Feeling the mounting pressure, Orikar Jr. hurriedly activated another summoning circle, pouring even more magic power into it.
"Co forth, Thunderbird!"
A massive thunderbird materialized in the sky, its brilliant blue feathers crackling with lightning. Law energy gathered in the air as it prepared to unleash a devastating lightning storm on all of Jamie’s summons.
But the instant it spread its wings, three attacks converged on it simultaneously.
Glox stomped his foot into the earth, and behind him, a massive shoot burst from the ground, rapidly growing into a towering flower. As the petals unfurled, a blinding beam of energy shot forth, tearing through the sky toward the thunderbird.
Magruk threw a hand into the air, and dozens of massive earth spears erupted from the ground, launching straight toward the bird at supersonic speed.
At the sa ti, Vuzashi swung his great sword, releasing a massive arc of sword law energy that tore through the air as it soared toward the target.
The three attacks collided with the thunderbird simultaneously, obliterating it instantly.
Its screech was cut short, its body disintegrating into dissipating magic particles.
Silence fell.
The spectators could only stare, expressions frozen in pure shock.
A famous summoner like Orikar Jr. had his summons wiped out so effortlessly that it almost felt unfair.
Orikar himself, couldn’t believe his eyes.
His mind struggled to process what had just happened, yet the harsh reality before him could not be denied.
He had poured half of his total energy into summoning those creatures, reinforcing them with powerful buffs. And yet, despite all of that, Jamie’s summons had torn through them like paper, as if the enhancents ant nothing.
He gritted his teeth, and tightened his fists, his nails digging into his palms.
"I have no choice," he muttered under his breath, his voice filled with seething irritation.
’This monster has to go!’
With that, he raised his hands and a surge of powerful magic power erupted from his soul and flowed out of his body.
A colossal summoning circle blazed to life before him, its runes pulsing violently as he poured everything he had left into the spell—calling forth an existence he should NOT be able to summon.
Suddenly, a wave of existential dread slamd into everyone below Transcendence, an oppressive, unnatural pressure gripping their souls.
Above the summoning circle, space itself cracked open.
From the fissure, a black, viscous liquid began to seep out, and the mont Vuzashi and Magruk sensed it, they imdiately backed away, their eyes glowing as they instinctively tried to channel their full power.
Then, two clawed hands erged from the rift, stretching outward to widen the rift, revealing the existence beyond.
Jamie’s eyes widened, his usual composure montarily breaking.
Yes—Jamie was shocked.
"...I expected sothing," he murmured. "But I certainly did not expect THIS."
From the widening rift, a kilotre-long serpentine creature coated in pure darkness so deep it seed to devour the very light around it slithered out.
Its scales weren’t scales at all, but shifting shadows, warping and distorting reality as they moved.
The mont its massive tail touched the ground, the earth blackened and decayed, reduced to lifeless dust in an instant.
Seeing the phenonon caused by this creature—a Void Leviathan—, Vuzashi cursed aloud.
[Oi, Jamie, what the fuck?! That thing’s not sothing we can handle in our limited forms like this.
It’s a creature above Transcendence, only being forcefully limited to Transcendence by this summoning!]
[If you want us to take that thing on, release our limiters.]
Magruk followed up after Vuzashi spoke, and Jamie pressed his fingers to his temple and sighed.
"Co on, don’t you think I already realized that?"
Then, his gaze shifted to Orikar Jr. and he asked.
"So, it seems you aren’t gonna hide it anymore, huh?"
His voice had regained its calm, his usual smirk appearing as he continued speaking.
"I knew if I pushed you to the brink, you’d snap and do sothing reckless—sothing that would allow to confirm my conjecture.
And you just did. Isn’t that right... ’Orikar’?"
Jamie’s manner of address did not go unnoticed.
The Planet Lord who was watching the situation with narrowed eyes, imdiately caught onto it. His gaze flicked to the empty seat beside him, then back to Jamie, a deep frown settling on his face.
’Is it really... him?’
His conjecture was both wrong and right at the sa ti.
Jamie had called the person before him Orikar—not Orikar Jr.
Naturally, there was a reason for that.
Jamie was certain that while the body standing before him belonged to Orikar Jr., the soul inside it did not.
Instead, it was occupied by soone else—Orikar Sr., for convenience’s sake.
The sa Orikar who had discovered Wanete earlier today.
Jamie had realized that it was him from the start of the match.
"I’m guessing that’s why you nad him after yourself. So, you could use this technique."
Jamie spoke aloud, nodding to himself while Orikar remained silent.
"You might think this technique—Na Sharing—is rare, but it really isn’t."
Na Sharing techniques allowed two individuals who bore the sa na to use certain spells and techniques together.
Here, it was a summoning-type technique being used.
Because Orikar and Orikar Jr. shared a na, one could summon themselves into the other’s body—so long as there was mutual consent.
The way Jamie saw it, Orikar Jr. had summoned Orikar Sr. into his body.
And naturally, that ant Orikar Jr. was now in Orikar Sr.’s body.
’But he’s likely unconscious. A Transcendent Soul cannot easily operate the body of a Mid-Tier Deity, after all.’
Despite the revelation, Orikar simply stared at Jamie, his expression unreadable.
Then, he spoke.
"So what? You have no proof."
Without wasting another second, he turned to the Void Leviathan and gave a command.
"Kill him."
But the Void Leviathan did not move.
It simply remained where it was, silent, unresponsive.
A confused expression appeared on Orikar’s face, but he quickly shook it off and repeated the command—this ti, nearly shouting.
"I said, KILL HIM!"
Yet, the Void Leviathan ignored him.
A tense silence settled over the entire arena.
Even Glox and the White Tiger, who had been locked in battle, had sensed the instinctive danger that the unmoving creature before them presented and backed away from each other.
Still, the Void Leviathan did nothing but simply stare at Jamie.
And eting its gaze, Jamie suddenly laughed and spoke in his True Voice.

