"Nobody dares to defy you! Look at you, your temper was just getting better these past few years, and now you’re reverting back. Such a minor issue, and you’ve made the house a ss." Yi Luowa tilted her head to look at Yi Weiyang, "Your reaction right now proves that you’re definitely conflicted deep down. And why are you conflicted? You know better than I do. Think about it carefully tonight if you can’t sleep!"

"Yi Luowa, how dare you talk to like this again! Do you think now that you’re married, I won’t dare to hit you?" Yi Weiyang clenched his fists in anger.

Aunt Li quickly pulled Yi Luowa aside, "Luowa, say less."

"Aunt Li, even if I say less, it won’t wake up my second uncle. Let him hit . If hitting will make him feel better, it’s worth it. Best would be, after hitting , he cos to terms with his own feelings."

"You little brat!" Yi Weiyang cracked his knuckles in frustration.

Huo Li dashed out of the room and positioned herself protectively in front of Yi Luowa. "If you’re going to hit anyone, hit ! Don’t you dare touch Luowa!"

"Go get the master!" Uncle Li hurriedly shouted toward the door.

The veins on Yi Weiyang’s forehead bulged and pulsed as he tried to rein in his temper. He turned and sat heavily on the sofa.

Yi Luowa puckered her lips and walked over to him. Seeing he was ignoring her, she sat down beside him with a playful smile. "Second Uncle, are you really mad?"

Yi Weiyang let out a snort and turned his face away.

Yi Luowa stood up, moved to the other side, bent down to look at him, and grinned. "Isn’t it your fault I turned out like this? You’ve really brought this on yourself... How did I end up making you angry again after talking to you?"

Yi Luowa slapped her own face lightly with a laugh. "There, there~ Don’t be mad. I know you couldn’t bear to hit , so I hit myself for you."

Yi Weiyang shot her a disgruntled glance and turned his head back again.

Yi Luowa grinned and popped up in front of him once more. "Angry or not, you should still think about what I said. Also, I don’t approve the people you’re bringing into this house. If you keep doing that, I might just stop coming back to see you."

Yi Weiyang sneered, "You not coming back would be better! Then you wouldn’t annoy !"

"Fine, I really won’t co back then. Let’s see who misses !"

"It definitely won’t be ! Honestly, I don’t know how Airui has tolerated you for so long..." Yi Weiyang trailed off as Tong Airui entered the room.

Tong Airui walked over with a smile. "Second Uncle, did Luowa upset you?"

Yi Weiyang took a deep breath. "Airui, this child is spoiled rotten by . You need to keep her in check more often. Otherwise, one day, when she really loses her mind, she might even drive your parents crazy."

"She behaves at ho." Tong Airui smiled at Yi Weiyang, but as he turned to Yi Luowa, his face darkened. "Why are you pestering Second Uncle now?"

Yi Luowa pouted with an aggrieved expression. "He started it. He even wanted to hit ."

Yi Weiyang turned to her, "Could you stop making things up for once?"

"Everyone in the family can back up. You really wanted to hit !" Yi Luowa retorted, looking toward Uncle Li and Aunt Li.

Uncle Li quickly said, "I’ll go check on the kitchen."

" too," added Aunt Li, darting off faster than him.

Yi Luowa stifled a laugh and called out, "You two be careful, don’t hurt yourselves! Tell the kitchen to make so heat-relieving soup. This household is way too hot-tempered these days. If we don’t simr down, we might actually burn the place down."

Tong Airui sat down next to Yi Weiyang and pinched Yi Luowa’s hand. "You’ve made Second Uncle so mad, and you’re still laughing?"

"Should I cry instead?" Yi Luowa muttered, pouting again as she squeezed herself into the space between Tong Airui and Yi Weiyang.

Yi Weiyang shifted slightly to make room for her, but Yi Luowa imdiately hugged his arm tightly. "Even if I’m annoying, you’ll have to put up with . I can only co back once every ten days or so, and I really want to bond with you, but you’re always avoiding ."

