Kel and Aura finally had their match, and things between them got a little heated. Figuratively and literally. While neither of them had been killed, as this was impossible, they did quite so damage to each other. Enough that Blu, Sophia’s right hand, decided it was enough and ended their fight.

“I’ve heard you actually invited Kel to your domain?" A couple of days after that, Mira t up with Sophia. Fey was also with her, and so were Chloe and Steph. "How did it go?"

“That’s certainly a question.” The blonde awkwardly scratched her cheek.

“He’s amazing!” Steph was a big fan of the dragon.

“You certainly weren’t kidding when you said it would be interesting.” Sophia glanced at the overseer. “I do like him a lot, though. Kel’s an interesting one. I love the way he loves magic. Very knowledgeable, as well. Might be a tad too violent, though. I punched him across my domain already. He and Fen tried to kill each other in a friendly match. Aura went feral together with him, and those two really went to town.”

“Sounds like the dragon I know.” The teal fox nodded. “I knew he’d get along splendidly with the wolves. Especially with our cute dragon hunter.” She let out a small chuckle.

"A little too well, maybe. The three are quite rowdy and keep triggering my domain protection. I now have a broken dragon horn hanging above my fireplace that Aura ripped off of Kel, and the wolf in question is still missing most of her fur coat. It’s so short from having been burnt down that it’s all prickly now! My precious fluffy wolf!”

“I see the issue.” Mira lightly rolled her eyes.

“Though, the horn is pretty stylish.” The tiger wasn’t that upset about the trophy part.

“Next ti I’m free, I think I’ll visit him again.” The overseer’s expression turned mischievous. “It’s been too long.”

“I don’t want to find out if my domain rules can withstand another overseer just yet, okay?” Sophia had a bad feeling about it.

“Don’t worry, I just want to give him a quick hello~.”

“I suddenly worry a lot!” It had the opposite effect on her. “This sohow is also giving the urge to apologize to Maya and Ari for so reason…” She didn’t like being on the side of the voice of reason.

“Alright, should we get going?” Steph, the actual voice of reason, tried to get the topic back on track.

“First, I’d like a refresher on why I should et your parents?” Fey lightly tilted her head while looking at the dog-girl.

“Feyfey!” Chloe started pouting as she glared at her mother. “You know it’s important! I want you to et my girlfriend's parents, and Steph wants the sa. On top of that, the two want to give their parents more information on this world they live in!”

“Our parents were a little disappointed that Maya’s parents had only praise for Sophia and not a single bad thing to say," Steph smirked at the red fox. "I'm sure they'd appreciate it if you were to voice so complaints about to them."

“And just like that, I suddenly am looking forward to this.” Fey was starting to sound excited about the plan.

“Well, I know how you work, after all~.”

“I hate you.” The red fox did not appreciate Steph’s smug reply.

“See? You already have sothing to tell them about.” She was in an excellent mood.

“…”

“I’m looking forward to it~.” Mira happily clapped her hands. “After all, I’m a fan of the sisters, so I’d like to thank them for raising them the way they are.”

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

“More of this!” Chloe stared at Fey while pointing at her other mother.

“Nuh-uh.” She simply shook her head in return.

“Personally, I rather like the feisty Fey.” Sophia smiled at the red fox.

“And that’s why you’re my favorite sister.” She returned the smile.

“Hey!” Steph wasn’t a fan of the teasing reversal.

“I know how you work, too~.” Fey smirked at the dog-girl.

“…” She had no rebuttal for that.

After the two bonded in their unique way, Sophia and Steph went to get their parents so everyone could et each other in the blonde’s cottage.

“Woah!” The mont Lydia and Pete saw the foxes for the first ti, their eyes grew wide. The two have quite the presence, after all. The two foxes were both wearing their black outfits and went full official by adding all the ornants to them. Fey also went with her long, smooth hair, as this was the most elegant option in her eyes.

