She was a petite girl with twin purple ponytails, a black eyepatch covering her left eye—adorable, but clearly dangerous.

Beside her was another female Shinigami with long braided pigtails, wearing glasses and wielding a long-handled naginata. Though small in stature, her curvaceous figure was enough to make even Suì-Fēng jealous.

Both of them were clad in radiant half-skeletal armor, glowing with a golden hue as they charged straight toward him.

As Masatsuki Aozaki watched them approach, hazy mories resurfaced in his mind. Combined with the earlier encounter with Chika Shihōin, he instantly identified them.

They were—

The First Generation Captain of the 6th Division, Furōfushi Saitō.

And the First Generation Captain of the 8th Division, Batsu’unsai Katori.

Expressionless, the two won closed in on Masatsuki like emotionless husks—living corpses driven by instinct rather than thought.

Masatsuki maintained a faint, casual smile as he slowly raised his hand, albeit sowhat reluctantly. From his fingertips, black and white light began to shimr.

It sparkled with breathtaking brilliance—like stardust scattered across the night sky—drawing the eye and holding it captive.

The luminous black-and-white sphere at his fingertips was srizing, like an elegant ink painting co to life.

Without realizing it, the two female captains were drawn into the mont, completely entranced by the spectacle.

But as they gazed upon the scene, an oppressive surge of Reiatsu silently erupted—snapping them back to reality in an instant.

The pressure was overwhelming, far beyond anything they had anticipated. Even as captain-class combatants, they felt it bearing down on them.

They now understood—behind that beautiful display was a terrifying, deadly force.

The glowing sphere radiated like a brilliant jewel, freezing all thought.

Then, the condensed Reiatsu exploded upward into a pillar of light.

"Fragor!"

The air cracked with a deafening blast.

A beam of pure force shot across the battlefield at a speed faster than the eye could track—cutting through hundreds of ters in the blink of an eye.

The beam tore through their armor, ripped into flesh, and scattered bloody chunks across the stone columns surrounding the Senkaimon.

But the battle wasn’t over yet.

That thought flashed through Masatsuki’s mind.

He sensed their Reiatsu vanish for a mont—then reappear, still drawing closer, though far weaker than before.

And that wasn’t all...

Behind him, he noticed an old, bald man with a sleazy expression quietly closing in.

The First Generation Captain of the 13th Division—Saizō Sakahone.

The mont he got within range, he didn’t hesitate—he swung his Zanpakutō without pause.

"Light Form Movent."

Masatsuki’s body instantly dissolved into motes of light, reappearing high above in the sky.

Suspended above, he looked down calmly at the old man.

At that mont, Saizō Sakahone raised his Zanpakutō once more.

Shhhk!

A Reishi-forged tachi ford in an instant, slicing downward with imnse force—cleaving both Saizou and his blade in two.

Scalding blood sprayed into the air, aiming straight for Masatsuki.

With a flick of his hand, a fierce gust of wind surged forth, dispersing the blood before a single drop could touch him.

His expression remained indifferent as he caught the severed tip of Sakahone’s sword.

Then, with a swift spin, Masatsuki turned and hurled the broken blade like a spear.

Whoosh!

It shot through the air like a teor, piercing straight through the skeletal armor of the twin-tailed girl—rciless and precise.

She let out a sharp scream as the blade impaled her, flinging her through the air like a skewered candied fruit.

She crashed into one of the Senkaimon’s stone pillars and was pinned there, unmoving, as shattered debris exploded in all directions.

...However, no one cared about the fate of the "dead" woman now.

Batsu’unsai Katori, clad in broken golden armor, launched a sudden side attack. Her naginata slashed down with trendous Reiatsu, carrying the might to split mountains and cleave rivers.

Monts ago, they had been over a hundred ters apart—but for warriors of their level, that was nothing more than a blink.

In that single instant, the gap was closed.

Fast.

Masatsuki Aozaki watched as Batsu’unsai Katori halted and raised her long-handled naginata to strike. Without hesitation, Masatsuki stepped forward and raised his right hand high into the air.

In the next instant, his body vanished completely.

Light Form Movent!

In less ti than it took to blink, Masatsuki reappeared half a ter away—right behind Batsu’unsai Katori.

With a light flick of his palm, blood instantly splattered across his arm.

Masatsuki glanced back. Saizō Sakahone was raising his blade, but most of his skeletal armor had already vanished.

Masatsuki instantly understood.

Earlier, when he struck Saizō, he had deliberately avoided the sections covered by the bone armor. Yet even so, the armor had still ended up damaged.

This wasn’t Hell. Their ability to revive here had to be connected to that armor.

And clearly, the more severe the damage, the more Reiryoku it cost to recover.

Before Saizō’s blade could fall, a fist had already driven into his chest, erupting with violent force.

Ikkotsu!

Masatsuki didn’t need to think—he simply followed instinct, slamming a clean Hakuda punch into Saizō. The technique was brutally effective in his hands.

Bang!!!

The force exploded like a crashing mountain, tearing through every fiber of Saizō’s body.

The so-called Hell Armor shattered like paper—utterly defenseless against the blow.

As the blood mist spread, Masatsuki silently turned away.

He casually flicked the blood from his hand, locking eyes with the purple-haired girl rushing in.

No words were exchanged, but the look they shared carried a silent resolve.

Boom!!!

An arm and a blade lifted at once. A sharp sound cracked through the air.

Ikkotsu!

Blood blood like a flower across the body.

Even with the sword as a barrier, the concentrated power was like a miniaturized nuclear blast—punching straight through her defense and into her soft, slender fra.

Her delicate body shattered, flesh and blood flying.

Masatsuki stood motionless, tilting his head slightly.

At the sa ti, Batsu’unsai Katori brought her naginata down in a diagonal slash, aiming for the neck—a clean beheading.

But it collided with a pale green, translucent shield.

Millón Escudo!

Steel scraped against spirit shield, sparks flying, before a crisp shatter echoed out.

"It’ll be quick—so fast you won’t even feel pain."

The young man’s voice was gentle.

He raised his fist again, and the air exploded with a deafening blast of pressure.

"Mm."

A faster, heavier punch struck just as Batsu’unsai Katori swung down.

The air scread as it was torn apart—blinding light and pressure slamd her eyes shut. Her consciousness fled before the pain ever arrived.

Pop pop pop!!

Like blood-red fireworks, her body exploded just after the head burst apart.

The sight was both cruel and dazzling.

Those who had just arrived were frozen in shock. Before they could react, a figure dashed in like a mad dog.

"Masatsuki!"

The blonde beauty of a Shinigami galloped in and threw herself onto Masatsuki Aozaki.

Even the 1st Division soldiers trailing behind couldn’t help but swallow hard.

Too fast. Too powerful. Too clean.

A warrior of that level shouldn’t have died so easily!

Even from afar, they could feel the overwhelming Reiatsu. If not for Lieutenant Sasakibe and 3rd Seat Matsumoto shielding them, they would’ve been knocked unconscious long ago.

And yet, a being that terrifying was just taken down—in re monts—by the Captain of the 11th Division!
