"Co on, don’t be a cryptic asshole."
Vlad nearly fell from the tree branch as he heard Jormungandr’s blunt reply to his mysterious response.
"You little shit! Is that how you treat your boss?"
Imdiately, Vlad grabbed the small yellow cat and began to pinch his cheeks.
"Ah, animal cruelty!"
"¡Hahahaha!"
Vlad only smiled as he saw that the small yellow cat’s attitude hadn’t changed much, even after gaining intelligence and wisdom.
"Okay, okay. Well, to begin with, I transferred a piece of my soul through the 7 Sins Ritual to you, giving you my soul’s gluttony and generating a soul bond between us. That restored your soul and body, allowing you to co back to life as a mber of the Depravita Race, which is why your body is stronger than before. However, I didn’t give you wisdom; that was the Plane Will."
"7 Sins Ritual? Depravita Race? Plane Will?"
Jormungandr’s eyes seed to revolve as he had no idea what any of these new terms referred to.
Vlad realized his mistake and paused as he stared at the small cat, arranging his ideas before starting again.
"Okay, first of all, I’ll explain what just happened to Terra, our world. After billions of years of existence, the world finally awakened its will. Once that happens to a world, they have two choices: to remain static, a watcher of the universe incapable of any progress and wait until the end of its life, or they can aim to rise to a higher dinsion of existence, where they can evolve."
Jormungandr’s eyes widened as he heard that, remaining silent, waiting for the explanation to continue.
"Terra chose the path of evolution, becoming a New Plane. It is currently on its path to the higher dinsion of existence, carrying all of us with it. Unfortunately, just like it is the fate of any New Plane, Terra encountered all sorts of problems.
The laws of physics that once ruled all of its existence beco obsolete, pushing its civilization back to the bow and sword age. However, the main threat is the greed of other planes in that higher dinsion of existence.
It’s extrely hard to attack a New Plane amid its ascension, but not impossible, and it seems Abyss and Heaven have targeted us. While at the mont they can only send Mortals, life forms between Level 0 and 5, the closer we get to completing our ascension, the easier it would be for them to send stronger warriors. Of course, there are sotis anomalies like that Champion Abyssal Mantis."
Jormungandr could understand the danger they were facing. He still rembered the speed and strength of the Abyssal Mantis. If Terra still had its army, they could fight back using military might, but it had given up its technological advancent in pursuit of evolution.
"What are they after?"
"Their goals are plenty, either enslaving us, eating us, harvesting the natural resources of Terra. However, their ultimate goal is the Origin Force of the world."
Vlad paused at this point, and after seeing that Jormungandr was entirely focused, he continued.
"Origin Force, as its na suggests, is the universe’s pri energy source. It’s not only incredibly powerful, but its uses are endless. It can transform into anything and be used as the catalyst for any skill or spell. The only limit to the uses of Origin Force is your knowledge.
Origin Force was the power the Plane Will used to open the Soul Dinsion for the human race. Since you have a piece of my soul, Terra recognized you as a human, opening your Soul Dinsion and enhancing your wisdom.
The Plane Will gives us a piece of it whenever we do sothing that helps the plane, such as killing Aliens, either abyssal demons or angels.
We are ant to use that power to enhance our Levels, rising to beco greater warriors and Guardians of the plane."
"Wow, boss, you learned all that from your previous life mories?"
Jormungandr’s eyes were sparkling and full of awe as he stared at Vlad, amazed at such wisdom and intelligence, but the young man shook his head.
"Everything I told you was sothing I obtained from the mories of Asmael, the Level 5 angel that attempted to consu my soul but ended up having his consud instead."
