Looking at Sebastian’s exaggerated expression mixed with a bit of complexity and vigilance, Charlotte knew that this fellow was probably getting the wrong idea again.

Back when she first took Yulster as her new Blood Favored, his expression was similar, and she guessed he thought she’d taken the Dark Apostle into her fold as well.

At that thought, Charlotte was sowhat speechless.

Sebastian had many good points, his service was thorough, his ability outstanding, and he saved her a great deal of effort, not to ntion he was very satisfying in his service, working perfectly alongside the maid Sherry.

It was just that his character was too possessive, really like a big dog, alert to any other presence approaching her, as if afraid of losing his own status.

However, Charlotte did not dislike this reaction from him.

Valuing his place in her heart, this was actually a representation of loyalty.

Of course, Sebastian’s initial choice to follow her was also driven by his own further ambition.

He never concealed this point and had been upfront about it when he pledged his loyalty.

But, after living nearly two years together, having gone through much, their relationship had long surpassed the initial "transaction."

When Charlotte rescued him from the hands of the Great Knight of the Bold Judgent Court, when they signed the Blood Contract, Sebastian had truly beco a follower of Charlotte, and not rely an ambitious man looking to catch a ride for his own advancent.

After so thought, Charlotte decided to explain further:

"Albrecht was forced into a contract as a Blood Servant, not a favored one. He will serve as our pawn to infiltrate the Blood Demon Sect."

"The Blood Demon Sect is already aware of my existence. Even if they are unclear about my identity, it is still a hidden danger. Since we plan to develop during the New Moon, we must deal with this organization as soon as possible..."

"For a secretive organization like the Blood Demon Sect, it is easier to penetrate from the inside than to attack from the outside. That’s why I chose Albrecht."

While speaking, she glanced at Sebastian:

"Just as Yulster is to the Nais Clan, I will not keep Albrecht by my side, so you don’t need to worry about him taking your place."

"I am very satisfied with your service; to , the role of butler is only fit for you, so... there’s no need for wild thoughts."

Upon hearing Charlotte’s words, Sebastian seed stunned, his expression sheepish, looking like soone who had been found out.

He coughed awkwardly and said:

"Mistress, you misunderstand. Sebastian is very pleased to see more and more followers around you. How could I possibly entertain wild thoughts?"

"Oh, is that so? I thought you were worried about soone stealing your lilight."

Charlotte looked at him with a smile that was not quite a smile.

Being stared at by Charlotte’s star-like brilliant crimson eyes, Sebastian beca even more uncomfortable.

He sighed and said:

"Well, great mistress, actually, Sebastian is indeed a little uneasy, and a little worried..."

"However, Sebastian ensures you that it is not towards you, but rather... towards Sebastian himself."

Saying this, the Fla Elf seed sowhat disheartened, sighing and smiling bitterly:

"Mistress, your power has been restored faster than Sebastian imagined. In less than two years, you’ve been able to confront several church legends, and even subjugated a Legendary Bloodline."

"But Sebastian... is still only a Silver Moon."

"Sebastian is truly worried, worried about losing value in your eyes, losing status, worried about not keeping up with the pace of your advancent..."

Hearing Sebastian’s words, Charlotte was sowhat taken aback.

She had not expected him to feel this way.

She sized up Sebastian anew, while Sebastian slightly bowed, his head lowered in so sha.

Through the Blood Contract that connected them through the unseen realms, Charlotte could almost feel the unease and anxiety in his heart, as well as his confusion about the future.

Charlotte knew what that confusion was about.

It was about lacking confidence in oneself.

Sebastian was once at the Blazing Sun Level but fell in rank due to severe injuries, with no hope of recovery.

Although he had beco her Blood Favored, the possibility of regaining his strength was not sothing that could happen instantly.

After becoming a Blood Favored, Sebastian was once very excited, insisting on training every day in hopes of regaining his Blazing Sun Level strength as soon as possible.

And Charlotte knew about these efforts; she had seen him more than once, after a busy day, heading to the quiet room alone for training into the night.

His strength had indeed improved, but compared to a complete recovery, it was still insufficient.

Perhaps with more ti, he would eventually recover his strength, but compared to the speed of Charlotte’s improvent, compared to the power of the new "followers" Charlotte recruited ti and again, Sebastian’s strength was becoming less and less significant.

Thus... it was inevitable that he started feeling anxious, even doubt about himself.

This was understandable.

