A surge of energy blasted out from his being, spreading into the surroundings and knocking back everyone in range due to the shockwaves it released.
Even Anda who was high up in the sky was hit by these shockwaves as well.
The spatial barrier the Hybrid was keeping up flickered dangerously before disappearing altogether and so surviving dragons took the chance to run.
A haze of Azure blue energy, tinged with red hues billowed upwards, before swirling around and streaming into Jamie’s body as he closed his eyes and allowed it in.
The energy flowed through his body’s circuits, and into both his energy core and his soul in equal amounts and with equal speed.
More of the nodes around his soul were unlocked, and the energy continued moving, delving deep into it and awakening a purple-coloured orb of law energy, lighting it up halfway.
In his energy core, it felt like so scales surrounding it fell off and allowed more of his power to flow out from it.
What followed was silence.
The energy surging around him disappeared as abruptly as it had appeared. Jamie’s own energy fluctuations disappeared as well.
A few seconds passed like this, and Jamie opened his eyes.
However, instead of his clear blue irises, Jamie’s eyes had completely turned red.
Glowing crimson red.
The instant those red eyes looked at the world, the silence was broken.
***BOOMMMM!!!!!
A giant dragon’s body crashed down to the ground behind him, forming a deep crater in the earth and creating fissures that stretched out for hundreds of tres.
Standing atop this dragon’s body, was Jamie’s heterochromatic-eyed lover, who pointed her hand towards the creature and spoke.
[Pseudo-Authority of Sealing: Seal of Eternal Boundaries.]
Intricate patterns of shimring energy weaved around the dragon and ford an impenetrable web of ethereal chains, binding his energy and preventing any physical or taphysical escape.
His powers were also locked away and he was rendered dormant until the seal was released.
But by the ti the seal was complete, Miranda was already standing right behind Jamie with her right palm on his back as she spoke with a flat tone.
"Don’t ’Alternate’, Jamie."
"...I know."
Jamie finally spoke after a short silence, taking a handkerchief from his pocket to clean the blood on the side of his mouth as he did so.
He blinked montarily, and when his eyes opened up again, they had returned to their normal colour.
"Levelling up is going to be a chore after this."
"Of course, it’d be. You’re a Sovereign now, and just like before, your non-standardness would rear its head."
Miranda spoke as she took her hand off Jamie’s body, internally heaving a sigh of relief before continuing.
"Your exp’s gonna have to co from existences stronger than you."
Anything less than half Jamie’s current level simply just wasn’t going to give him any levelling exp, and with how much he needed to level up, things on his level range were not going to do much either.
"This is the hard part, huh?
Dealing with Ikerth would have to be done as an inferior Sovereign. If it cos down to it, I’d break out my ’Fifth Privilege’."
Jamie comnted as he deactivated his ’Unique’ skill, one that was a combination of the Privileges he possessed as an Envoy of ’Balance’.
Soone whose Inclination did not tip towards either the ’Ordered’ or ’Chaotic’ sides of the scale.
Both sides were in equilibrium.
And he liked things that way, especially how it affected his main existential aspects.
Due to this, not one aspect would be stronger than the other two. For example, so people were good at physical combat with their bodies, but were very horrible with spiritual-type attacks, or had ridiculously high energy levels and very weak bodies in turn.
Such things could not happen with Jamie.
If one aspect was to get stronger than the other two, then that Aspect was going to gradually pull the others up to match its level, making all three balanced once more.
Jamie then turned his gaze towards the thousands of eyes that had been staring at him and Miranda in silence.
It should not be forgotten that Miranda had just defeated and sealed Brambus, one of Ikerth’s Lieutenants who oversaw all Dragon Army-related matters in Oyend.
Then with Jamie’s strange skill which he used to massacre hundreds of dragons, Brambus’ son included, it stood to reason why both enemies and ’allies’ were looking at them gobsmacked.
But while they were looking at him, the man had his gaze facing the sky. Going high above the place Anda was floating, past the clouds, the atmosphere and through space itself.
He looked right into the gaze of the being who was looking back at him from the natural satellite that orbited the planet Zotov.
"Mira, what was the na of this world’s Race King, and how popular are they."
"Terrion is his na. Popularity-wise, it’s hard to find soone who does not know him in the Liberation Front."
"What about his epithets?"
"Um...gim a sec."
Miranda took a mont to check her phone before answering.
"His most popular one is the Iron Sorcerer."
"Sorcerer? Perfect."
Jamie grinned as he stomped his foot on the ground, causing the earth to tremble lightly, before a star-shaped pillar rose up from beneath his feet, sending him high up into the air.
With his hands raised, he used magic to conjure an array of tallic spears that hovered in the air, aid towards the remnants of the Fusevale Bastille’s Dragon Army.
"Chosen Champions of Zotov! The power of the ’Iron Sorcerer Terion’ is with us! Today, we shall erge victorious against the invaders and ’Liberate’ Oyend!!"
His amplified voice, resonating with the power of the universal law of sound, reverberated not only through Fusevale but also across the entirety of Ridrea.
Its captivating cadence held an irresistible allure that instilled unwavering belief in what he said.
Roars of cheers erupted all over, a resounding chorus of courage as they rallied to rout the remaining Dragons with newfound vigour.
Although Anda, Trisgella and the other Liberation Front Higher-ups were montarily flummoxed by Jamie’s statent, they quickly noticed a thin layer of energy coating their bodies a mont later.
"This..."
Anda muttered with surprise as he recognized the energy of the universal law of tal surrounding him, and when he looked down at the rallying soldiers, he noticed the sa on them.
Swords glead with a silvery light, their strikes becoming more precise and devastating. Arrows flew true and found their marks with unerring accuracy.
Jamie launched the spears at so unfortunate dragons before jumping back to the ground, landing beside Miranda who looked at him with narrowed eyes.
"Scam."
"Pfft..."
Jamie barely held in his laughter upon hearing her comnt, looking at the reinvigorated soldiers around them and speaking.
"It was effective was it not? And besides, the guy actually helped out."
Indeed, the buff that was now applied on the soldiers wasn’t cast by Jamie or Miranda, but by Terrion himself who had seen Jamie’s little speech that invoked his na.
"All’s well that ends well."
He shrugged his shoulders as he turned around and faced the sealed High dragon on the ground not too far from him.
"Now then, about this guy..."
