Chapter 315: Chapter 161: Past Events_2
He personally witnessed Ronan defeating “Rampage” Lola, who had reached the Late Level 1 Stage upon her initial promotion to Level 1, and had concluded that Ronan might one day reach the heights of the Hoddam Academy’s Headmaster.
But he didn’t expect that day to co so fast. How long had it been since that battle, and Ronan had already been promoted to Second-level.
And not just an ordinary Second-level Wizard, all those invited to watch this duel were renowned individuals among the various Wizard Forces, not just anyone could qualify.
“Let’s talk about sothing else…”
Ronan changed the subject, thinking for a mont before asking, “How’s the Academy doing now?”
“It no longer exists.”
Jero shook his head, “But Wizard Land still exists. Several Official Level wizards, including Goya, returned to Hoddam after things settled down. They reconstructed a small force on the ruins, managing the order of the entire Wizard Land sowhat like before…”
“Goya…”
Ronan murmured the na, recalling that she was the blue-robed Female wizard who had fled with Jero when the Crimson Tower invaded.
“…Actually, the Headmaster’s plan for us was to take Lola to the Thorny Palace, for the Headmaster herself had separated from there.
During her battle with a Level 3 wizard of the Crimson Tower, she gave up everything, leaving it all for Lola’s resurrection…
We could have been living well, relying on the Headmaster’s legacy…”
Jero continued, “Lola, who inherited the Unscathed Wood, was highly regarded by the Thorny Palace, even being designated as a Genius to be intensively trained. Both Goya and I once considered switching to Plant magic…
But later, Lola’s secret assassination of a Crimson Tower wizard mber was exposed, and the Thorny Palace paid a hefty price to save her.
Lola was punished, imprisoned, and at so point, Goya and I heard the news of her killing soone and defecting…”
“After this incident erupted, it was natural that we no longer had the face to stay in the Thorny Palace, so we left.
Goya returned to Hoddam, and I joined the lt Crystal Lake relying on so inheritance contact from the [Molten Lava Fire Ring]…”
Throughout the entire recount, Jero’s expression was very calm, as if he was talking about sothing that had nothing to do with him.
Ronan listened to the entire follow-up, pursed his lips, not knowing how to comnt.
“Mad Dog” Lola’s actions were still so unpredictable, yet seed reasonable, entirely characteristic of her paranoid, insane, selfish, and indifferent nature.
Such a person really didn’t deserve any sympathy; her existence would only bring endless trouble and disaster to those beside her, letting her self-destruct was perhaps the best way to handle it…
Ronan fell silent for a while, then took out a Waist Storage Bag and handed it to Jero.
“I still have to thank Lord Jero for the map from before…”
Jero looked into Ronan’s eyes, feeling a calm and profound depth that forbade any refusal.
He nodded silently, accepting the Waist Storage Bag.
Ronan said nothing more, simply greeted, and turned to leave.
Jero, however, stood there for a long while, watching Ronan’s departing figure, his face filled with complexity, wondering about sothing.
Until a commanding and deep voice interrupted Jero from his reflection, “You, co with .”
Jero looked in the direction of the voice, only seeing a magnificent robe embellished with orange-gold patterns and the imnse spiritual power as fierce as a lake of molten lava.
His heart leapt, quickly responding, ekly following in the direction indicated.
On the way, Jero couldn’t suppress the unease in his heart and couldn’t help asking, “Sir, may I ask what this is about?”
The leading Second-level Wizard from lt Crystal Lake paused in his step, slowly turning around, his expression as cold as ice as he looked at him.
“What is it?”
“Ronan Damien, the most promising new generation genius wizard from the Silver Magic Ring, is also the opponent we are about to face in this duel…
Having a secret contact with him just before the duel is about to begin, and you still ask why?!”
Hearing the response, Jero stood frozen on the spot, a “buzzing” sound in his head persisting.
He originally thought he had imagined Ronan to be impressive enough, but he had not expected…
What kind of frightening heights had Ronan now reached?
…
Ronan saw Jero being taken away by a wizard from the lt Crystal Lake, his eyes flashed slightly, but he didn’t pay it too much mind.