You should know that when Charlotte first t the other party, their formidable strength was considered her trump card.

But now, to say nothing of True Ancestor Liberation, even if Charlotte were to compare her actual strength in her true form with that of the other party, Sebastian might already be no match for her.

Sebastian is at the peak of Silver Moon.

Charlotte had already reached the peak of Silver Moon, following the integration with the Divine Statue, and her unique physique also gave her greater resilience and resistance.

The gap in their strengths had long since reversed, not only that, but it would continue to widen in the future, and the strength of the followers Charlotte would subjugate could only increase.

So, it’s no wonder anyone would feel anxious about this.

After sensing Sebastian’s strength with care, Charlotte let out a slight sigh.

She wanted to pat him on the shoulder to comfort him, but seeing the height difference between them, and estimating that she’d have to tiptoe just to reach his shoulder, she abandoned this self-deprecating thought.

"Don’t sell yourself short; you have done very well. As for strength... when the ti is right, I will personally help you recover it, or perhaps even improve it. It’s not impossible," Charlotte said.

Sebastian was startled, looking sowhat dazed.

Seeing his shaful expression, Charlotte looked on with disdain:

"Co on, lift your head. I’ve already said, those who contribute will naturally receive their due rewards, and I’ve taken note of your efforts."

"More than strength, what I value is loyalty. The disloyal will never truly enter my sight, and you, you are already one of my acknowledged Favored."

Hearing Charlotte’s seemingly impatient but actually comforting words, Sebastian’s heart trembled, his face showing gratitude:

"Master..."

Watching his nearly tearful display, Charlotte twitched the corner of her mouth and said:

"Alright, you’ve lived for hundreds of years as an Elf, don’t act like a child. Go do what you need to do. I’m a bit thirsty; prepare so Transcendent Blood for ."

Sebastian: ...

Taking a deep breath, Sebastian bowed:

"Apologies, Master, it was unseemly of . I will prepare your late-night snack right away."

After saying this, he bowed respectfully again and then slowly withdrew.

Watching Sebastian leave, Charlotte leaned against the railing, deep in thought.

In so ways, Sebastian’s feelings reflected the current state of her power.

As ti passed, her own strength continuously grew, and with external aids, she had long exceeded the expected norms, with one foot already in the fray of Mythical contention.

However, the overall strength of her followers was too weak; so could not keep pace with her.

Especially leading figures like Sebastian, who knew her true identity, with Sebastian himself being the strongest.

Like Black Cat Nisi, and the current Priest of the Blood Wolf Tribe, Werewolf Luf, they were even weaker.

Charlotte wanted to develop her power and expand her Faith, but she couldn’t personally manage everything; she definitely needed her followers to act.

If she intended to secure a foothold in the Kingdom or even the entire Mireya, it wasn’t just her; her followers’ strength also had to be stronger.

At the very least... they had to be able to hold their own.

"Perhaps, it’s ti for to consider enhancing everyone’s strength," Charlotte remarked to herself.

The usual way to improve strength was through Transcendent training, but this process was too slow.

But Charlotte had a cheat.

That was one of the abilities unlocked by the Blood Holy Scripture — Divine Grace Blessing.

The Divine Grace Blessing was one of the rare abilities in the Blood Holy Scripture that could use Blood Divine Power to bestow corresponding blessings on a target with a certain amount of divine power expenditure.

Charlotte had tried it a few tis; the effects could be permanent or temporary, with the divine power cost directly proportional to the strength of the blessing, which could be applied to objects or to people.

She could use this power to create "Divine Artifacts," to grant Believers the power to perform Divine Arts, or even to use this power to enhance a target’s bloodline strength and directly increase their power.

Of course, the consumption wasn’t small, and since divine power was scarce, Charlotte hadn’t used it much, opting to set this ability aside for the ti.

But now that she had integrated with the mysterious Divine Statue, divine power was no longer so scarce.

Furthermore, having unlocked the Faith Network, she could establish deeper connections with Believers. Using divine power to bless and empower Believers, Descendants, and Favored wasn’t just bestowal anymore but beca a long-term investnt in a sense. She could benefit in return by harnessing their growing strength...

It was a long-term process, but with ti, it could beco a major source of Blood Divine Power, and it might even help Charlotte truly ascend to a Divine Throne!

With this in mind, Charlotte had a plan:

"Once Albrecht has sacrificed the new Divine Statue, and the central eting ends successfully, after I return to the Northern Land, I’ll put this matter on the agenda..."