Yi Weiyang grumbled, "With your way of bonding, I can’t handle it."

Yi Luowa pretended not to hear and turned to Huo Li, who was still standing awkwardly. "Co sit down. What are you waiting for? Do you want to invite you?"

Huo Li sat stiffly on the sofa opposite her.

Yi Luowa leaned her head against Yi Weiyang’s shoulder. "Second Uncle, I’ll take Huo Li with when I leave tomorrow. No need to let her keep annoying you."

"..." Yi Weiyang paused slightly but said nothing.

Yi Luowa glanced at Tong Airui. "Hubby, you’ve got so many people working under you. Any decent matches for Huo Li? My second uncle’s in a rush to see her married."

Tong Airui blinked once in surprise. Yi Luowa kept winking at him and added with a smile, "If Huo Li wants a boyfriend, she’s free to pick from the guys working under you."

"Then leave it to to bring a few suitable candidates tomorrow for her to choose from."

"All right." Tong Airui nodded with a smile.

"I..."

Huo Li started to speak, but Yi Luowa quickly glared at her. "Stay quiet!"

Yi Luowa sneaked a peek at Yi Weiyang. Seeing no reaction from him, she pursed her lips in frustration. Had she guessed wrong?

After dinner, Yi Luowa dragged Tong Airui out for a walk and recounted everything that had happened earlier.

Tong Airui was startled. "You’re saying Huo Li is in love with Second Uncle, and he might like her too?"

"Huo Li’s feelings are obvious. As for Second Uncle, that’s my guess. Think about it—if it were you, and you didn’t care about Huo Li at all, would you have reacted so strongly?"

Tong Airui thought for a mont. "I might not have thrown such a tantrum, but then again, everyone’s different."

"Since I can rember, my second uncle has never lost his temper like that, let alone broken things. Why else would he have such a reaction? Here’s my analysis: he likes Huo Li, but for various reasons, he can’t take that step. Huo Li, however, is pressing him hard. He’s stuck and frustrated, so all he can do is lash out to relieve his inner tension.

Don’t be fooled by Huo Li’s carefree appearance. She actually has a very attentive heart. Uncle Li keeps ntioning how well Huo Li takes care of Second Uncle—better than even him and Aunt Li. It’s the sa at work: she not only helps manage Second Uncle’s operations but also contributes plenty of creative ideas.

I believe in the saying that feelings develop over ti. With just a bit of cooperation from you and Huo Li, we’ll see within ten days if my guess is right. If Second Uncle likes Huo Li, we’ll help them. If not, at least I’ll know to advise Huo Li to give up sooner."

Tong Airui gave her a look. "Wife, wouldn’t it feel strange to call Huo Li your second aunt?"

"I did feel a bit weird when I first found out. But after listening to what Huo Li had to say, I decided that if Second Uncle truly likes her, I should support them. Honestly, having Huo Li take care of him would give more peace of mind than anyone else."

Tong Airui considered this and asked seriously, "What do you want to do to help?"

"Find soone around Second Uncle’s age, or even a bit older..." Yi Luowa leaned closer and whispered sothing in his ear.

Tong Airui almost burst out laughing when he heard it. "Second Uncle really spoiled you!"

Yi Luowa pouted. "It’s because he dotes on that I’m going through all this trouble!"

"Make sure Huo Li is on board with your plan. Without her cooperation, you won’t be able to pull it off."

"I’ll go find her now." Yi Luowa said, already turning to leave.

Tong Airui grabbed her hand. "Wife, I’ll follow your lead on everything. But don’t I deserve so kind of reward?"

Yi Luowa giggled, "Of course! Tonight, you can wash my feet!"

"I’d rather give you a bath!" Tong Airui playfully pinched her nose. "Go quickly, talk to Huo Li, and then co back early. After abandoning for so many days, you owe so proper attention."

"Okay, okay, I’ll be quick." Yi Luowa held his hand, and the two walked back into the living room.
