall cabin door shimring with cold lustre seed to have been waiting for a long ti. When they stood at the door in silence it opened quickly.
The huge virtual galaxy map looked like a small universe composed of electronic particles, hanging quietly between the dark walls. Several tall n in uniforms stood in the huge captain’s room, all equipped with the most sophisticated and high-end weapon in the entire interstellar, as they waited straight by the main seat, watching the man sitting in the command position with admiration and awe, awaiting his orders.
The captain’s room was very large and there was a lot of people, but there was one you couldn’t help but notice first.
Once the first God of War, now enemy of the Alliance: Lulai Sivir.
His face was cold with high brows and sharp and deep facial features that gave people an invisible sense of oppression. Although he didn’t wear any weapons on his body the restrained killing intent still gave people an illusion of a facing a sharp blade.
He seed like the deadliest weapon in the entire interstellar.
Lulai stopped and turned to look at the person standing in the doorway.
His eyes were extrely shallow silver-blue, like clear and icy sky above a snow-capped mountain and expression in his eyes was extrely calm. It was the kind of exceptional calm that could only be obtained after stepping on mountains of corpses and experiencing sea of blood. When these eyes were locked on soone it gave a sense of fear and feeling as if their throat was choked, devouring their life.
”Crack.”
Ge Xiu blinked and untily chewed the remaining candy in his mouth. The crisp sound was very clear in the quiet captain’s room and it instantly attracted a few pairs of weird eyes.
”Hi.” He licked his faintly sweet back teeth and then showed a bright smile with eight teeth at Lulai, who has not changed his complexion at all:
”I’ve been looking forward to eting you for a long ti.”
This “hi” with a bright smile seed to make him think of sothing interesting and he gave a low chuckle, and then, under the astonished eyes of the everyone else, he stood up and walked towards Ge Xiu with two long legs. He then stretched out a pale and slender palm to the young man in front of him:
”Lulai Sivir, glad to et you.”
Ge Xiu tilted his head to examine him and also raised his hand.
A skinny hand that was thin due to hunger and malnourishnt was placed in the other’s palm, almost half the size of the opponent, cold and slender, like a weak insect with broken wings and legs that could be crushed to death by accidentally moving fingertips.
”Ge Xiu.”
Ge Xiu said his real na.
But the next second, he suddenly rembered his original na in this world, so he hesitated and added:
”Of course, you can call Xiao Qi.”
While he was speaking Lulai was also calmly examining him carefully.
The young man in front of him was wearing a federal military uniform loosely, his thin shoulders drowned in the dark blue dress, his long sleeves and trouser legs were rolled up and rumpled, and his narrow waist was wrapped in a belt. Under the clothes, he seed so fragile as if he could be broken with two fingers. He looked like a kid stealing the clothes of adults, looking extraordinarily comical.
The corners of his lips seed to have always faint, careless smile on them, deepening its brilliance and combined together it gave him an unique temperant.
The two qualities of vicissitudes and innocence, maturity and childishness, are extrely fascinatingly compatible within him.
The face of the teenager looked like in the video projection that day. His thin yellow skin was bleak with malnutrition and all his bones were visible. His face was too thin, not to ntion beauty or ugliness. A pair of eyes that were sunken in his eye sockets looked looked bigger due to his slim face, and they were extraordinarily bright. There was a certain unstable factor faintly jumping in the depths of his dark pupils, like fire in the abyss, shooting red-hot sparks outwards.
——He gave a sense of unpredictability beyond any control.
Very interesting and extrely dangerous.
It was this unbelievable young man who took over Leibert alone as a slave, set up a plan and wiped out the enemy’s nacing pursuits. He slapped the Alliance fiercely on their face and he was able to retreat without harm.
Lulai’s eyes were deep and unpredictable and he looked at Ge Xiu with an almost inquisitive look:
”You did a great job.”
He knew very well that even if he was in his place he wouldn’t be able to do better.
”It’s just good luck.” Ge Xiu shrugged: “If the generals of the alliance are such fools who underestimate the enemy, then it’s not hard to do at all.”
He blinked at Lulai, with a sly and well-behaved smile on his lips: “After all, I still have to thank you for your support, otherwise I’m afraid that my ship and crew mates would be destroyed when alliance counterattacked.”
Ge Xiu’s eyes were bent in a smile and his mouth was as sweet as honey.
But the young officer who had heard his words had a weird look on his face and hesitated to speak.
——After all, less than ten minutes ago, this little devil said wild words and wanted to blackmail them.
Loulai lowered his eyes and looked at him. His eyelashes were also pale gold, like a trace of the sunlight on a snow-capped mountain. There was not much emotional change in the bottom of his eyes:

”Surprised? Why would I be surprised?” Ge Xiu still had a casual smile on his face, but his words were sharp as a knife: “I created a chance to hit the main fleet with heavy injuries, I just had to wait and see if anyone wanted to take it.”
He tilted his head, with an innocent and childish expression on his face:
”According to the alliance’s conscription records, they obviously made a terrible enemy for themselves.”
Under his malnourished skin, sothing indescribable was hidden, so kind of almost indifferent scrutiny and cold analysation that felt inhuman.
No one dared to underestimate the juvenile from the garbage star in front of them.
”Gurulu–“
A disharmonious voice ca from his stomach, instantly breaking the stagnant atmosphere in the room.
The curve of Ge Xiu’s lips froze.
Lulai gave a low laugh and raised his hand to call in an adjutant, giving him orders to go down and prepare food.
Ge Xiu coughed a few tis and then quickly recovered from previous embarrassnt. He pursed his lips and showed a slightly shy smile:
”Actually, my crew have been hungry for a long ti…”
He blinked his dark eyes, which looked extrely big because of his thinness and had an undisguised statent written in the bottom of his eyes.
He sold a miserable image very skilfully.
Behind Ge Xiu, the young officer’s expression couldn’t help but beco even more weird.
Therefore, at the end of the conversation, in addition to the food prepared for Ge Xiu, a whole ship of supplies was sent to the Leviathan.
Ge Xiu narrowed his eyes and smiled doubly bright:
”Thank you sir!”
Satisfied, he bounced up and followed the adjutant out of the captain’s room.
Lulai stared at his back with an unmoved expression, his eyes deep, like a calm sea before the storm.

Hall: Captain you’ve been staring into space for the past ten minutes. What happened?
Lulai: *looking down on his hands* did you know. I am on the perfect height to ruffle his hair.
