A middle-aged man with short brown hair stands before Noah, wearing black-frad glasses. Noah had never t this man before.
Based on his well-fitted black suit, Noah guessed he was soone from the hotel managent.
Noah waited patiently for the man to introduce himself, but he rely stared at him indifferently.
This reaction was all too typical for Noah, as he frequently encountered such treatnt from those who viewed him as poor and a waste of their ti.
"Are you looking for ?" Noah asked.
The man seed to flinch upon hearing Noah's voice. He quickly extended his hand to Noah for a warm handshake.
A warm smile lit up his face as he spoke in a rough but cheerful tone, "Mr. Morgan, let introduce myself. I am William Wood, the CEO of The Royal Phoenix Hotel, Opal City branch..."
Although reluctant, Noah accepted his handshake but said nothing. He instead stared at him as if asking, "What do you want? Speak now or leave alone!"
Noah desperately wanted to rest. He hadn't slept or eaten all night, and now he feared his knee might give out and his eyes would automatically shut.
William Wood quickly clarified after seeing the unhappy gaze of the man in front of him, "Mr. Morgan, I apologize for bothering you. I heard you just checked in and ca to greet you in person."
'Wait, this man recognizes as the owner. Is that why he rushed over to et ? How is that possible?' This confused him.
"How do you know ?" Noah asked, curious.
"Mr. Morgan, we have your profile from the main office. Rest assured, your profile is confidential; only the core managent team is aware of your identity as the owner of the Golden Phoenix Hotel."
Noah's face instantly stiffened. Despite this guy's assurance, Noah disliked this because it ant several people still knew about him. It could lead to trouble if they leaked the info to the public and let the public learn about his current billionaire status.
"Sir, please don't worry. I'm the only one in this hotel who knows about it. The others are in the head office. Also, we didn't have your picture, so I'm excited to et you in person now." His smile broadened, clearly reflecting his pride in this encounter.
William continued, "Rest assured, the rest of the staff only recognize you as the President's Platinum VVIP guest, the highest guest level in our hotel."
Noah didn't know how to react to this, but at least now he understands why Diana felt like she saw a ghost after seeing his na.
"OK, you might return to your work now. I need to rest!" Noah dismisses him. He still needs to et Edgar before planning to deal with this man.
William smiled and nodded before leaving, asking Noah if he needed anything.
Naturally, Noah ordered room service for so delicious food because he needed to eat; otherwise, he might collapse right then.
...
Noah was unaware of how long he had been asleep until he finally woke up when his cell phone continued to vibrate.
Lying back and gazing at the white ceiling above, he allowed his cell phone to continue vibrating as he tried to piece together what had happened to him.
The last thing he rembered was filling his energy with delicious food and drinks before climbing into bed after a quick and refreshing shower.
After years of working in this city, he finally enjoyed the best sleep of his life.
A smile graced his lips as he happily shook his head, but his cell phone vibrated again. Pulling him away from that mont.
Glancing at the bedside table, he frowned, but soon, the frown on his forehead faded when he rembered sothing.
'Hold on! What ti is it? It must be Edgar, right?' he pondered, and grabbed his cell phone.
"Sir, I apologize for disturbing you," Edgar said from the other end. "I've arrived and was concerned because you didn't respond to my text, so I decided to call you..." He explained.
Noah sighed softly as he stood up from his bed, feeling guilty for sleeping too long.
"No problem, Edgar. Where are you now?" he asked while walking toward his suitcase.
"I'm in the sa hotel as you, sir."
Noah was surprised. He hadn't yet inford him whether he would be staying here.
After a mont of hesitation, he opened his suitcase to search for suitable clothes.
"Did the CEO of this hotel, William Wood, ntion my na to you, Edgar?"
"Yes, sir. I encountered him in the lobby while I was checking in. Sir, there's no need to hurry; you have plenty of ti to rest and refresh. If I may suggest, shall we et for dinner?"
Noah quickly dismissed the suggestion. He cannot afford to waste any more ti; he must see Edgar now to clear up the many thoughts and questions clinging to his mind.
"You can co to my room now, Edgar. I need to et you. And I need it now..." Noah said, grabbing a red flannel shirt and a black pair of trousers. That was the best he could find from there.
"Yes, sir, right away—"
After finishing the call with Edgar, Noah quickly put on his clothes.
He was stunned as he looked at his reflection in the mirror.
Noah was unsure whether the expensive mirror or the bright lights created an overly sharp reflection of himself. He found it strange to see himself so clearly for the first ti.
And now he knew why Diana acted condescendingly at the beginning.
He looked skinny with ssy hair. His sunken eyes showed a lack of sleep, and his skin was dry and pale from sleeping in a cheap, poorly ventilated, air-conditioned room. His sideburns looked so apparent. They had grown dark because he had not shaved since the day before yesterday.
"It's no surprise that Diana believes I'm a holess person daring to stay at this luxury hotel."
Noah faintly smiled, recalling the earlier incident while tidying his hair.
"Damn it, man! You really need to fix your appearance! You are no longer Noah, the poor guy. Not anymore; Now, you're Noah Morgan, the Billionaire. At this rate, you might even beco a Trillionaire soon!" He chuckled, hearing his foolish words.
By the ti Noah finished, the doorbell rang.
His heart tightened once more as he prepared to et Edgar Brooks, who was linked to the wealth he received and the sudden system now occupying his mind.
Noah opened the door, surprised to find a tall man waiting. Dressed in a dark blue navy suit, he appeared both handso and gentle, his expression conveying a harmless deanor.
He was astonished that this man was his father's assistant; he looked more like a movie star.
"Edgar Brooks?"
Edgar gave a slight nod. "Mr. Noah Morgan, I'm here to serve you as your assistant and explain your inheritance. Are you ready?" He extended a friendly handshake.
Noah smiled as he accepted his handshake. He gestured for him to enter, "Yeah. I'm ready!"
