In the end, Jiang Chenglang decided to pay a visit to Jiang Wan anyways.
When he arrived, the servant who opened the door was surprised to see him. He had to ask a few tis before the servant stamred that Miss Jiang Wan was resting in her bedroom.
Jiang Chenglang asked casually, “Is she sleeping?”
If she was asleep, it wouldn’t be a good ti for a visit. He would leave after taking a quick look at her.
That was what Jiang Chenglang had thought. However, as he approached the room, he heard voices coming from inside.
It was an unfamiliar female voice. “How can your big brother treat you this way? You’re so sick and your big brother doesn’t co to see you. Has he been that busy with work recently?”

Then, soone coughed a few tis. Jiang Wan said in a hoarse voice, “You know that I care about my reputation too much. I’m so down and out, why would I call you to see ? It’s so embarrassing.”
“Between close friends, what’s there to be embarrassed about?” Ni Manman disagreed. “Don’t try to stop . Give your phone. I’ll call your big brother right now and ask him to co and see you.”
“No, no, no!” Jiang Wan quickly stopped her. “I just have a fever. It’s not a serious illness. I’ll be fine soon. There’s no need to trouble anyone with such a small matter.”

He glanced at Ni Manman then his gaze fell on Jiang Wan. He saw that her face was pale and she had lost a lot of weight. She indeed looked very sick.
Jiang Chenglang frowned. “Wan Wan, how are you feeling? The doctor has been to see you, right? What did he say?”
Jiang Wan coughed twice and then whispered as if she was suppressing another cough, “The doctor said that I’ll be fine after a good rest. It’s not a problem. Big Brother, why are you here?”
She glanced at her friend and Ni Manman clarified, “I didn’t make the call. You haven’t even given your cell phone. I don’t have your Big Brother’s phone number, and I’ve just got here. I have not left your room, so there’s no way I could have told him.”
Jiang Wan said unhappily, “Then I know who it is. I already told her not to, I didn’t expect…”
She sighed and said, “Big Brother, I didn’t an to disturb you. I didn’t control the servants well. After you leave, I will talk to them again. If you are busy, perhaps you should head off first? Really, I’m okay.”
