An audible gulp escaped Zion’s throat as he swallowed hard. In front of him was one of the rulers of the demon world, and one of the most powerful beings that existed there. While he wasn’t scared, he did feel slightly overwheld or surprised. He didn’t know which one.
[Are you puffing out your chest?] Tessa asked, unimpressed with Zion’s reaction.
"....Yes."
Elowen licked her lips. "Interesting. Usually, when people hear my na, they either run away in fear or bow out of respect...and fear."
"I don’t bow to anyone."
"Really? Not even Luminera?"
Zion didn’t flinch. He knew that the demons were aware of his ’master’. Them knowing changed nothing.
"What? Do you think because I’m her Apostle that I worship her and shit? Nah, man. We’re business partners, that’s all. Maybe friends, I don’t know. But I don’t serve her."
"Wow, that’s the first ti I’ve heard soone claim they don’t follow the god who gives them their power. I’ve been around for a long ti, and every single Divine Apostle is so infatuated with their patron god to the point where-"
"They’re practically sucking the gods dick right? Yeah, I know. I just got done killing Arion’s apostle." Zion cut her off.
Elowen nodded, a smile on her face. She liked Zion more as they talked.
"Anyway, child, I didn’t co to hurt you or anything. I ca because Lilith asked to check up on you and bring you to the council."
"The council of wizards?" Zion asked as a joke, but then he rembered that he wasn’t on Earth, so his joke fell short.
"No, the council of Demons. Lilith awaits."
Elowen took to the skies, and Zion followed her. Together, they flew over the vast land, passing by various buildings, mountain ranges, and territories.
After around twenty minutes of flying, they approached a massive pillar of purple flas that shot up into the sky so high that it looked like it reached space.
Elowen extended her hand to Zion. "Hang on to . Only demons of a certain level can pass through this fire. You’ll be burned alive if you try to pass."
At first, Zion was going to decline her help as he could simply shift into his devil apostle form, but then he rembered that no one knew he possessed that kind of power, so he thought it was best to leave it that way.
He grabbed her hand, feeling Elowen’s intense demonic power flow over his body, then she flew into the purple flas.
The inside looked like a raging fire, but after Zion looked up, he saw why they were in there.
A massive floating landmass with a grand castle sat in the center of it. The place was huge, so huge that hundreds of thousands of people could live in the place and still not see each other because of the sheer size of the castle.
As they flew up toward the structure, landing on the ground, Lilith was there waiting for Zion.
"Zion! You’re here!" Lilith rushed over to him, checking to see if he was hurt in any way.
"Were you worried about ?" He asked smugly.
Instead of answering, she just punched him in the stomach.
"Arghh! Bitch!"
"Co inside quickly, there is a eting I have to attend, and you need to be there as my representative of the Millennial Demon Ranking!"
Zion grabbed his head in frustration. "Fuck, that stupid ass tournant? I wanna leave now."
"You can leave after they’ve fixed this god damn door!" Lilith shouted
"W-What?" Zion asked, a confused expression on his face.
"Sorry. The door to this castle is broken and is pisses off every ti I open it. The sound it makes just drives insane."
"O-Oh, yeah, I can understand that. Anyway, let’s go. I have another tournant to win."
"For the last ti, it’s not a tournant!"

Inside the castle, Zion followed Lilith and Elowen to the conference room. There, the eting between the Archdemons took place.
The five of them took their seats, their sheer presence making the air thick and hard to breathe.
’Fuck! These guys are no joke!’ Zion thought as he looked around, seeing demons of all kinds standing behind their, what he assud, masters.
"Lilith, so great of you to join us. Ahh, and I see you’ve brought your pet. I didn’t know he was still alive." A deep, powerful voice bood, shifting the dynamic of the room.
She scoffed. "Save it Azmorath, I don’t want to hear your shit!"
’Azmortath?’ Zion turned to the voice, noticing a tall, muscular, handso man with rich, blood-red hair. His eyes could pierce into one’s soul with their intensity, and he gave off an aura of dominance.
He sat in a golden throne with red padding, leaning on the armrest with an open button-down shirt and a glass of blood that he was swirling in his hand.
’Tessa? You see this shit?’
[Sadly, I do.]
’Bro is straight Aura Farming! The audacity! I can almost hear the music playing in the background.’
"Your pet seems to find sothing interesting about , seeing as he has been staring in my direction for the past minute." Azmorath said powerfully
"Zion, keep your head down. Know your place." Lilith tried to act like his master, and Zion did follow her demands.
"No, tell , boy. Why were you staring at ?"
Zion looked at Lilith for permission before he answered.
Azmorath sat up. "Ha! Asking your master for permission while I’m speaking to you? The king of demons? Do you not have any manners?"
"Are you my master?" Zion asked, his face straight and his expression indifferent.
"What?"
"Are you my master?" Zion asked once again.
"I don’t recall owning a human, no." He smiled.
"Then shut the fuck up."
The room fell silent, and everyone looked at Zion as if he were the craziest person in the world. Maybe he was, though.
They then looked at Azmorath to gaze at his expression. Was he angry, upset, or insulted? They didn’t know as he just stared at Zion with a fierce gaze, yet didn’t do anything.
"Interesting." He muttered under his breath.
