Azrael took his hover car and headed straight towards the Mission Hall, which was not far from the skill library he had visited last ti.
Inside the Mission Hall, there were missions not only related to Planet Arkanis and the Stardust Galaxy but also from various other galaxies as well.
To make it easier for students to travel to their mission destinations, the Mission Hall provided rented spaceships at low prices.
While heading towards the Mission Hall, Azrael tried to sense anything related to the mission through his Infinite Comprehension trait, wondering if he would get that strange feeling again if he thought deeply about the mission.
Unfortunately, however, his trait showed no reaction, and he didn’t experience anything similar to what he had felt in Mira’s office.
Azrael shook his head when it remained silent and stopped thinking about it.
’Professor Ronald told those guys that the mission reward is three hundred credits, and all of us get one hundred credits each...’ Azrael mused silently, recalling how Elyara had ntioned she did not want to lose one hundred credits due to a mission failure while instructing them to follow her lead.
Later, when he had asked Mira about the one hundred credits Elyara had ntioned, she explained that he wouldn’t need to share the two hundred credits he would receive upon completing the mission.
Luo Bingqing and Elyara would each receive one hundred credits separately for their participation.
However, Mira also warned him not to ntion to them that he was getting two hundred credits instead of one hundred.
Azrael had also inquired why they were assigned as his teammates, and although Mira didn’t give him a clear answer, she told him it was due to the exchange program with the elves.
"Just what does making them my teammates have to do with this so-called exchange program..." Azrael muttered under his breath as a tall building ca into view in the distance.
His hover car drifted smoothly towards the building and stopped at its parking lot.
The Mission Hall building only had five floors, but its width stretched for several kiloters. To Azrael, the architectural design of the building looked rather strange.
From its wide-open entrance, he could see many people walking in and out, and from the far back of the building, he even saw so spaceships flying away from ti to ti.
Azrael took out his student ID card and, using its map, made his way toward the spaceship rental area.
When he arrived there, he spotted Luo Bingqing waiting outside, just as he had ssaged him earlier.
Not far away, Elyara was speaking with a few human girls who seed to have co to see her off. Azrael recognized them as students from the Elite Class as well, though he didn’t know a single one of their nas as despite being in the sa class, he had never paid attention to any of them.
Walking over to Luo Bingqing, Azrael asked.
"Have you rented the spaceship?"
Luo Bingqing nodded and pointed towards the back of the rental area, where the space station for the ships was located.
"Let’s go then," Azrael said with a nod and walked ahead.
Before following him, Luo Bingqing glanced toward Elyara and, after a mont’s thought, reminded her.
"We are leaving."
Elyara had already noticed Azrael when he arrived, so when she heard Luo Bingqing’s reminder, she calmly said her goodbyes to the girls before walking away to join them.
At the space station, hundreds of spaceships were parked. So were private ships, while others were public transport ships that carried people to different planets.
Among them, Azrael noticed a massive public spaceship nearly a hundred ters long, scheduled to head toward the Flato Solar System.
He could have boarded that ship to reach the Flato Solar System as well, but since it was public transport, it would stop at many places along the way to pick up more passengers. As a result, traveling with it would take nearly a whole week before finally reaching the Flato Solar System.
Going through a rented space ship was a lot faster so he did not choose the public transport ship.
Luo Bingqing led Azrael to the rental section, where their spaceship was parked, and stopped in front of a ten-ter-long, water-drop-shaped ship.
"It’s model no. E231. Although this model is quite old, we should still be able to reach the Flato Solar System in three days," Luo Bingqing explained. "Its attack and defense capabilities are also at the middle level of Legend, so there shouldn’t be any problem with our safety."
Azrael nodded at his words. As long as the ship didn’t explode or crash in space, he had no problem with it.
While Luo Bingqing was introducing the spaceship, Elyara caught up to them and her erald green eyes twitched slightly at the scratches along the fra of the ship.
"This spaceship looks quite old. It wouldn’t explode midway, right?" She asked doubtfully.
"If the spaceship had any serious problems, it wouldn’t be here. All ships go through a strict safety check before being placed in the rental area," Luo Bingqing replied calmly as he pressed a button on the side to open the door.
The interior of the spaceship was far larger than it appeared from the outside thanks to space-folding technology. Inside, there was a small living room, a separate kitchen area, four rooms each with their own bathrooms, and, most importantly, the control room.
The ship was equipped with an autopilot function and they only needed to input the coordinates, and it would fly to the Flato Solar System on its own.
Once all three of them were inside, the door of the spaceship closed automatically. Azrael and the others made their way directly to the control center at the front of the ship.
There were countless buttons, gears, and chanisms there, most of which Azrael had no idea about. Still, since none of them needed to manually fly the ship, it didn’t bother him.
Luo Bingqing entered the coordinates of the Flato Solar System and instructed the ship’s AI to alert them in case of an ergency. With that done, the spaceship slowly lifted off the ground and shot into the sky.
