Sophia told Kel more about her domain and how magic behaves a little differently there, as it's not bound by Mira's rule. Naturally, the magic-loving dragon took quite a liking to that and ended up agreeing to help the tiger grow her domain by creating his own bios to beco stronger himself in the process.
“By the way, how do you even create a bio?" After Sophia had finished explaining her domain, Kel beca curious about a rather significant thing. “I already agreed, so it’s happening, but how exactly does one do that? I an, I could create a sea with water magic, but that’s not really the play, is it?”
“Have you ever used raw magic to grow a massive tree or forest?”
“I played around with that before, yes. It’s quite fascinating how big plants can get with magic.”
“Creating bios here in my domain works on the sa principle.” The blonde nodded once. “If you flood an area that has a few plants with raw magic and want it to spread rather than grow tall, it will convert itself into soil to support the plant growth. You can scale that phenonon however big or far you want it. Depending on what plants you use, the environnt to support them will change, too.” She tried to co up with an example while saying so. “Like, if you have so cacti, you’ll grow a desert. Kapok trees would turn into a jungle or rainforest. Pines create a coniferous forest and so on and so forth.”
“Oh, this might actually turn out to be fun.” The dragon’s voice had a hint of excitent in it.
“It’s suuuper fun!” Sophia energetically nodded. “Also, this cherry blossom forest started out in life from a few dozen trees in a patch of maybe 100 or 200 ters in radius. Right now, it's a few hundred kiloters in size."
“That’s quite sothing.” He looked around while lightly moving his head up and down. “Still, it’s hard to believe that Mira’s limitations aren’t in effect here.”
“Well, I have to agree that my domain has so limits, as well.” The tiger scratched her cheek. “Like, I’m not going to allow you to completely trash this place, so any magic that would destroy like half the domain or more wouldn’t activate. I think that’s fair if you ask .”
“That’s definitely acceptable.” He didn’t have anything against such a thing.
“My domain also has a few more rules.” Sophia turned a little more serious. “First and foremost, I don’t allow any malice towards other inhabitants in here. I excluded you from that rule earlier, but if you try to attack anyone with magic with ill intent, it won't activate. Even more so, if you try to use physical force, magic will actively stop you.” She glanced at Blu, who had relocated to her shoulder, and the bird energetically nodded in response. “You’ll be instantly kicked out of the domain, too. That doesn’t an fights or matches to test your strength aren’t okay. Pranks are fine and encouraged, too. Everything that won’t inflict any lasting damage physically and ntally is alright. It’s just pure malice that will get you the boot. And you will see angry." The feeling around the tiger suddenly changed.
“…” Kel didn’t like her expression. “Well, it’s kind of cute of a rule, but I can respect that. I enjoy challenging people or being challenged by them, but attacking soone just for the sake of it isn’t my style in the first place. Unless soone else starts it, of course, then they’ll regret being born.”
“That’s acceptable.” Even though it wasn’t a concern in her domain, Sophia wasn’t going to deny any form of self-defense. “The second thing is more of a defense chanism and less of a rule. You can’t accidentally kill or seriously hurt yourself with magic inside of my domain. The magic you’re trying to use won’t activate. The emphasis lies on accidentally. You can’t blow yourself up if you ss up when playing around. However, you can blow yourself up if that’s your goal for whatever reason.”
“You’re in the running of becoming my favorite overseer.” The dragon didn’t dislike the way her domain was set up. “You’re still green behind your ears, but I like the direction you’re headed. Mostly because I can go a lot wilder with magic under your supervision.” That last sentence was said in a much lower voice than the rest.

“…” Sophia had so very mixed feelings about everything she had just heard.
“Is there anything I have to take into consideration when it cos to the size of things?”
“The bigger, the better!” Sophia was glad the topic changed. “My current goal is to get as many bios and covered surface as possible in my domain. For now, you can start in the area where we t earlier. It already had the portal to your lake, and aside from my test forest, there's nothing around for thousands of kiloters.”
