"Not at all, today I’ve really been worried sick because of you."

Jane Quinlan frowned, "? What did I do now?"

Kay Forrest rubbed his temples, "You don’t need to know. Just rember that I’m your benefactor."

Jane Quinlan pursed her lips. He sure likes to take credit where it’s due and then so.

But fine, let him be.

"There’s nothing going on outside this morning, but there are two docunts that need your signature. Take a look."

She took the files out of her notebook and placed them on the table.

Kay Forrest picked up the files for a glance when his phone started ringing like crazy.

He glanced at it and then put the phone face down on the table, letting it ring.

Seeing he wasn’t answering, Jane Quinlan asked, "Why aren’t you answering?"

"It’s not an important call."

Jane Quinlan pouted. She had just seen the na ’Dad’ on the phone.

Kay Forrest quickly finished reading and signed the docunts.

As Jane Quinlan was about to leave with the docunts, his phone rang again. Kay Forrest didn’t even look at it: "Alright, you go ahead with your work. I’m going to take a nap. Co get if sothing cos up."

She nodded and headed out with the files.

But at the door, she turned back, "Are you not on good terms with your dad?"

Kay Forrest raised an eyebrow, "Why?"

"Well... your mom’s not around anymore, is she? I suddenly thought of Sue.

Sue was also raised by her dad, who played both mom and dad roles.

Last night, Sue told , the person she admires most in the world is her dad.

Because she only has him."

"Sue is just a child," Kay Forrest rolled his eyes at her.

Can that be the sa? He’s a grown man.

Is he supposed to go around saying he admires his dad the most? What a joke.

"But you’re already an adult. So things, you should understand better than Sue.

You have your dad now, and in the future, you’ll have your own family and children.

But your dad only has you. You might find him annoying, but he’s the only person in the world who wouldn’t harm you and truly cares for you.

Maybe... the way you father and son love each other is sothing we don’t understand, but I think the best love in the world is to express it loudly by saying ’I love you.’

That’s more precious than any money, property, or luxury car."

Kay Forrest stared at her. Many people had advised him to improve his relationship with his dad.

Perhaps it was Jane Quinlan who analyzed these relationships so emotionally.

He hesitated for a mont, and the phone had already stopped ringing.

Jane Quinlan smiled softly, "I only make friends with people who are filial, so don’t do this again."

After saying this, she glanced at the phone on the desk and turned to leave.

Kay Forrest smiled speechlessly, he actually got lectured by a little girl.

But... she was right, he and his dad just love each other in different ways.

Kay Forrest picked up the phone and dialed back.

"Hello, Dad, sorry, I had soone in my office just now, what’s up?"

"How did the matchmaking go?" Grayson Forrest always got straight to the point with his son.

Without thinking, Kay Forrest replied, "Didn’t they tell you over there? I think she should have made quite an elaborate report."

"Well, they did say a lot, but I want to hear it from you.

I don’t want to just believe one side of the story."

Kay Forrest smiled. At least his dad had so wisdom.

"Dad, no matter what she said, I just felt we’re not compatible.

Back in high school, we dated for a while, but later she secretly hooked up with soone at a hotel.

That’s sothing I can’t accept or tolerate."

"Why didn’t you tell this earlier?

If you don’t think she’s suitable, why et her from the start?"

Kay Forrest snickered, "Don’t you know your own son?

I’ve been holding onto this grudge for a long ti; that was the first ti I got played by a woman.

What I did last night was just a bit of revenge, so I don’t think I went overboard.

I hope you understand."

Grayson Forrest paused for a mont before nodding, "Alright, I won’t pursue this matter any further.

They said you’re with a poor and ugly woman now; what’s that about?"

"Poor and ugly?" Kay Forrest smiled speechlessly, "That must be the only descriptive words that educated woman can co up with.

Forget it, I couldn’t be bothered to talk about her. I do have a girl around now.

Her family background is quite ordinary, but she’s a nice person.

We’re really good friends; she just helped put on an act last night."
