"Ugh!"
Erian groaned in pain. A pounding headache echoed in his brain as he drowsily sat upright. His body was feeling lethargic with every movent, which faded overti.
'Where I'm i?' Erian massaged his pounding head when he looked around his surroundings. He was in a very large clearing surrounded by large round tallic walls, just like a large Colosseum used for fighting in ancient tis.
He saw several youths sprun on the soft green ground like a bunch of helpless ants. They were also waking up just like him.
"What happened?"
"Why does my head feel so heavy?" The youths began to grumble one by one.
"Uhn? Weren't we on a train? Or was it a dream?" Another youth asked in confusion.
Erian had also noticed this detail, but what attracted his attention the most was the large screen that floated in the sky.
"Entry Examination."
"Mission: Survive the Zombie Titan attack for one minute."
"Starts In: 00:38.07."
"What is that?" A youth with a sharp eyes asked nervously, pointing at the large screen above their heads.
The others looked upwards and noticed the large screen and their expressions began to rapidly change.
"This is obviously a joke right?" Soone spoke out in agitation. No one dared to be calm at this point because the objective on the screen shouldn't have been possible. The youths imdiately erupted into a cacophony of noises.
"I want to go ho."
"I-i forfeit the examination." A female youth no re than sixteen years of age whispered in slight fear, but no one was really listening.
Being near a Zombie Titan for one second as a level Nine Enhanced is just wishing desperately to be killed. But the task on the screen was asking to survive an attack for one minute! Wasn't that just feeding them to the hungry Titan like snacks to a pet?
Erian's expression was completely dark as he watched the tir clicke 00:00.00.
"Clang!"
A loud chanical sound echoed as one of the heavy steel walls slide upwards with a loud rumble, revealing a deep darkness that seem to stare right at the depths of one's soul.
The youths imdiately went silent as they held their breath, not daring to breath too deeply.
"ROAR!!!"
A terribly soundwave blasted out from the dark hole, stunning the youths into dizziness.
"Let out!" Not knowing who started it, about half of the youths started screaming in pure terror, as they witnessed a ten ter tall Titan erged from the depth of the darkness.
"My father is the a General within the Federation, you will let out this insta- yuhck!!!" A dark skinned youth scread his lungs out and as a level nine enhanced, his voice echoed within the large Colosseum.
A weird laughter gurgled out from the Titan's mouth. It had unexpectedly appeared before the young man, it picked him up as though picking up a toy.
The young man was instantly crushed while he was still alive. His hands and legs bent in an unnatural position as the mindless titan picked him and gobbling him up like a piece of prawn.
"Cruunch!"
A dying scream from the young man echoed from Titan's throat as the young man was swallow deep into the belly of the mindless titan.
"Ahhhh!" Witnessing the grotesque scene, the youths instantly scread in terror, a few weak minded youths stood frozen, petrified in shock at the alarming sight.
"Run!" It was unknown who shouted it first, but witjour needing to hear that word a second ti, the various youths fled in all directions like a crowd of headless chicken.
Erian was amongst the first group to flee at the first sight of the Titan. From their previous interaction, even a roar was enough to injure majority of them, Erian definitely wouldn't wait to find out if he could withstand the attack of a mindless titan even if this was a more weaker one.
Although the mindless titan appeared very slow, just a single step was enough to cross a distance of twenty ters, catching up to several youths as it scooped below at the crowd. Just one grab and in its hands was a handful of shed up bodies, blood and bodily fluids dripping from its fingers as five to six students were being gobbled up like chips!
"Gigigigi!" A weird noise escaped the mindless Titan's lips, its Gigantic eyes focusing on the area with lots of rood.
A male youth not older than 16 was running with all his might, expending most of his nuclear energy as a vein glowed crimson right next to his heart.
Suddenly, the sky seem to turned dark. The solemness in his face turned to confusion as he raised his head up.
There, a large foot was enlarging right above him. His confusion instantly transford into fear as his eyes opened wide. Noticing the lady by his side, his eyes turned vicious. He suddenly grabbed the lady running by his side and pushed her backwards, while stomping his foot to the ground, rolling forwards at the sa ti.
Before the lady was able to figure out what was happening, the large foot pressed against her body.
"Plop!"
The sound of a at bag exploding echoed as various at tissue and organs scattered in all directions, a few pieces landing on the young man's body, but he dared not slow down. No one was able to witness this wicked scene that had just occured as everyone he was busy running for their lifes.
Streams of radiation energy flowed from his heart into his legs, amplifying his speed by a notch, but with the speed of the Titan, it was only a matter of ti. Looking at the ti, only 15 seconds had passed and about 150 people had either being swallowed or squashed to death by the Titan.
It was certain that before the end of the sixty seconds, more than half of the 800 plus youths would be dead and if nothing was done, Erian would definitely be amongst them.
There was no way any of them could out run the Titan for an entire minute. He needed to think of sothing unless he wouldn't be able to escape.