“That might be enough for a small start, yes.” Kel agreed with her suggestion.
“I love the enthusiasm!” She reacted with an enthusiastic thumbs-up. “That being said, do you already have sothing in mind? As I ntioned before, you need so plants or the like to get started on a bio I may be able to provide you with.”
“I’d like to create a sea, or maybe sothing bigger. I'm originally from the ocean, and the desert lake was more of a holiday retreat. It was a thousand-sothing-years-long one, but a holiday retreat, nonetheless. For that, I mostly need water at the start. Well, that and so salt, but that’s not important for until later.”
“We’re actually about to head to the ocean in the regular world, so I could help you with so stuff that normally goes in there, like underwater plants and fish.” Sophia smiled at him. “Until then, feel free to accommodate yourself and try to get a feel for how magic works in here by working with raw environntal magic a lot~."
“I’ll try my best to push the boundaries of this place!” Kel was motivated for all the wrong reasons already.
“You’ll get along splendidly with Steph…” The tiger let out a small sigh. “Do not try to get around my not harming anyone rule, okay? If I won’t do it, Blu will utterly ss you up when you try.” As she said so, the parakeet on her shoulder first saluted with its wing before using it to point at the dragon.
“I never would’ve imagined being afraid of a bird.” He started to doubt his position in life.
“Good.” Sophia also stared right at him.
“Haha.” He let out a nervous chuckle. “Also, I haven’t t anyone else in the first place, so that would be impossible for various reasons, and only one of them being not wanting to be beaten to a pulp by a parakeet so small my eyes can barely make it out.”
“I think I’ll bring along Fenny the next ti~.” The blonde had a feeling that the wolf would get along great with the dragon in front of her. “Should we head back to the place where you can start your domain?”
“I don’t see why not.”
----------------
Back in the area where the portal to the desert oasis was, Sophia filled the small lake with water again after she punched it away earlier so that Kel had a place to relax for the ti being.
“By the way, what kind of food do you eat?” Sophia scratched her cheek while looking at Kel’s massive body. “I’m not sure if my domain can sustain you yet in that regard.”
“In the ocean, I mainly hunted whales and giant squids.” He gave her a nonchalant reply.
“That could be a challenge…” She had no idea how to satisfy that type of diet.
“As you might rember, you found in a sweet water lake with only regular fish.” The dragon stared at her for a mont. “Ever since I did the ore infusion to myself, I don’t seem to have the need to rely on regular food anymore. I t Mira shortly after I noticed that I had stopped being hungry, and she explained that my modifications caused my body to start relying on magic for sustenance.”
“Wow!” The tiger had no idea what else to say at first. “I like eating too much for that, but that’s amazing!”
“It’s quite handy, so I have nothing to complain about.” He didn’t seem the slightest bit bothered. “Also, I still can eat, I just don’t have to.”
“Ohh! Well, never mind then!” She changed her view on it. “Still nothing for , but sounds even more amazing now.”
“What do I do about this all-white space, by the way?” Kel changed the topic and raised his body higher in the air to get a good overview of everything. “I want to make a deep ocean, and it doesn’t seem like it’s sothing you can dig through. Do I have to create so walls around the area I want to turn into water and need to go up, or how does it work?”
“The white is more of a placeholder.” Sophia tried to co up with an explanation for how it works. “Once you start working on your bio, it will adjust and change shape to whatever you’re doing. The little lake also replaced the flat white nothingness on the floor when I made it.”
“This sure is a mysterious place.”
“You’re not wrong.” The blonde could only agree with him. “Anyway, I need to run a quick errand and will be back shortly. Feel free to get accustod or head back to the desert if you need more ti.”
“Sure, go ahead. I’ll try out so things in the anti!" He had nothing against being left alone.
Doing just that, the tiger then stepped through a portal to do whatever errand she had in mind. Before doing that, she asked Blu to stay behind and watch the big guy, though.