“Wahh~!” Even Sari, who naturally had been borrowed by Sophia and was currently resting in her arms, was in love with the fluffiness in front of her. There was definitely no questioning that she was the little sister of the fluff-lovers as she stretched out her little arms in an attempt to reach for their tails.

“Hehe.” Mira let out a small chuckle before gently smiling at Lydia and Pete. “My na is Mira; I am the mother of Chloe, whom you've already t a few tis, from what I heard. It’s a pleasure to et you. I’ve only heard good things from your daughters.”

“I am Feyanis, but everyone just calls Fey.” The red fox followed after the overseer. “I am Chloe’s other mother. I’m delighted that you value her so much, from what I’ve been told.”

“The resemblance is striking!” Pete could easily see the familiar lineage in the foxes. “My na’s Pete, and I'm the father of Steph and Sari over there being held by my stepdaughter, Sophia. It’s a pleasure to et you, too.”

“The step part is in na only.” The tiger smiled at him before glancing at the foxes.

“You are one fluffy family!” Lydia had to voice the first thing that crossed her mind. “Ah, I’m Lydia, the mother of those three lovely girls.” She gestured at the trio. “Thank you very much for always taking care of my older ones.”

“I figured as much~.” Mira chuckled again. “The fascination for fluff sure seems to run in the family.”

“Sure does!” Steph and Sophia energetically nodded a couple of tis.

“Ahaha…” Lydia scratched her cheek. "Okay, but I have to ask, why do you have so many tails, and how do they work?" She was fascinated by the overseer’s backside.

“Definitely Sophia’s and Steph’s mother.” The overseer was fascinated by their resemblance to each other. “Let’s just say I’m a bit of a special case in a number of ways.” She got a little cryptic for a mont. “For how they work; with great struggle. They have a bit of a mind of their own at tis, so I just let them do whatever they want. Except for when I have to go through doors or other tight spaces, it works decently well enough.”

“I see…?” It seed like the woman had quite a few questions after hearing that, but she wasn’t sure if asking would be a good idea. “Okay, much more important question! How and why are you two so young?!” Lydia stared up and down at the two foxes. “Rather than mothers, it would make much more sense if you were Chloe’s sisters!” She looked a tiny bit envious.

“That’s the beauty of magic.” The overseer smiled at her. “If enough of it enriches your body, it will either slow down or completely halt the detrintal effects of aging once your body has fully matured.” She then gestured at Sophia, Steph, and Chloe. “In their cases, the girls will continue to look like this for however long they want until they feel like getting an image change. Naturally, their bodies won’t change or age.” Afterward, Mira glanced at the red fox beside her. “It’s slightly different for Fey and , though. Our bodies have been matured from the beginning, as we have multiple forms.”

“Okay…?” Lydia got rather confused by the second part. “So, Sophia and Steph really told the truth when they ntioned how they stopped aging because of magic.”

“I said that we haven’t told you a single lie on the matter of the world we now live in!” The tiger just slowly shook her head. “The healing capabilities of magic and all the other things were true, too!”

"You can agree that believing it is a bit of a challenge, right?" She looked back at her striped daughter. "It's not that I think you're lying; it's just not compatible with pretty much everything we knew so far.”

“Fair enough.” Sophia couldn’t actually bla her.

“Speaking of unbelievable,” Pete’s eyes wandered between Mira and Fey for a little while before he eventually looked at Chloe. “I know that having two mothers is perfectly fine and normal, but two biological mothers? It’s obvious that you both are because Chloe clearly has features from both of you on top of being confird by you two as well as our daughters, but it sure is, well… uhh…”

“Magical?” Steph started laughing while facing her father.

“Well, yeah, though, I’m not sure how I feel about that actually being a viable answer.” He scratched his cheek in return.

“Magic truly is wonderful.” The overseer showed her family a beaming smile.

“Wow.” Pete needed to let that sink in first.

Once the most important questions had been answered, the group got ready to talk about the actual reason everyone got together. Mira telling them more about magic, and getting Lydia and Pete prepared for a visit to the regular new world of their daughters, that is.
