I didn't stop there but teleported to it's other side and threw out another punch snapping it's head to opposite direction. I then teleported to the ceiling an crouched on it as I used my hands like jets pressing up against it while my leg muscles fully tensed up as I exerted much more pressure than jumping would normally take, then I cut off my hand jets. The world blurred as I shot down from the ceiling and slamd both outstretched fists into the top of the bears head.-

"BOOM!"

The impact created a shockwave that disturbed the entire chambers air as the bears body was violently pushed down head first into the floor. The sheer fact it's skull hadn't exploded under the force much less that the thing survived the attack was a testant to it's durability. This didn't an it was unhard though, far from it. Blood ran down it's face from it's eyes, ears and snout while a noticeable dent was now present on the top of it's head. I saw all this and decided I had done enough and chose to sit back while my friends had their fun as well.-

The bear monster recovered a bit to be able to fight back but nowhere near as vigorously as it had before. After my friends shot it up for a good hour or so the things body finally gave out and it died.

"Ti to feast!" I said excitedly as I extended my powers to the corpse.

Calling this thing an apex existence would be far from the truth as it had no weaknesses and the vast majority of it's traits were legendary grade. Besides [Bio-energy shielding] all of these traits were ones the I had an imdiately use for as well. I turned to Brick with a grin.

"How would you feel about no longer ever needing a gun again? Just your body." I asked grinning.

"Do it!" he said with a wide grin as he grabbed my hand without hesitation.

I chuckled "I still have to grab the traits first. Plus this is definitely going to get ssy so we'll need my house to keep it clean. Before that though lets check out the loot." I said pointing a thumb back at the reopened portal of the vault.

"What are the traits of this thing anyways?" Mordy asked curiously.

I spent the 1,397,181 units of lifeforce to grab all the traits and that was after calculating in the things own lifeforce. As it beca dust I answered his question casually.

"You want to give all that to Brick!?" Lil exclaid in shock.

"Just most of it. Bio-energy shielding is Ladon's though. It'll let him go about without that ridiculous looking harness on him at all tis holding his shield." I said honestly.

"Blood needs sothing like that too. My girl pulls at her own harness when she thinks she can get away with it." Mordy said thoughtfully.

I shrugged "If we run into anything that has the trait i'll grab it for her. No telling when or even if we will though." I said frankly.

After that we headed into the vault itself that was not much different than the last two I had been in with a single path of carved tal and stone adorned with orange glowing swirling humanoid statues. At the end of the path sat a much larger statue with hands outstretched holding a small glowing purple bead no bigger than a cherry.-

"You've got to be shitting !" I said with an eager gasp as I rushed forward to grab the thing.

"Sothing good?" Roland asked with a raised eyebrow.

"For yeah for almost anyone else not really. This lady and gentlen is an unformatted Eridian engrammatic cognition matrix! An A.I core to put it in layman's terms." I said grandly holding it up.

"Still lost us." Lil said with a confused look they all shared.

"Ah shit how to dumb down such a complicated topic? Okay so like if you were to create an exact copy of your brains neurostructural layout but digitally that would be for all intents and purposes an exact copy of your mind. Following so far?" I asked and they collectively nodded.-

"Right so that copy would be what is known as an engram. Fucking useless in most cases without a body but basically a person on a USB stick. What this little beauty does is allow soone to take a selection of engrams and mix and match them to create a brand new engram with desirable traits from those used in the process, a super A.I mind simply put." I explained as simply as I could.

"That sounds like it would revolutionize the A.I market! Why wouldn't that be useful to anyone but you?" Roland said astonished.

"Because in order to even use this fucking thing you need an Eridian interface device. The Eridian version of a super computer. Fun fact, only I know how to make that damned thing. Hence useless to everyone else." I said with a grin.

"Well that's not very fair! What's the point of putting a reward in a vault if you can't even use the thing without sothing from a different vault!?" Brick raged and kicked a statue that was just minding it's own business.

"To be fair I'm pretty certain these "rewards" are actually supposed to be like exhibits from a museum rather than things ant to be used. The real reward is actually the chests back there that spawn guns from sowhere relatively nearby in the universe when opened. It's a one ti deal though so you get what you get." I said with a shrug.

"You don't get a share of that since you get the thing the rest of us can't even use." Roland said and I shrugged.

"Fair is fair, won't hear complain." I said before turning the matrix over in my palm.

I won't lie and say I hadn't wanted one of these things for ages now but was helpless about it since to make it I required so sort of unknown tal alloy that only the most valuable of Eridian tech used instead of standard Eridian tal. Without the Eridians knowledge on their materials I could only repurpose the stuff I collected without ever making more materials. This made what supply I had extrely limited and very precious as well. -

The alloy that made up this matrix however was one I flat out didn't have so I couldn't ever make the thing even though I wanted to. As Roland said this thing could revolutionize the A.I market. Current A.I's had lots of flaws to them even if to a degree they could pass for actual people. The biggest limitation was that no A.I was ever truly unique unless it was built from the ground up piece by piece.-

All others from these select few were copies of a base A.I that grew from it's experiences but would always cling to that base programming in the end. It was why the robots with them would learn from an experience but if the way around that mistake clashed with their base program always fall into the mistake yet again. The best example is the Cl4p-trp steward bots that individually sound different enough but if placed next to each other overlap more often than not.
