Chapter 19

Anhao then looked at her results from a few years ago. There was a photo of her from five years ago on the first page, she still had long hair at that ti.

The man’s voice was so close to her. He was right behind her. Anhao turned to look at him and saw Zuo Hancheng’s clear and deep eyes.

She acted indifferently. “I thought that you already know all of my bad records? Why are you still using that tone with ?”

“You’re rather unperturbed, huh?” Zuo Hancheng scoffed. “With that look of yours and that punk rock style you had, without your school uniform, where did you even get the courage to flirt with those boys?”

Anhao rely rolled her eyes and changed the subject, “By the way, the principal called just now.”

“Hmm?” The owner of the voice was clearly unhappy with the way she diverged the topic.

“The principal said that the parents of the Xu family want to apologize personally, but because they have no way of contacting you, they asked him to call , and wanted to ask you if you would give them a chance to apologize…”

Anhao was perplexed as she stared at him. “Now that I think about it this is strange, they were the ones who wronged , why are they apologizing to you? You’re not the mayor, why are they so scared of you?”

“Apologize?” Zuo Hancheng lightly glanced at her. “Do you need it?”

“Of course I do.” Anhao said boldly, “I don’t care how the police took care of the problem, in the end they’ve ruined my reputation in school! If they want to apologize, they’ll have to do it in front of the whole school!”

“Do you still have a reputation in A High?”

“… Zuo Hancheng, in any case I’m still your wife. Can you at least say so nice things with that mouth of yours? I was hurt really badly two days ago in school, and now they’re prepared to compensate for the harm they’ve done to . I can’t turn them down!”

“I won’t et them.”

“Then how do I reply to the principal?”

“How you reply is your problem, you’re old enough so you should be able to figure that out, do I still need to teach you how to reject people?”

Anhao understood what he ant. The reason he went to the school that day was because of her, but as soon as the matter was resolved, he would never et the Xu family or even the principal again.

Was he not being too arrogant?

***

Nightfall.

It was already the third night Anhao was in Liujing Residence.

On the first night, both of them ca ho late, and because Zuo Hancheng was busy with work, Anhao slept in his room alone.

As for the second night, because Anhao held herself back and promised that she would listen to him, he caressed her head and told her to go to bed early, and not think about the bar again. Anhao did not know what had possessed her. Even though she was still concerned about her work at the bar, she actually went to bed after he had persuaded her. She was knocked out as soon as her head touched the pillow and she slept until the next morning, feeling oddly at ease.

This was the third night…

As Anhao sat on the living room sofa, sketching here and there on the drafts of all the rooms on the second floor, the bathroom door opened.

She lifted her eyes quite abruptly and saw Zuo Hancheng in a bathrobe fresh out from the shower. It was a good thing that he was not like those shaless male main characters in love stories where they would just wrap their lower half with a towel. If not, Anhao feared that her eyes would swell up.

However, Zuo Hancheng was only wearing a bathrobe. The belt was loosely tied on his waist, the front part of the robe was wide open so more than half of his chest was exposed.

Seeing the droplets of water still on his chest, her eyes looked from the belt on his waist to his naked chest. To the water that was dripping from his chin, and then onto the man’s absurdly handso face that was utterly exquisite, and finally on to his wet hair that was still dripping water. Damp black hair, and seeing him walking out and simply taking a towel to wipe his hair…

Anhao oddly could not take her eyes off him.

A month ago because of a strange combination of circumstances, she had seen the man in the hotel room. She was already amazed then, but at that ti she had been in shock and filled with anger toward the Gu family. She had only known that she was married to a dazzling and in no way an ordinary man in all the confusion.

Her eyes were glued to the man. Anhao subconsciously bit the end of her pencil. Staring at that man, she was wondering what the God of Creation was thinking, to create such a man where a single imperfection could not be found, and wondered if his mother ate so sort of miraculous magical dicine while pregnant with him.

A man, and especially a man that was going to be in his thirties, even him drying his hair seed so dashing. If he were to go back ten years, this man would no doubt be a man with unparalleled beauty of the generation!

But ti had etched on his face such an appeal and calmness. It was a deanor that no young n her age would be able to have. It was such that the only thing he had to do was stand still and he would still catch people’s attention, why did he even have the hobby of educating kids?

This was the part that was the most confusing to Anhao.

Could it be that this fellow Zuo Hancheng liked playing simulation gas?

Anhao suddenly shivered, she had heard that rich people in the present were more and more perverted. She reckoned that Zuo Hancheng was one of the perverts, since he liked simulations like this so much, and he liked his won to be obedient. She should just buy him an inflatable doll—the type that he would be extrely satisfied with.

After coming out of the shower, and being ogled at by the girl sitting on the couch, Zuo Hancheng could read the amazent, worship, and even lewdness from her stare.

He calmly threw the towel on the floor, and slightly closed the front of his robe. Without being flustered, he said, “Seen enough?”

Anhao quickly lifted her hands and half-covered her eyes. “Don’t be a narcissist, there’s only two of us in the room. You are the one wearing your robe so loosely after your shower, if it were other people they would also be staring at you. It’s a good thing I didn’t see anything, otherwise my eyes would’ve swelled up…”

“You reminded of sothing.” Zuo Hancheng then suddenly walked toward her.

Anhao suddenly felt nervous. Seeing the man who had just showered coming closer to her, she stiffly stared at him. “What did I remind you of?”

“Anhao, even though you’re a high school student, you’re already an adult.”

Zuo Hancheng moved as if he was about to take off the belt on his robe, he said slowly, “Fulfilling the roles of a husband and wife is the fundantals of a marriage, even though a girl like you is still too na?ve, you still count as a lady.”

“Don’t… Don’t co any closer!”

Just when she thought that her two nights here had been peaceful, thinking that he would not be an animal and do anything to her because she was still a high school student.

However, seeing him about to take off his clothes, Anhao quickly jumped behind the sofa, took her fresh set of clothes on the sofa, and said, “Go to your study! I’m gonna go take a shower! Bye!”
