Yi Luowa’s hocoming treatnt was like a queen returning to her palace.

When getting into the car, her mother-in-law supported her right hand, while her husband held her left hand. After settling on the big sofa, there was a family doctor standing by, ready for her command at any mont.

Long Che, worried that reaching for fruit might be inconvenient for her, moved all three fruit platters on the coffee table closer to her.

Yi Luowa glanced awkwardly at Tong Airui. These past few days, while staying at the back courtyard, he had been taking care of her to the point of not letting her lift a finger, even forbidding her from serving herself als. Now, her father-in-law and mother-in-law were following suit. She joked to herself that she’d soon beco completely spoiled.

Tong Yao gently patted the back of her hand and said with a smile, "Luowa, is there anything special you’d like to eat? When we get back, Mom will personally cook it for you."

Yi Luowa quickly shook her head. "Mom, I’m fine with anything, no need to go out of your way for ."

Long Che chid in with a grin, "No need for your mom to cook; Dad will get you a nutritionist and chef. They’ll be ready at your service when we get ho."

Tong Yao glanced at Long Che. "When did you arrange all this? Isn’t this sothing I should’ve done?"

"By the ti you do it, the food would’ve gone cold," Long Che sighed. "Back when you were pregnant, your dad took care of everything, leaving with no chance to share in the joy. This ti, I’m handling everything for Luowa—no one else gets to ddle. If you’re itching to take charge, go handle Connie’s matters instead."

Tong Yao smirked in exasperation. "Fine, it’s all yours! You’ve picked up all my dad’s habits!"

Long Che laughed. "Look at your mom; she even admits your great-uncle wasn’t exactly..."

Long Che’s words abruptly halted. Yi Luowa looked at him, puzzled. Long Che pointed at Tong Yao, "Your mom’s glaring at !"

Yi Luowa turned to Tong Yao, who imdiately softened her sharp gaze. "Ignore your dad; the older he gets, the more ridiculous he becos!"

Yi Luowa leaned on Tong Yao’s shoulder and burst into laughter.

As the car entered the third-ring roundabout, it jolted slightly. Although not severe, Long Che’s face changed imdiately. "Rui’er, go tell Dayuan to keep the car speed within forty miles per hour!"

Tong Airui didn’t dare waste any ti and quickly headed to the driver’s cabin. Even before he returned, the car had slowed down. The enormous RV moved along the road like a sluggish old ox, forcing the cars trailing it to slow their pace as well.

They arrived ho over thirty minutes later than usual. This made Lady Jing Ya anxious; the elderly couple had even co to wait at the front gates.

Seeing her grandparents eagerly awaiting their arrival, Yi Luowa’s eyes reddened slightly, almost tearing up. Who said she was pitiful for not having a mother? She had grandparents, parents, and even an uncle—so many people who loved her. She wasn’t pitiful; she was beyond blessed!

Yi Luowa sniffed and said, "Honey, go help Grandpa and Grandma up; don’t let them walk back on their own."

Tong Airui nodded. He was genuinely moved; he hadn’t expected everyone to care so much about his wife and their unborn child.

Once the car stopped, Tong Airui and Tong Yao got out and supported the elderly couple as they got in.

As soon as Lady Jing Ya was inside, she began inspecting Yi Luowa’s complexion. "I heard you had to get a shot, but looking at you now, your face seems fine. At least my worry can rest a little."

Prince Charles chuckled. "I’ve been telling you, Luowa is a fortunate child who won’t let you fret. But you never listen to ."

"I can’t be at ease until I see it for myself," Lady Jing Ya responded with a laugh. She walked over and noticed Yi Luowa was about to stand. She quickly said, "Sit tight, don’t move; Grandma will co sit beside you."

Yi Luowa smiled and said, "Grandma, I’m fine. You don’t need to be so nervous about ."

"After a scare like that, we have to be extra careful," Lady Jing Ya replied warmly as she sat down and took Yi Luowa’s hand. Her eyes finally landed on the younger woman’s belly. "How far along are you?"

Yi Luowa’s cheeks flushed. "Almost fifty days now."

"Wonderful! Wonderful! That ans I’ll get to et my great-grandchild next July!"

Tong Airui grinned mischievously. "Grandma, you’ll actually et another great-grandchild in May."

Lady Jing Ya gently swatted his hand with a smile. "Ah, that one’s your Grandma Mike’s biological great-grandchild; I’m happy, and I’ll definitely dote on him or her, but my joy mainly cos from rooting for Grandma Mike. Luowa’s baby is the genuine direct heir of our Audley family!"

Tong Airui grinned. "Grandma, Dad made a divine proclamation and said my wife is carrying a girl! Don’t be disappointed when the ti cos."

Lady Jing Ya laughed, "Our family needs girls; if Luowa can give us a little princess, all the better."

