"A Divine Miracle from a year ago?"

Demon Hunting Cardinal Joseph frowned slightly.

The New Moon Diocese was vast, almost every month there were dozens of reports of Divine Miracles, though the vast majority were deed false, a considerable number of them were considered to be genuine.

Unlike other slumbering deities, as the most powerful deity, the Creator God, even in slumber, still exerted an influence on the world.

And it could be that the inadvertent dispersal of the God’s power might manifest supernatural effects in the real world.

Not only that, the Divine Lord once walked the earth and left many traces.

These traces, when revealed in the present world, often ca with anomalies, great and small.

All of these were deed Divine Miracles.

And as for the Divine Miracle from a year ago...

The Demon Hunting Cardinal frowned again.

It seed... there were too many.

A multitude of reports, sixty or seventy, surfaced in his mind, and he wasn’t sure which one the Great Judge was referring to.

The Great Judge did not leave them hanging.

He paused slightly, then continued,

"It was that ti when the Divine Statues lit up, last June the sixth, all of the Main God’s statues in the Holy Royal Court Church burst into radiance at the sa mont, lasting for nearly a minute..."

Demon Hunting Cardinal appeared enlightened:

"You’re talking about that ti... If I rember correctly, it wasn’t just the statues in the Lutecia Cathedral, right? Soon after, there were reports of statues lighting up from various places."

Great Judge Bernard nodded slightly:

"More precisely, it was the statues of our Main God throughout the entire New Moon Diocese that had all lit up..."

The Demon Hunting Cardinal felt a stirring in his heart:

"Lord Bernard, it was you who was in charge of the subsequent investigation, wasn’t it? Could it be... did the investigation unearth sothing?"

The Great Judge nodded:

"Strictly speaking, it was while reviewing Charlotte de Castel’s records these past few days that I found sothing interesting."

With that, he looked towards his colleagues:

"Do you two know? Count Castel’s birthday is on June the sixth, and at that very mont, the mont the statues lit up, she was in the Church of Bold, attending her coming of age ceremony..."

"The Bold Church also has relevant records. I later searched and found that she began to be known as the ’Saintess’ of the Divine Lord from that ti onwards."

Hearing the words of the Great Judge, the Demon Hunting Cardinal was montarily stunned, then his eyes widened:

"Wait... Lord Bernard, are you suggesting that all the statues in the New Moon Diocese lit up for her at that ti?!"

The Great Judge hesitated for a mont, then spoke solemnly,

"Perhaps it might have been considered a coincidence before, but in light of today’s test, maybe... she really has caught the attention of our Lord."

Saying this, the Great Judge looked towards the Great Priest of the New Moon with an indescribable look in his eyes:

"Great Priest, do you think... could it be that our Lord bypassed the Saintess Palace’s Oracle and directly chose an outsider to be the Saintess?"

His tone was serious, his expression earnest, and within that earnestness, there was a mix of complex and unfathomable emotions.

Great Priest Charles glanced at him:

"Are you suggesting that our Holy Royal Court has lost the favor of the Divine Lord?"

As soon as these words were spoken, the entire Prayer Room fell silent.

Great Priest Charles sighed softly, saying:

"Lord Bernard, the beginnings of fragntation often stem from self-doubt and denial; please refrain from making such statents again."

"It’s true that there might be corrupt priests within the Royal Court, but as long as the light of the Divine Lord remains, we are still the envoys of our Lord..."

"As for whether Charlotte de Castel is a Saintess... let ti be the judge. If she truly is the chosen Saintess, then that is the Divine Lord’s choice."

Having heard the words of the Great Priest, Demon Hunting Cardinal Joseph couldn’t help but say:

"Great Priest, are you suggesting we do not intend to bring her into the Church to further verify her Saintess identity?"

Great Priest Charles let out a sigh:

"A Saintess not anointed by an Oracle will not be recognized by the Church Authority Country, and so-called Divine Miracles alone cannot convince the Central Cardinals Group."

"And if she truly is a Saintess, then, as Lord Bernard said, the Divine Lord may have elected her through Divine Favor, bypassing the Saintess Palace, which also implies that the Divine Lord did not intend for her to join the Church..."

"So, whether we invite her or not, whether we verify it or not, is irrelevant."

"Not to ntion, being able to project Creation Divine Power in an Illusion Realm does not necessarily an she is a Saintess, it could simply be due to her possession of sothing related to our Lord."

"For instance, a fragnt of a Divine Artifact from our Lord, or Holy Power remnants left behind in this world after our Lord’s Holy War... Although these things are hard to co by for mortals, there are always exceptions; so natural affinities for Holy Power can beco the fortunate."

Hearing the words of the Great Priest, the Demon Hunting Cardinal fell silent.

What the Great Priest had said was true.

The Mireya Continent had experienced many God Wars, and the remnants of Divine Artifacts and Divine Power were not uncommon.

Throughout history, there indeed were so who quickly rose to prominence because they had obtained such transcendent powers.

And not to digress to history, but even within the Holy Royal Court, many high-tier Clergy had embarked on the path to priesthood and climbed up the ranks precisely because they were such fortunate ones.

Moreover, the ergence of many Cults was often associated with the appearance of those malevolent Divine Artifact Fragnts in the world.
