Jewel gently slid the door open and motioned Ariel to enter, "Go in my lady," he smiled at her.
Ariel nodded, "Thanks, Jewel, I'll see you after the eting," She replied and walked into the office.
"La assistant," Jewel muttered to himself when Gideon followed Ariel inside; he knew Gideon heard, and he was satisfied he did.
Inside the office, Ariel's nerves were all over the place as she used her peripheral vision to see Adien sitting at the head of the table, she could feel the eyes of the three n on her.
"Good morning, Ms. Ariel," Ken stood and greeted her, going over to Aiden's side to draw out a chair for her.
However, she simply responded with a "Good morning, gentlen," her heart pounding heavily with every step she took closer to the table; she went over to the side and settled down where no one was sitting. She eyed the space beside Aiden and looked away.
That used to be her position as his assistant in the past.
"Right. Ahem, Mr. Chaz, Mr. Jasper, this is Ms. Ariel, the owner of Jace Tech, and her assistant, Gideon," Ken introduced.
Ariel looked up at Japser and realized that he was also a very young man. She thought he'd be so kind of old man or middle-aged man, but it turned out he was a very young and handso man.
"Good morning, Ms. Ariel, it's the first ti I'm having a partnership with soone as beautiful as you are," Jasper comnted, smiling at her.
Ariel smiled, "Thank you, Mr. Jasper," She replied politely.
"Let's start," Aiden interrupted their short introduction, not liking the way Jasper was already speaking with Ariel.
He was aware that Ariel was avoiding him because of what happened between them last night, but the ignorance wasn't going to last; he would make sure of that.
"Right..." Ken cleared his throat and started to speak.
"Mr. Jasper had shown interest in both of your designs. Ms. Ariel, Mr. Chaz. He wants to create a dating app for all ages, all sexuality, and all races. He believes that he'd get the best designs and processing from you and is willing to spend just any amount to get it," Ken inford.
Jasper nodded and stood on the chair, "True, Ken; here's a list of what I want my app to have and features that should be made easily accessible. I want it to be so seamless and friendly for users," He placed a printed card in front of Aiden walked over to Ken, and handed him one before he dropped one in front of Ariel and Gideon.
Gideon slid it closer to himself, taking a closer look at it, he knew this was nothing for Ariel.
Ariel looked down at the card and smiled; from what she saw, Jasper just wanted sothing user-friendly, easy on the eyes, and classic at the sa ti.
"Making it so simple would make a lot of people lose interest, Jasper, I suggest we design it more like a premium app, not for everyone, only for those who could afford it," Aiden suggested.
Ariel locked eyes with him for a split second before turning to face Jasper.
"But, I don't want to make it look so expensive so people think they can't afford it, I just-"
"I'm sorry for interrupting, Mr. Jasper; my partner just has a unique taste in designs. You don't have to worry, we'll make your app just as you want it, mind you, it'll still be very expensive just that it won't look it, that way, people are more relaxed about spending more without feeling like they are forced to empty their wallet on so tight-looking dating app. We'll provide you with an effortless front-end and back-end, and users will definitely find the app to be more enjoyable than another dating app they've ever used," Ariel explained calmly with a professional smile.
Ken was left standing there and admiring Ariel, he was once again reminded that he once loved this majestic and intelligent woman, but that was before; now, he only admired her as a great friend and a strong woman; she was wonderful.
Jasper chuckled, "Aweso, you've just said exactly what I've always envisioned for my app; I'm impressed and can't wait for it to be ready," Jasper said, smiling in satisfaction.
Ariel nodded, "You will not be disappointed, Mr. Jasper. You've co to the right people. Mr. Chaz is known for delivering accurate work, and I'll make sure I do my part well; we're happy to have you," She replied.
Aiden didn't realize he'd been staring at Ariel from the mont she first explained how the app would be to Jasper. His eyes couldn't move away from her.
He felt proud to have her as a partner, and a...wife?
He stared at her lips, recalling how sweet it was when he kissed her last night, and he wanted to do it again and again; her face radiated with angelic beauty as she smiled at Jasper, making his heart skip a beat with how perfect she looked.
"Ken has my email; I'm sure he'd let know if there are any adjustnts to be made; I'm open and flexible; as long as it's coming from you, Ms. Ariel, whatever you decide would be magical," Japser stood and walked over to Ariel.
Ariel stood and walked out of her chair, giving Gideon the card Jasper had given her.
"It was nice eting you, Mr. Jasper," She offered him a handshake.
Jasper firmly shook her hand, smiling at her, "Please, you can call Jasper; apart from work, we're all friends here," He suggested.
Ariel nodded, slowly withdrawing her hand from him.
Aiden saw what was happening and stood, walking over to Japser, "Ken will keep you posted, Japser, it was a pleasure," He said as he subtly put himself between Ariel and Jasper.
"It was, Aiden; I'll see you around, my friend," Jasper nodded at Ariel and stepped back from him.
"That's all for now, Ken?" Ariel turned and asked Ken who was now standing beside Gideon.
"Yes, Ms. Ariel, that's the end of today's eting, we'll be waiting on your templates," Ken replied.
"You're leaving, Ariel? Mind if I walk you out?" Jasper asked.
"I-"
"No, I have a few things to discuss with my business partner," Aiden replied on her behalf, causing everyone to look at him in confusion, including Ariel.
"Right, I'll see you around, Ariel," Jasper nodded and walked out of the room.
"I guess we have to leave too," Ken said and held Gideon's hand.
"We do? Isn't it business?" Gideon asked, looking from Aiden to Ariel.
"Yes, Mr. Chaz, isn't it business?" She asked, daring him to reveal what he wanted to discuss.
Aiden smirked, "Well, it is, of you an that kind of business we d-"
"I think you guys should leave; Mr. Chaz is right; we need to talk exclusively," Ariel interrupted nervously, blinking her eyes in disbelief at what Aiden wanted to say.
"I'll wait for you, then," Gideon said as Kendraghed him out of the room.
"Yeah..." Ariel replied quietly, rubbing her hand over her arm.
Sothing told her Aiden wanted to do sothing very inappropriate with her in here.
The door slid closed, leaving just Ariel and Aiden in the eting room.
Aiden smiled, he slowly walked toward her and raised his hand to her face, but she stepped away from him.
"You said you wanted to talk about so business," She reminded with a frown.
Aiden chuckled, smirking, "Well, you should have let finish to find out just what kind of business I was talking about, Ariel," His voice was so low that it got Ariel curling her feet.
Ariel felt her cheek heating up; no, this wasn't what she wanted right now; she straightened up and looked up at him. "Mr. Chaz, Just-"
"Mr. Chaz?" He asked and suddenly drew her into his arms, caging her between his arms, "that wasn't what you called when you scread my na last night," He whispered beside her ear.
Ariel clenched her fists, feeling tingles spreading across her body.
"No words?" His mouth went closer to her face, his mouth hovering just above hers.
Ariel felt like she was trapped in her body, being that close to Aiden made her recall every mont between them last night. She was lost in those thoughts, and her body craved it again, her eyes fell on his lips and froze there.
Aiden dropped all jokes aside when he saw the look on her face, the look he'd dread about every night, the look he'd missed and he knew what it ant whenever she gave him that look.
"You can't get it out of your mind, right?" His thumbs caressed the side of her lips.
Ariel bit her lips, and slowly nodded, "Y-yes..." She whispered.
" neither," He breathed out.
Ariel slowly nodded, her hands gently holding his face, "Then..." She was breathing heavily, her eyes locked on his as she slowly pressed her lips on his.
