The doctor standing beside him thought that sothing was wrong with the papers and asked curiously, “Dr. Alex, is there sothing wrong?”
“No, I just saw soone I know.”
Jiang Jingnian handed the dical records to the man beside him. “Take this first. I’ll be right back.”
With that, he walked towards Jiang Yu.
Jiang Yu felt a shadow appear in front of her. Then, soone bent down and said gently, “Little Sister, is soone sick?”
Jiang Yu looked up. It was the strange man from the other day. The one who had been watching the show on the street.
He was dressed in a white lab coat. He looked gentle and elegant with a warm smile on his face. He looked approachable.
So, he was a doctor.
Jiang Yu looked down but did not see the naplate on his chest.
She focused and blurted out, “You work in this hospital?”
Jiang Jingnian shook his head. “Not really.”
“Exchange internship?”
“Sort of.”
Jiang Yu said straightforwardly, “Then, you ca and asked such a question. If soone in my family really is sick, what can you do about it?”
Her tone was straightforward but Jiang Jingnian wasn’t angry. He lowered his body even more and said, “Little Sister, I know people in this hospital. If you encounter any trouble, you can tell . Maybe I can help you.”
Jiang Yu asked back, “But why would you want to help ?”
Jiang Jingnian replied, “Because it’s an excellent Chinese tradition to be willing to help others. As a doctor, I can’t bear to see you wandering around here alone.”
No matter how she thought about it, it sounded like nonsense.
Jiang Yu subconsciously frowned.
When she got closer, she realized that behind the man’s gold-rimd glasses were a pair of seductive eyes.
The ends of his eyes were raised, and his eyes sparkled. They were extrely alluring.
No wonder he had to use a pair of glasses to hide them.
Jiang Yu wasn’t bewitched though. She raised her head and said to the man’s eyes, “The request I want to make, it is a little difficult to fulfill.”
Jiang Jingnian smiled and said, “Just say it. Don’t be afraid.”
His gentle voice sounded like he was coaxing a young girl who had lost her way or a patient who was in pain.
Jiang Yu suddenly had a feeling that when his patient and gentle with a patient would calm any anxious patient rather quickly.
Moreover, his face was very pleasing to the eye. However, he looked too young to be a chief physician.
Even so, Jiang Yu still voiced her thoughts, “I want to participate in the treatnt of the patient.”
Hearing this, Jiang Jingnian raised his eyebrows in surprise, “You know dicine?”
“Yes.”
“But from what I see, you’re still a student. You’re not an adult, right?”
“Yes.”
“If you’re not an adult, that ans you’re still in high school. As far as I know, high school only has biology classes, there are no specialized dical courses.”
Jiang Jingnian shook his head slightly, “Little Sister, Biology and dicine are two different things. You can’t mix them up. Even if you get good grades in biology, it doesn’t an that you can save patients. Studying dicine is a very long process. It’s not that simple.”
He still had a smile on his face and his tone didn’t sound degrading.
It was more like he was trying to coax Jiang Yu toward the truth.
Jiang Yu raised her lips.
“Regarding this, you can have a good talk with the doctors in the ergency room later and test to see if I have the qualifications.”
She had just finished speaking.
The ergency room door opened.