Everyone was stunned.
Why wasn’t the Void Leviathan attacking?
Most were already shocked by its sudden appearance—after all, even those who didn’t know what a Void Leviathan was could instinctively tell that it was sothing DANGEROUS.
But why wasn’t it listening to Orikar who had summoned it?
They couldn’t understand.
Jamie, on the other hand, knew exactly why.
And honestly, if anyone thought about Jamie’s powers and skills, they’d realise it too.
Jamie possessed the power to control the Void. This creature before him was a Void Leviathan.
It could sense the superior Void power Jamie possessed, recognizing him as sothing akin to a higher Void existence.
It was similar to the hierarchy of demons—unless they were actively courting death, or had the backing of sothing imnse, a Low-Rank demon wouldn’t dare to attack a Demon King.
In this case, the Void Leviathan wasn’t quite Low-Rank, but more of a Mid-Rank equivalent—and Jamie was the Demon King in this scenario.
It simply wasn’t suicidal enough to attack him. That was why it remained silent.
Jamie, on the other hand, had no such hesitation.
He cut his index finger and pressed it to the air, tracing a new magic circle with his blood as the dium. A torrent of hot magic power erupted from it, surging through the air as Jamie spoke with finality.
"I’ve had my fun. Ti to end this."
With a snap of his fingers, an identical magic circle materialized high above, its runes igniting with a fierce glow.
In an instant, the planet’s ambient temperature skyrocketed, leaving mortals drenched in sweat, their bodies drained and weakened, barely able to move.
The world grew hot and blindingly bright.
It was as if the sun itself had drawn closer—and then, before the spectators’ eyes, a second sun appeared in the sky.
’Flas eternal, rise anew.
From ruin to rebirth, let the cycle turn.
All shall return to ashes, and be born again from the ashes.’
And then, in his True Voice, Jamie completed his chant aloud.

When they heard the na Jamie called out, both Vuzashi and Magruk shot him incredulous looks, their expressions screaming: "This fucking lunatic!"
Nevertheless, there was nothing they could do about it.
They looked up to see a blinding eruption of fire splitting the sky apart, and from within the inferno, a colossal phoenix erged, its form wreathed in undying flas. Towering at nearly 200 ters tall, with a staggering wingspan of 500 ters, its sheer presence dwarfed everything below.
The pressure of its existence alone shattered the arena’s protective barrier, sending fragnts of disintegrating energy scattering into the air.
Its wings stretched wide, blazing like the wrath of a star, and the oppressive heat of its overwhelming magic power reached the furthest edges of the Elytherion, making the ground smoulder.
Despite being physically smaller than the Void Leviathan Orikar summoned, the power it exuded was far greater.
Orikar, realizing the catastrophic level of power before him, imdiately lifted the restraints on the Void Leviathan, allowing it to wield its full power.
Jamie, however, had never restrained the Phoenix in the first place. A wicked grin stretched across his face as he gave a simple command.
"Roast that snake."
The phoenix let out a shrill, earth-shaking screech, its fiery cry reverberating through the entire planet.
In response, the Void Leviathan roared, its body coiling as it lunged at the fiery beast.
The Leviathan didn’t attack Jamie because of his Void Power, but everyone else was fair ga. The Phoenix seed to sense this, and its flas burned brighter as it bellowed in a contempt-filled voice.

The Void Leviathan imdiately snapped back.

The Phoenix’s rage ignited.
Phoenixes, as a species, despised being called ’birds’ just as much as dragons loathed being called ’lizards’.
Enraged, the phoenix unleashed hellfire, its flas pouring down like a storm of molten wrath. The entire battlefield lted, the surrounding landscape reduced to molten rivers and cracked, burning earth.
The sheer heat and energy waves alone obliterated every single one of Orikar’s remaining summons.
Jamie, unfazed by this, unsummoned Glox before cancelling both Magruk and Vuzashi’s summoning.
As their bodies began to fade, they were both struck by the realisation that Jamie had not given either of them the sword he promised.
Their expressions twisted in betrayal, but before they could voice their outrage, Jamie—with an utterly unrepentant grin—shoved them into the spatial channel, sealing their exit.
Oh, he knew they’d be pissed the next ti he saw them.
But, frankly? He didn’t care.
He had never planned on giving either of them the sword in the first place.
