Hi there! It's been a while.
So, an update first. I apologize for the little communication for so long. Ever since I stopped working on Blood Magus, I took a step back from my socials and stopped checking on things so much. I ntioned it a couple tis to people who asked on Discord, but I got hit with a few personal events while I was writing that really ssed with my montum. And when I tried to get back to it, I found I just didn't have the motivation.
I intended to start with another story soon after that, but never really got around to it. I guess I really needed a break.
But I've had a break now, and I'm back to writing. I've started on a new series just to get my blood flowing a bit, and I've been very happy with my output. It's been consistent, and I'm happy with what I'm writing. In the next week or so, I'll probably put it up sowhere for people to read. Obviously, nobody is obligated to read it, but writing is seriously sothing I love doing, and part of that is sharing it with the world.
As for the announcent. I was visiting so author friends earlier this month and when they heard I had a book's worth of Blood Magus written on RoyalRoad without putting it on Amazon, they got pretty mad at for missing out on showing it to an entire other community. They sat down and one of them pretty much set up the whole Amazon launch for , since I'd never self-published before. And recently, it just ca out.
Obviously, I imagine you've read the story already, and I won't ask you to buy it again. But ratings are very appreciated, and if you have Kindle Unlimited, even just downloading the story is truly a huge help. I don't know if Blood Magus will reach a larger audience on Amazon, but if it did, it would be a massive source of motivation toward starting on it again.
