The young Japanese won of today have long since lost their forr glory. Back in the economic boom of the 80s and 90s, they all lived by the "Three Wallet Theory." This theory involved having a man to pay for als, a man to buy gifts, and a man to run errands—commonly known as an ATM, a al ticket, and a chauffeur. None of these n were considered marriage prospects. Ultimately, they all aid to marry a ’three-highs’ man: one with a high-level education, a high inco, and a tall stature. They called this man their ’fated one,’ or what would be translated in China as their ’prince charming.’ And then... that was the end of that.

Ever since the economy stagnated and Japan entered its ’lost decades,’ things changed. With the economy failing, who do you think companies laid off first? It was, of course, the previously high-flying won who simply couldn’t compete with n in the cutthroat corporate world. A vast number were laid off, and many struggled just to put food on the table. The only path left for them was returning to the ho. So were even forced into the adult entertainnt industry.

So now, modern Japanese won are the complete opposite of their predecessors, adopting a philosophy of low posture, low dependency, and low risk. Even so, a large number of them still can’t get married because the reclusive ’otaku’ n have simply given up, lying flat and waiting for death, with no interest in marriage.

Only with this context can one understand the shock the two young won felt when they saw clothes that cost tens of thousands. You might think their salaries are higher than in China, but in reality, daily rent and food consu a massive portion of their inco. When it cos to buying nice clothes or a few luxury items, they are no different from won in China. They simply can’t afford it.

"Incredible! Mr. Sun is being far too generous. How could he buy us such expensive clothes when we’ve only just t?" Inoue Keiko’s eyes widened in shock.

"It’s probably the gesture of a very important person," Zhong Xiaofeng speculated. "A sum like this seems huge to us, but to him, it might just be the price of a single al. It might even be less than that."

As they were whispering, the bedroom door opened, and a neatly dressed Zhong Liying entered the living room.

"Yoko, I’m going out to buy so late-night snacks. Do you want to co with ?"

Zhong Xiaofeng stood up and linked arms with Zhong Liying. "Yes, Yoko wants to go out for a walk."

"What about Keiko?" she asked again.

Seeing how close the two sisters were, Inoue Keiko decided not to be a third wheel and disturb them. With a sweet smile, she said, "Keiko is tired from today, so I won’t hold you two back." Her words had a characteristically Japanese flavor, reflecting a dislike for troubling others.

"Alright then, Keiko. What would you like to eat? I’ll bring sothing back for you," Zhong Xiaofeng asked with a smile, a flicker of disappointnt crossing her face.

"Rice noodles with sausage will be fine. Thank you for the trouble!"

"Don’t ntion it. There’s a TV in the room, so you can watch it if you get bored."

"Okay." Inoue Keiko stood up and saw the two to the door.

She then returned to the empty living room, took out her phone, and began snapping pictures of everything. She had been wanting to capture the impossibly luxurious suite to send to her friends back ho, partly to broaden their horizons, but mostly to make them envious. After all, girls from any country share a love for posting photos, getting likes, and basking in the resulting wave of vanity.

Inoue Keiko was so engrossed in her photography that she didn’t notice soone had silently appeared beside her. After capturing the night view through the glass curtain wall, she turned around and bumped squarely into soone. His body felt like a solid wall. Being petite, her nose collided directly with his chest.

"Ah!"

Clutching her nose, she looked up and imdiately bowed. "Mr. Sun, please forgive Keiko’s rudeness!"

She expected a stern reprimand but was surprised when he reached out, gently touching her nose. "Did that hurt?"

She stood frozen, not daring to move, and squeaked, "It’s alright, Mr. Sun. It doesn’t hurt."

As she started to bow again, she suddenly felt her body floating. The man in front of her had lifted her with one arm as if she were a child. His other hand gently stroked her nose as he said, "A little girl’s nose grows longer when she lies. See? It’s all red right here. How could it not hurt?"

The mindset of a young Japanese woman is sowhat different from that of the Chinese.

He’s not asking why he’s holding ... He’s so strong and powerful! Just like an Empire Destroyer Dragon. And he’s so gentle, too, worrying about my nose like that. Compared to the n back ho, he’s a true prince charming.

At this thought, her ears turned bright red.

Keiko, what are you thinking? He’s a powerful man who runs a financial group, and he’s Yoko’s brother-in-law! How could I possibly have such improper thoughts?

"Um... Mr. Sun... can you put..."

She wanted to say that he could put her down now, as there was nothing wrong with her feet. But he gave her no chance. Instead, he carried her into the room, and her heart pounded wildly.

No way... what’s he going to do to ? Is it really what I think it is? Oh, that would be wonderful!

Before she could even feel pleased, he carried her over to where her bags were. He retrieved a bottle of Red Flower Oil, poured so into his palm, and gently applied it to her nose.

Her face flushed a furious red. Miss Keiko, how could you think of Mr. Sun in such a way? He’s such a gentle, considerate man. Even the romantic heroes in our dramas aren’t as outstanding as him. He couldn’t possibly be that kind of person! Miss Keiko, you truly are a depraved woman with a dirty mind.

After applying the Red Flower Oil, he gently began to undo the buttons on her blouse.
