The obsidian stoned ground of the 1200 ters wide circular clearing was bathed in the currepted nether blood of the dead undead’s like a shattered mirror of nightmares. The black-crimson blood reflecting the horror! The bloodshed and the distorted visages of the undead army.
The obsidian stone’s littered with the broken, fragnted remains of the exploded undead’s, the impure nether energy enshroudeing the larger clearing like a dark vail. Creating for a nightmareish scene.
anwhile in the middle of that massacre stood zephyr, her poised figure graceful, dignified even imposing! Bathed in the dark-crimson currepted nether blood of the undead giving her a wild, savage even evil yet enigmatic presence.
Her lips curled into a satisfied grin when she watched the disbelieving! stunned! Even dumbfounded expression of the nether spirit hovering above the ground.
Beside her stood Black as he watched zephyr, his birth golden eyes shone with astonishnt! His expression both proud and pleasantly surprised. He knew that her poison mist ability had evolved and beco even stronger, but he didn’t know that it was this terrifyingly stronge.
’She never told about just what could her new ability do, looks like she wanted to surprise with it, and I’ve to say, she accomplished that splendidly, even I got a little stunned when these undead minions unexpectedly stopped out of no where, and simply exploded their transformation core.’ Thought Black.
Apparently, Zephyr hadn’t told Black about the specifics of her new ability, reason for his earlier astonishnt and Black himself didn’t pry open for more information either after she simply told him the na of her new ability and gave him a simple yet brief descriptions of it since that was enough for him! He didn’t even use his System or Partial-Omniscint to learn more about her new ability.
Then he shifted his attention towards The Nether Spirit — Ava’ross who was slowly coming back to his senses from his earlier state of shock.
Suddenly Zephyr opened her mouth, "You’re next worm!" Her voice cool and calm! As she pointed at the fragnted remains of the undead’s, she continued "this will be your fate!" She said. Her expression disdainful.
Upon hearing her voice Ava’ross was finally bought out of his reverie! his state of shock and disbelief!.
And this ti he regarded both Black and Zephyr with a much more serious look. Then as though he supposedly realized sothing, his eyes went wide, unexpectedly he erupted into a treacherous almost maddening laughter.
"hahahahahaha!!"
Black and Zephyr frowned upon watching his unexpected reaction.
They had expected him to fully blow up in rage after witnessing the massacre of his undead army which apparently he was so proud of.
They were even ready to imdiately engage in a life or death battle or if need be to flee into the dense forest canopy, but they never expected for him to lough like that making them confused! Bewildered!.
Ava’ross bent down in laughter clutching his stomach as his words rippled through the air, his face twisted into a wicked even sinister smile, then he opened his mouth...
"Haha.. I can’t believe this! I can’t! I really can’t.. So what if you killed all my undead minions. Did you forget who I’m — A Nether Spirit, as long as I kill you both and make you my new minions, everything would be good! Hahaha.. "
"I can’t believe I got such good specin to turn into my minions! You both will definitely make for two splendid undead slaves! I can’t wait to see just how much stronge I’ll beco after turning you both into my new undead slaves! Hahaha.. " he said, with that sa wicked smile, he didn’t even consider the possibility of him failing!
Already day-dreaming about his success.
Even so Ava’ross wasn’t wrong either since his level alone eclipsed both their base prowess and battel prowess because there stood a devide of full five levels between level 69 and level 70.
Normally each rank only had a devide of 3 levels between them however the transition from the sixth rank to the seventh rank was a major one since in this rank a lifeform finally asends to the third stage of the mortal phase of assencion. Adding another 2 levels to the already massive gap of 3 levels.
Moreover Black and Zephyr only has a base prowess of 11 levels and 10 levels respectively. All because their Bloodlines provided them with a massive base prowess at the mortal phase.
Otherwise with their incomplete core, incomplete physique’s, their young age and the low mastery over their abilities, just battling creature’s 5 levels above them would’ve been there limit.
"You are being delusional worm! If you think you can kill us just because of you higher rank" Said Black his words rumbling through the air!.
He was completely looking down on Ava’ross despite being aware of the strength disparity they shared. His Proginetor’s arrogance was also slowly acting up because of his erratic emotions for obvious reasons making him completely disregard the threat posed by Ava’ross to both his and Zephyr life.
With an amused expression, Ava’ross replied, "Although I don’t know what thod you used to kill my minions in such a... unique or bizarre manner!" As he spoke he looked at the fragnted remains of his undead army.
Then he shifted his attention towards zephyr, "yet I atleast know that this was done by a mysterious poison that this girl used... though I’ve to say I too am quiet intrigued and curious to learn about that mysterious poison unique to her since it was able to allude my senses as a nether spirit. Who themselves are masters of poisen to began with."
Then he again shifted his attention towards Black, regarding him with a triumphant look, he opened his mouth, "Nonetheless if the reason for you arrogance is that poison this girl used and you are thinking of using that poison against , then I’ve to disappoint you.. Since by the virtue of being a nether spirit, I have quiet a strong resistance towards most of the poisons below my rank.. Hahaha... And if by so miracle her poison dose work on ! I’ll be able to neutralize it completely anyway using my higher level... "
"So you two brats are being delusional if you think you can win against or escape from ! Since I would never let such rare specin’s slip out of my hands! Hahaha... " He finished.
Then he spread his hands wide and looked at them again, his eyes glazed with desire and continued, "My ti has finally co at last! The Heavens are finally smiling upon ! Those basterds who Ridiculed ! Mocked ! Calling a disgrace as a nether spirit will finally bow before ! Such a huge haven sent opportunity! I’ll definitely make you both my eternal slaves... Hahaha!" He shouted, his expression mirroring his eyes. He was totally lost in his own imagination! In his own world of desire.
After completing his absurd monologue he slowly started descending towards the ground.
However he had only travelling half way through when he suddenly disappeared and like the speed of light appeared before Black.
*Swish... *
"Wh- " Black didn’t even have ti to react to Ava’ross sudden acceleration.
When just as suddenly a solid fist landed on his face, sending him flying backward like a kite with its strings cut.
*Boom... *
He directly crashed into one of the many tall trees behind him with a loud boom causing it to completely shatter upon impact.
*Crack... * *Crack... * *Crack... *
*Cough... *
*Cough... *
"Black... "