It should have been just a routine interrogation and search; the resources he placed inside Jero’s Waist Storage Bag were quite valuable to a Level 1 Wizard, but useless for him, which wouldn’t cause any trouble for Jero.
Withdrawing his gaze, Ronan walked towards the “quarters” of the Silver Magic Ring.
At this ti, representatives from various power factions had almost all arrived, occupying their respective areas at six different locations, clearly divided and gathered together.
On the side of the Silver Magic Ring, Ronan saw Caroni, who led the team to the second battlefield last ti as well as the Third Magic Ring master. Besides him, there was another person who seed to be at the Ring Lord Level, a powerful Level 3 Wizard sitting right next to Caroni.
Kosti did not co.
Caroni noticed Ronan from afar and waved at him.
Ronan walked towards there, and on the way, he noticed the “center of attention,” Orian.
This young genius of the Magic Ring with the title of “Four-Colored tal” was as confident and proud as the last ti Ronan saw him.
Orian, whose golden hair shone like sunlight under the nightfall, sat quietly in the most central position right beneath the two Ring Lord Level individuals, his eyes constantly looking in one direction.
Ronan turned and glanced…hmm, as expected, it was indeed Jupiter, whom he regarded as his greatest rival.
Perhaps feeling Ronan’s observing gaze, Orian turned his head towards him.
Ronan paused his steps montarily, locking eyes with Orian across the distance.
Unexpectedly, Orian nodded slightly at him, then withdrew his gaze.
Ronan almost “blushed with favor,” but then couldn’t help but silently exclaim in his heart: these long-standing top geniuses, one couldn’t yet fathom their actual strength, but the “aura” revealed in their behavior was truly one higher than the next…
As Ronan approached, the mbers of the Magic Ring on both sides automatically stepped aside, clearing a path for him.
Ronan reached the front of Caroni and another man. Caroni looked at him with a gentle gaze and introduced, “This is Archiduo, the Fourth Magic Ring master.”
Ronan shifted his gaze to the man next to Caroni, a fair-skinned, handso man, like Ronan, with long hair, whose facial contour was even close to delicate, possessing a temperant prettier than a woman.
The latter squinted his eyes, examining Ronan with a gaze he could not understand.
Ronan kept his expression calm and greeted Caroni and the man one by one.
“Don’t put too much pressure on yourself; just do your best… For you, this competition is only a trial, a tempering, what’s important is not the ranking, but what you gain…”
Caroni advised him. His words were very similar to Kosti’s. After that, he let Ronan find a seat on his own, as the competition was about to start.
After Ronan turned and left, the long-haired, delicately featured man beside Caroni slightly released his spiritual power, setting up a temporary exclusion force field that enveloped them both.
“Tsk…”
The delicate man uttered a surprised exclamation, “I now understand why there was such a misunderstanding.
The first ti I saw this Damien, I almost thought he was one of my offsprings lost to the outside world…
His appearance and temperant are almost identical to mine when I was young.”
“It’s just a bit of resemblance, after all, you both specialize in Ice Magic…”
Caroni shook his head, “But Damien is much tougher and more irascible than you by nature, you haven’t seen him when his bloodline is stimulated… even the Ancient Fla Demon Blood of the Sajiers Family must bow down and submit…”
“Has there been any research into the origin of his bloodline?”
The delicate man inquired.
“More than one person is interested… but all were turned down by Kosti.”
“A powerful and mysterious bloodline, specializing in Ice Magic, yet choosing to join the Seventh Magic Rings, Kosti’s unusual protection…”
The delicate man stroked his smooth chin, suddenly thinking of a possibility, “Do you think, this Damien, could he be that person’s offspring?”
“Do you feel that too?”
Caroni gazed at the starry sky and said softly, “I too see the shadow of Sherby from the past in him…”
“Probably only Kosti knows the answer.”
…
Nightfall arrived, the sky of the Goblin plain filled with stars, yet the “Spirit Light” released by the six Dawn Wizards brightly illuminated almost half of the plain.
Four huge dueling arenas were erected, and from under the six power factions, ten people stepped out respectively.
