Chapter 656: Chapter 184: Shadow_4

He slowly stepped forward, turned around to face the remaining 11 wizards and calmly said, “If anyone objects, find privately. Now, follow .”

Having said this, Link also stepped into the small inter-dinsional teleportation portal.

None of the remaining 11 wizards, including Lanny Taylor, objected!

The na Link Grande was not just well-known among local wizards studying at the academy headquarters, it was also familiar to most scions of the major headquarters families.

Even the only female witch of the fourth generation Diomand Family, Sandra Diomand, did not act arrogantly in front of Link Grande.

Why would the participating scions of major families dare to oppose Link?

...

The logic is clear.

Exiting the small inter-dinsional teleportation portal, he was surprisingly taken directly to the cockpit of a “Lark” class interstellar battleship.

This took Link slightly by surprise.

What wasn’t surprising was that Sage Fletcher Domingo was not on this battleship.

As a Level Five Sage, leading a team composed of first and second-level wizards, executing a mission from the academy.

A little thought and it was obvious that this Level Five Sage was just serving so sort of insurance role.

The 11 team mbers passed through the teleportation portal one after another, arriving at the cockpit.

With the mbers all gathered, the “Lark” class interstellar battleship self-started, heading towards a certain coordinate.

“Hiss Hiss”.

The AI in front of the captain’s seat vibrated slightly.

“Choose your preferred posts and take your positions.”

Link issued an apparently senseless command, then took his seat in the captain’s chair.

The AI screen displayed the itinerary of this interstellar journey.

The route of the “Lark” class interstellar battleship had long been determined, and the ship was moving along this route.

The schedule also inford Link that it would take three days to reach the destination.

Then a day’s ti for rest, reconnaissance, and preparations.

After reading the schedule, Link looked up so information on the AI, finding the detailed description of the mission.

“Strike at the Shadow City Outlander Colonization Team, restrain the attack strength, prioritize seizing supplies, avoid causing harm to opponents, beware of other powers taking advantage.”

After viewing the mission’s detailed description, Link made note of the key points.

He felt as if a dark cloth had enveloped him along with his 11 team mbers, the Shadow City Outlander Colonization Team, and any potential other powers.

Behind that cloth or sowhere else, a pair of eyes were raptly watching, a great hand manipulating everything.

“This is a trap!”

Link secretly sighed in his heart, then made a decision, prioritize protecting himself, the mission is secondary.

Considering Dean Frist’s “suggestion” for him to accept the draft and participate in this mission.

If soone says he has nothing to do with this trap, Link wouldn’t believe it.

Even more, Link suspected, this trap was set up by Dean Frist.

Its purpose, however, was unknown.

In that case, there’s no need to go all out and wreak havoc.

Coming out of his introspection, Link looked at the various control panels under the captain’s seat.

Only to see that the 11 team mbers were orderly sitting before a control panel, familiarizing themselves with the functions or looking at the situation.

There was no need for Link, their captain, to command them, they had already completed the division of tasks on their own.

Excellent, this was exactly the effect Link wanted.

“Everyone, please read the mission’s detailed description, if anyone has thoughts, feel free to voice them.”

After so thought, Link sent the mission description to the AI display at each team mber’s control station.

Carrying out a mission, of course, cannot be done in the fog.

Otherwise, wouldn’t that raise doubts that one has beco disposable cannon fodder?

The 11 team mbers carefully read the mission description, their thoughts varied.

For a while, no one spoke out.

Seeing this, Link spoke solemnly, “If you have nothing to say now, you won’t be able to say anything later. All commands will be obeyed by . Any objections?”

“None.”

Lanny Taylor took up the thread and stated her position first.

The other 10 wizards, after a mont’s silence, successively responded.

With that, the command was officially established.