Yi Luowa scratched her head and laughed. "The pressure seems kind of big."

Tong Yao affectionately ruffled her hair. "Don’t feel pressured; whether it’s a boy or girl, Mom will love them equally!"

Yi Luowa giggled, "Mom, I wish I could be like you. You settled everything in one go!"

"You know, you might just pull it off! Our family has that gene," Long Che said with a chuckle as he glanced out the window. "Luowa, the car’s about to stop; hold on tight."

"Okay," Yi Luowa replied obediently. In truth, it wasn’t a big deal; her father-in-law was simply overly cautious about her, so she decided to follow suit and not let the family worry about her.

Tong Yao reached out to steady her daughter-in-law. "Did you tell your second uncle yet?"

Yi Luowa shook her head. "Not yet—I didn’t want him to get too nervous. When we were on the phone earlier, I only ntioned the plan to pick up Ao Lie."

Tong Yao scolded her teasingly, "You little rascal! Call your second uncle later and bring him so joy too. If he ends up being the last to know, he’ll get upset!"

Yi Luowa playfully saluted. "Yes, ma’am! I’ll call my second uncle as soon as I step out of the car, Mother Dearest!"

Tong Yao laughed and patted her arm. "You’re about to be a mom yourself, yet you’re still so cheeky!"

The car slowed to a stop, and Tong Airui helped Yi Luowa get off.

No sooner had they entered the house than the butler approached. "Pri Minister, the bedroom has been prepared. The chef and nutritionist are also here."

Long Che raised an eyebrow and opened the master bedroom door for a quick glance. Satisfied with the setup, he nodded approvingly. "Go bring the chef and nutritionist to in the study."

The butler nodded and quickly left.

"Rui’er, after such a long car ride, help Luowa rest in the room," Long Che reminded on his way out.

"Your father has seriously gotten nosier with age!" Tong Yao laughed and shook her head. She turned to her son. "Quick, help Luowa get settled. Otherwise, when he cos out again, he’ll start nagging you."

Yi Luowa smiled sweetly at Tong Airui. "I’ll go in by myself. You haven’t been ho in days—go spend so ti chatting with Grandpa, Grandma, and Mom. I’ll lie down for a bit and co out soon."

Tong Airui was unwilling to leave her alone, so he walked her into the bedroom, helped her take off her shoes, changed her into comfortable loungewear, and ensured she was settled in bed before stepping out.

As soon as Tong Airui left the room, Tong Aino and Connie returned.

When Tong Aino saw his brother, his face imdiately turned sullen. "Where’s your wife?"

"What does my wife have to do with you?" Tong Airui shot him a glare.

Tong Aino scrunched his brows. "Bro, can you manage my sister-in-law a bit? She’s stolen eight championships from already!"

Tong Airui chuckled, "Next ti your sister-in-law signs up for a race, just don’t sign up yourself!"

Tong Aino puffed his cheeks indignantly. "The problem is, she participates in every single race. I just got notified—your military’s racing team has signed up for this year’s international race. I swear your wife is determined to kill !"

Tong Airui glanced at him sideways. "Yes, they registered, but your sister-in-law isn’t participating. Starting now, you’ve got ten months to claim championships. After that, I can’t help you anymore."

Tong Aino froze. "What’s going on?"

Tong Airui puffed up proudly. "Your sister-in-law is expecting!"

Tong Aino and Connie instantly froze. As Tong Airui counted to three in his head, Tong Aino blinked first. He reached out to nudge Connie, who jolted back to awareness, and the two exchanged glances before bursting into laughter.

Tong Airui looked at his younger brother suspiciously. Was this fool so shocked he’d lost his mind?

Suddenly, Tong Aino lifted Connie and spun her around in circles. "Honey, we’re finally free! Go sign up—hurry and sign up!"

Tong Airui frowned slightly and turned to his mom. "Mom, is your younger son crazy?"

Connie’s face flushed bright red, struggling free from Tong Aino’s embrace and hopping back down.

Tong Yao glanced at the pair and smiled. "Connie always felt she hadn’t learned enough and wanted ti to further her studies. But your dad insisted they have a baby, so she hadn’t ntioned it. This ti, Connie really is free!"

Tong Airui’s lips twitched. "Tong Lao Wu, after doing you such a big favor, aren’t you even going to thank ?"

Tong Aino shot him a disdainful look. "If I’m thanking anyone, it’s my sister-in-law—the baby’s in her belly."

Connie lightly smacked his arm, chuckling as she turned to Tong Yao. "Mom, where’s my sister-in-law? I’d like to go check on her."

"She’s in the bedroom next to your grandma’s. Go ahead—before you arrived, she was ntioning how much she missed you."

Connie eagerly nodded, pulling Tong Aino along to Yi Luowa’s new bedroom.
