Since neither of them was focused on the al, it ended quickly and they parted ways. Zhong Liying, weighed down by heavy thoughts, left with her best friend, Pan Yanyan.

As Sun Dasheng was preparing to head ho, he received a WeChat ssage from his boxing coach, Wu Yue:

["We agreed on two lessons a week. It’s been almost two weeks, and you’ve only attended one."]

["Are you still planning to take the remaining lessons? If so, hurry over. I have ti now."]

Right, I had completely forgotten about that.

["On my way!"]

After replying, he tossed his phone aside and drove off.

「iShang Fitness」

Xiang Yiren, who was chatting with her colleagues at the front desk, warmly approached Sun Dasheng when she saw him arrive. "I thought you’d be like the others, showing up once to get the mbership card and then never coming back."

In front of her coworkers, her greeting was professional, without any overly affectionate gestures.

"Coach Wu told you were coming. Follow , I’ll take you to the training area," she said, leading him upstairs. "Zi Yan, keep an eye on things for ," she added casually to the woman at the desk.

The woman was clad in yoga attire that perfectly showcased her impeccable figure. She was buxom, with a rounded rear—if the front was a conventional weapon, her behind was a ’nuclear weapon,’ particularly devastating to the eyes.

She nodded, casting a few curious glances at Sun Dasheng. As one of Xiang Yiren’s best friends, this was the first ti she had ever seen her dote on a man like this. Plenty of wealthy older n at the gym had tried to win her over with money, but none had ever managed to make her look twice. So who exactly was this guy?

Once they turned the corner of the staircase and disappeared from view, she withdrew her gaze.

Xiang Yiren glanced down the stairs. Seeing no one, she pressed herself against Sun Dasheng and gave him a deep French kiss.

After a long mont, their lips parted.

"Darling! What do you think of my friend?" she whispered, her breath fragrant and soft as she spoke enticingly into his ear.

"Who?" Sun Dasheng asked.

Seeing him feign ignorance, Xiang Yiren laughed. Unbothered, she continued as if talking to herself, "Her na is Jiang Ziyan. She’s 27, and her asurents are 91, 59, 96. She’s the most beautiful yoga instructor in our gym."

"Why are you telling this?" Sun Dasheng asked, maintaining a righteous facade.

He admitted to himself that he had taken a few extra glances earlier, but he wasn’t so horny dog who’d jump on anyone he saw.

Xiang Yiren stared into his eyes for a long mont. When she saw he truly wasn’t interested, she looked away and led him to the boxing area. There would be plenty of ti to introduce her friend later.

Coach Wu was as serious and responsible as ever. During this training session, she noticed that the student, who had only been here once before, seed to have dramatically improved his physical condition. During his previous lesson, a single session was enough to leave him drenched in sweat. This ti, even though she had intentionally increased the training intensity, he had barely broken a sweat. How strange. Could he have been practicing secretly on his own?

With that in mind, she advised, "From now on, try to limit your training to our lessons. Don’t practice on your own without professional guidance—you’ll develop improper form and could easily injure yourself."

Practice on my own? I haven’t! But then he rembered the system’s third upgrade, which had enhanced his internal organs and, in turn, significantly improved his outward physical fitness.

He nodded. "Don’t worry, Coach Wu. I understand that professional matters should be left to the professionals. I won’t make that mistake again."

Wu Yue was even more pleased to see that he took advice well. If only he weren’t a man. She would have loved to take him on as her final disciple and teach him everything she knew.

"I originally thought it would take you a month to learn the basics, but it seems you’ve already mastered the fundantals after just two lessons," Wu Yue remarked, a hint of awe in her voice. She’d really misjudged him last ti.

Hearing this, Sun Dasheng was genuinely delighted. "It’s all because you’re such a great teacher, Coach."

Wu Yue waved her hand dismissively. "It’s all due to your strong physical foundation and high aptitude. You learn things instantly. Anyone could have taught you."

As they were exchanging pleasantries, a dissonant voice cut in.

"Well, well. Looks like Coach Wu found an unparalleled boxing genius. Learned the basics after just two lessons, has he?"

Laughter erupted around them.

Sun Dasheng turned toward the voice and saw that a group of coaches and students had gathered around the ring. The one who had sneered was Zheng Dashan, who was known to be at odds with Wu Yue. The students behind him also wore mocking expressions.

Learned the basics in two lessons? Who is she kidding? They had trained painstakingly for three months and spent a fortune on class fees just to barely learn the basics themselves. Now, hearing that so guy had managed it in two simple lessons, their first reaction wasn’t, "Wow, this guy is incredible." It was, "What kind of bullshit is that?" After all, they had never seen, or even heard of, a genius like that.

"Zheng Dashan, how quickly my student learns is none of your business," Wu Yue retorted coldly.

"Ha! This concerns the reputation of our iShang Fitness. If outsiders hear this boast of yours and it gets exposed as a lie, we’ll all lose face," Zheng Dashan declared. "Don’t you all agree?" he asked, turning to the crowd.

"Yes!"

"Coach Zheng is right!"

"Zheng Dashan, you’re not the one in charge of this gym," Wu Yue stood her ground. "You have no authority over ."

"The gym sinks or swims together. What Coach Zheng ans is what I an."

At that mont, a man in a suit approached. The fabric was stretched taut over his muscular fra, and his hair was slicked back.

Seeing him, Zheng Dashan’s face turned sycophantic. "Manager Wang, I didn’t expect such a trivial matter to trouble you."

As the general manager of the franchise, he didn’t spend much ti at the main branch.

Wang Aimin clapped Zheng Dashan on the shoulder and smiled. "Your brother and I are old army buddies. No need to be so formal. Just call Brother Wang."

"Manager Wang, my brother is my brother, and I am . We can’t disregard the professional hierarchy," Zheng Dashan said righteously.

"Oh, you!" Wang Aimin said, his hand patting Zheng Dashan’s shoulder even more gently. "I’ll leave this for you to handle. You have my authorization. If anyone disobeys, you tell , and I’ll deal with them."

With that, he glanced at Wu Yue and Sun Dasheng, then turned and left. Another person followed behind him, soone Sun Dasheng found vaguely familiar.

"Well, Wu Yue? I guess you have nothing to say now, do you?" Zheng Dashan said, his face smug with his petty victory.

"What do you want?" Wu Yue asked, her face a cold mask.

"We’re boxers. Of course, we should let our fists do the talking," Zheng Dashan said, his sinister gaze falling on the unassuming Sun Dasheng. "Each side will put forward a student of a similar weight class for a match. If your student wins, I’ll admit I was wrong and apologize for offending you. But if your student loses..."

Facing Zheng Dashan’s malicious stare, Wu Yue said impassively, "And what if he loses?"

"If he loses, this student becos mine."

Zheng Dashan’s words were rather unexpected. Even the students standing beside him were caught off guard. They had thought he would make so outrageous demand of Wu Yue. Who would have guessed it would be this? Coach Zheng, since when were you so dedicated to your job?
