Only young lads are into mature won.

Haven’t you seen in novels that the protagonists obsessed with older won are always high school boys? For them, in the throes of puberty, mature won possess a deadly allure.

But for a man in his thirties, isn’t the plain wife at ho tireso enough? Treating each other with formal respect might be an exaggeration; the silent, wordless nights in the sa bed are a much truer reflection. The phrase "submitting howork" so vividly captures the helplessness of a middle-aged man. I wonder which genius invented that term.

A single, "Sorry, I’m not into older won," had everyone laughing.

"PFFT!"

The young woman shaking the milk tea couldn’t hold back her laughter either.

"I’m sorry, I didn’t an to," she quickly apologized, seeing the displeased look on Fan Yi’s face.

At that mont, Fan Yi had no ti to deal with the milk tea girl.

"You... Sun Dasheng, you bastard! You shallow bastard!" Fan Yi shrieked.

Lies don’t hurt—it’s the truth that cuts like a knife. Shallow? He was sorry, but all n are shallow, visual creatures. Sun Dasheng simply shrugged.

"Haha... Auntie, dear, there’s no need to strut around showing off your big assets here," Xiang Yiren chid in. "You should save them for nursing your baby at ho. Don’t go around seducing n and letting your child go hungry."

Faced with a malicious rival, Xiang Yiren’s counterattack was naturally sharp. Although she needed soone to help divert Sun Dasheng’s attention, it certainly wasn’t going to be this woman. From her predatory, wolfish gaze, it was clear this woman was incredibly possessive. She probably wasn’t the type to share a man.

K.O.!

That single shot at her weakness instantly shattered her composure.

"Sir, your milk tea is ready!" the milk tea girl said, breaking the awkward atmosphere.

"Thank you!" Xiang Yiren took the drink, put in the straw, and obediently held it to Sun Dasheng’s lips.

As she fed him, she whispered, "Brother, be careful not to spill it. If you do, my heart will break for you."

Then, she shot a provocative glance at Fan Yi. I can do this for Brother. Can you?

Fan Yi muttered "little green tea" under her breath and turned to leave. She knew she had lost, lost completely, because she could never bring herself to do sothing like that!

As a gold-digger, she was a walking contradiction. On one hand, she wanted to catch a Golden Son-In-Law and climb the social ladder. On the other, she couldn’t let go of her damned self-respect! Even when she occasionally swallowed her pride, it was only for a greater prize, like her earlier confession to Sun Dasheng in front of the milk tea shop. But the mont success was within her grasp, her pride would flare up, and she’d try to seize control of the relationship. The results were, more often than not, the opposite of what she wanted.

After all, no rich man is a fool. A sparrow that managed to climb onto a high branch—do you really think you’re a phoenix? You dare try and be my master? Inevitably, she would be cast aside without a second thought.

It wasn’t that she’d never successfully caught a Golden Son-In-Law when she was younger. Unfortunately, her repeated failures taught her nothing. Perhaps she eventually understood, but having never compromised before, the thought of settling now was unbearable. Year after year, as she grew older, she could only console herself with the title of a "high-quality leftover woman."

In truth, Sun Dasheng wasn’t as uninterested in older won as he claid. After all, a woman in her thirties, her charm still in full bloom, was at her most captivating age. Unfortunately, won of that age were also the most difficult to deal with. So, it was definitely for the best to avoid getting involved with them, especially the older, single ones.

"Brother Sun, watch out for the cars. You should walk on my side," Xiang Yiren said, switching the arm she was holding and positioning herself on the side closer to the road.

Sun Dasheng affectionately ruffled her hair. He smiled, feeling the soft, slender beauty in his arms. "Young, sensible little sisters really are the best."

Looking up and catching the smile on his face, Xiang Yiren snuggled into his arms and secretly grinned. Heh, you punk. I’ve spent over a decade perfecting my green tea arts. Let’s see who dares try to steal my man.

After dropping her off at the gym, Sun Dasheng returned to the company. He took so ti to sign so docunts, and then it was ti to clock out.

「Off work, and heading ho.」

The three girls were already there.

"Uncle, you’re back?" Hearing the noise at the door, Li Sili ca bouncing out of the kitchen to greet him. She wore a cute apron with little bears on it, and she dutifully fetched his slippers from the shoe cabinet, carefully placing his outdoor shoes inside.

"You all finished work early today?" Sun Dasheng asked curiously after changing his shoes. "And what’s with the get-up?"

Li Sili giggled, winking playfully. "Guess?"

Just then, a clanging sound ca from the kitchen. The secret was out.

Li Sili’s cute expression fell as she ran toward the kitchen. "Sihan, Yuqing, what happened now?"

Sun Dasheng just watched them with a smile. He didn’t bother them, instead going to his bedroom to take a shower and change into so comfortable clothes.

When he ca out, the dining table was already set with several large, covered platters.

"What’s the occasion? Feeling fancy enough to cook a feast today?" Sun Dasheng asked curiously.

The three girls, who had been watching TV on the sofa, turned it off.

"Uncle, you’re finally out! The food is getting cold," Li Sili said. "We made this dinner especially for you," she added.

"Oh? It’s not a holiday. Why?" Sun Dasheng asked.

"To thank you for letting us stay here for so many days, of course! Otherwise, we would have beco poor little holess girls," Li Sili joked.

Yun Yuqing covered her mouth and laughed. "Uncle, don’t listen to Sili’s nonsense. We’re going to Hengdian tomorrow for a shoot. We’ll probably go straight ho for the New Year from there, so we won’t see you again until next year. That’s why the three of us decided to cook you a al as a small token of our appreciation."

"This is our Northeastern iron pot braised goose," Fang Sihan said as she lifted a lid. "We usually make it for valued guests. My mom even guided us over a WeChat video call. I’m not sure how it tastes, so please give it a try."

She handed him a pair of chopsticks. Sun Dasheng took a bite. The flavor was actually quite good.

Yun Yuqing also introduced her dish, West Lake Vinegar Fish, explaining it was a specialty from her hotown that could only be eaten there. Sun Dasheng tried it with interest, and the taste was... well, let’s just say it was for the best that this dish had never spread. If it’s a local specialty, it should stay local. He nearly spat it out.

"Hahaha..." Li Sili burst out laughing. Pointing at Yun Yuqing, she howled, "I told you this dish wasn’t good! Look, Uncle’s reaction is the sa as mine!"

Yun Yuqing protested, "People have different tastes! Our dish is very famous, okay?"

"I never said it wasn’t famous," Li Sili agreed with a nod. "But it really is awful."

"The first bite, it just feels like..." she trailed off, struggling to find the words.

"The vinegar is vinegar, and the fish is fish," Sun Dasheng said. "It’s like they took a fish right out of the water without getting rid of the fishiness, poured so vinegar on it, and called it a dish."

"Yes, yes! Uncle, you took the words right out of my mouth!" Li Sili exclaid, hugging his arm with a laugh.
