After the announcent, everyone made their way back to their hos, and Zion, alongside his won, followed Belwyn to the castle. There, they started talking about the future of Cernunnos.
"So, what now?" Belwyn asked
"First order of business is this." Snapping his fingers, Zion removed the do that covered the kingdom.
"You’re not trapping us anymore?" The king asked
"I never planned on locking you up forever. It was just until I got what I wanted. Now that I’ve got what I ca here for, I have no reason to keep the do active."
"I really appreciate you for doing that."
"Yeah, sure. Anyway, my people will be tearing down anything that belongs to Cernunnos. Temples, churches, shrines, statues, all of it. It will be replaced with all things Luminera, and the worship of Cernunnos will be banned. Effective imdiately."
Belwyn nodded. "I understand."
"Good. Your royal court will be replaced, as well as anyone who works for the royal family. You are to listen to the people I’m replacing your royal court with, as they know the future I wish to instill in this land. Before you ask, no, I will not destroy your culture; however, like I said, everything that is related to Cernunnos is outlawed and should be destroyed or banned."
"I understand." The king nodded.
"Good. Then we’re done here. Don’t try anything, I have people everywhere I can receive information very fast. I’ll know the mont you try to go behind my back."
"No, no, please, I would never. I know my place, and I won’t do sothing such as that."
Zion looked at Belwyn and jerked his body as if he was about to attack the man. Belwyn flinched, stumbling back until he tripped and fell.
"Haha, bitch. I’ll be going to the Nexus Pool. See ya."
When Zion left, Belwyn could only sigh. He was once a proud, fierce, and energetic king. Now, he was worn out and old. A complete 180 from his past self just a year ago.
"I’m tired." He sighed.
---
"Uhh, Zion, what are we doing at the Nexus Pool?"
"Lidia, my dear, I’m going to do sothing so insanely stupid that you all will think I have so sort of screw loose." He replied
"Ha, what? You’re going to jump in the Nexus Pool or sothing?"
Silence
The girls turned to face Zion. Seeing as he wasn’t laughing or replying, they concluded that Lidia hit the mark.
"What the hell?!"
"Zion, I know you’re crazy, but this?"
"Fuck yeah, go for it!"
"Please don’t hurt yourself."
"Think before you act, young master."
"Girls, girls, I’m not that insane. Do you really think I would do sothing so stupid?"
They all gave him a look as if they were saying, ’Do you know who you are?’
"Okay, that’s fair. I would do sothing like that." He admitted
"So what do you really plan on doing?" Alice wondered, taking a seat on a nearby rock.
"Well, first, look up and you’ll see Luminera."
They all looked up.
While their attention was away from him, he jumped into the Nexus Pool.
"Ha! You fell for it! Ti to enjoy this energy BAATHHHHHHH!! ARHHHHH OH GODDD! IT HURTS!! AHHHHHHHHHH!"
"You know, I don’t even care anymore." Lidia just sat on the ground and waited for Zion to finish.
The others agreed.
Contrary to its na, the Nexus Pool was not a body of water. Instead, it was a massive pillar of energy that extended into the sky. At so point, the energy did fade out, not reaching the height of the clouds, but overall, it looked like a massive white fla that was constantly burning, well, a golden fla now.
’What are you doing? Are you insane?!’ Luminera scread into his mind
’Yes! I am!’
’Why did I even ask that question?’
’I know, right? Such a dumb question.’
’Shut it! You don’t get to call my questions dumb! Even though my power is flowing through the Nexus Pool, that doesn’t an you won’t be unaffected by the energy it produces. After all, the Nexus Pool originates from the will of the world!’
’I know! That’s why I’m absorbing the energy!’
’W-What?! Are you stupid?! The energy will kill you!’
’Only if I die!’
’Oh my fucking gosh! Yes! That’s what killing you ans!’
’Stop crying, Luminera, you sound like a brat!’
’You little bitch! I want to strangle you right now! Fuck you make so upset!’
’Wait, I’m feeling sothing in my body. It’s like sothing is entering . Oh god. What’s happening!’
Zion’s mind vanished. Not even Luminera could locate him.
"Zion!" She descended from the heavens, touching the nexus pool only to be pushed backward by the shockwave it produced.
"Luminera?" Lidia asked
"What brings you here? Oh, are you trying to stop Zion’s stupidity?"
She shook her head. "It seems that his stupidity has won this round."
All the girls jumped up.
"What do you an?" They asked, clearly worried about their stupid lover.
"I can’t hear his thoughts anymore. No, it’s more than that. I can’t even feel his power. My connection to him is completely gone. It’s as if he doesn’t exist."
"What?! How could that be?! He was right here! He can’t be dead, right?!" Lacey, who was the closest to him, almost lost her mind. She was with Zion since the day he was born, and she would be devastated if he were dead.
"No, he’s alive!" Lidia shouted.
"How do you know?" Luminera asked
"His blood." She took out a vial of Zion’s blood. "He gave each of us a vial of his blood. After he learned that he could regenerate from anything as long as so part of his DNA exists, he gave us vials of his blood so he could always co back. Seeing as how he isn’t here, nor is Tessa warning us about sothing, he should be fine."
While she said that with confidence, in truth, Lidia was panicking. Her heart was already aching as she couldn’t lose her beloved just yet.
Luminera placed her hand on Lidia’s shoulder. "I hope you’re right. Not only for his sake, but for the entire world."
