The mindless titan headed towards the most populated area, of the field and began feasting on whoever it got it's hands on.
Gazing at the uneven ground before him, Erian's eyes flashed as an idea ca to him, but he didn't act as of yet. The beast was only 50 ters away from him. If he acted now, his actions would draw the attention of the Titan and he would eaten without a doubt.
The Titan picked up another handful of youths, raising its head up, it tossed the crushed screaming youths into its enlarged mouth.
Seeing that the beast was distracted, massive streams of nuclear energy gathered in his palm as he charged up, making his glove glow in the process. Sharp claws extended out from his finger tips. Erian felt his veins tremble in pain as the nuclear energy in his arms reached its limit.
Suddenly, he swiped at the ground.
"Boom!"
Massive amount of dust rose into the air, covering an area of ten ters in a brown cloud.
Ignoring the terrible pain he was feeling in his palm, Erian jumped into the massive hole and quickly buried himself by claw more sand on him.
Before the cloud of dust could settle, a slight buldge could be seen on that particular area as though sothing was buried there, but it was actually soone who was buried in the ground!
This was the plan Erian had co up with in this short period of ti and while there might be more practical plan, hiding was the only this ti.
The Titan was truly mindless. Although it had been attracted by the blast earlier, the screaming food took back its attention and it resud chasing after them with a gurgling sound rumbling from its lips.
Michael Silva had happened to glance towards Erian the mont of the explosion and had witnessed Erian's strategy. His face lit up and he ignored his arrogance as he also executed Erian's plan.
Michael punched heavily at the ground, causing a cloud of dust and a massive hole in the ground. But the ground was harder than he thought as only half a ter wide hole appeared. Hurriedly, he let loose another punch, causing another half a hole to appear. Without hesitation, he squeezed in and buried himself deep into the sand, hiding from the Titan that had been attracted by the noise.
Few people noticed Erian and Michael's actions and seeing that the monster was ignoring the noticeable buldge on the ground and chasing after them, their survival instincts kicked in and then a weird scene unfolded.
Serval youths punching heavily at the ground, hoping to make a hole large enough to hide them, but the people with strength lesser than level nine were unsuccessful in their attempt as the strength of this ground was harder than they had expected.
"H-help !!!"
Tears stread down a young lady's face as she kept punching at the ground, but she was unable to dig a hole through it.
Her friends had told her that this university doesn't look at one's strength and talent and the requirents on their page was actually fake. As a 2-star talent with a dream of surpassing expectations and becoming a Titan, she naturally tried her luck and it turned out they were right, the University really didn't examine her talent.. But now, she wished they had!
"Boom!"
The ground trembled, but it still didn't give in!
"AHHH!"
She felt soemthing suddenly picked her up and then with a squeeze, her entire body cracked and compress like a piece of chip as the Titan picked her up with a 'Gigi' sound.
Several others were just like the lady, not having strength to dig through the ground and were instantly killed by the Titan as the noise they were making from their dig was like a beacon to the beast.
"Ten seconds."
"Nine seconds."
"Eight seconds."
Erian counted in his midn as he held his breath. Suddenly, he heard a loud rumbling sound from the ground beside him.
His expression changed drastically. Soone was actually closing him in him and the Titan was hot on their tail!
"Bastard!"
Erian roared in alsolute fury! The person even jumped into the hole Erian had created and was trying to bury himself right beside him.
'It's fine if you are using my tactic, but why are you using it right beside !?'
The vibration from the ground was getting closer and closer, making Erian feel very anxious. He wasn't sure if the Titan was heading for them or for others, but from the intensity of the vibration, it was certainly heading in his direction.
"Fvck it!"
Eeuan erupted out from the ground, only to see Aryan with a panicked expression, trying to completely bury himself right beside him.
The Titan was actually headed for them. Its hand stretched out to grab them, the shadow of the large hand already covered them. In the next second, they would be eaten by the Titan.
Seeing Erian erge from the ground, Aryan's expression turned savage at the mont of life and death, ones true nature would be revealed.
He imdiately stretched out his hands, grabbing Erian by the shoulder with overwhelming might, he tried tossing Erian towards the Titan in hope to stall it for a mont. But Erian was like a massively compressed mountain, unmoving even to the strongest of forces!
Erian actually let out a laugh. But it was one of pure anger. Soone actually wanted to use him as a shield!
Whoosh!
In a flash, Erian's silhouette shook as he shrugged off Aryan's arms. His brutal aura locked completely onto every hair on Aryan's body. Aryan could not react at all to Erian's unusual action!
The mont when an expression of astonishnt appeared on Aryan's face, Erian seized Aryan's skull with his pair of hands, like a screw being clenched by enormous tal pliers. Aryan was totally unable to free himself!
"Bang!"
With a knee as hard as iron, directly exploded onto Aryan's face!
Aryan's entire face caved in deeply. It was like he was smashed ferociously by a giant iron hamr. He flew several dozen ters, fiercely smashing into the ground. He didn't even have the chance to let out a blood-curdling scream before he completely passed out!
