"Why did you agree with him?"

Once in the car, Ningwan questioned Zhan Hanjue.

Zhan Hanjue glanced at her, "Isn’t it for you?"

Ningwan: "..."

"I don’t need your help, I can handle this myself."

As long as he’s ill, she has ways to handle him. By then, threatening and enticing, is there a need to fear Ye Pengcheng won’t comply obediently?

"Have you ever thought about making the Ye Family like the Lin Family?" Zhan Hanjue asked.

Ningwan was stunned, "You an..."

"The structure of Jiangcheng’s four major families needs so change." Zhan Hanjue said vaguely.

Ningwan looked at him in surprise, opened her mouth wanting to say sothing, but in the end, said nothing.

She didn’t sympathize with the Ye Family.

They even unearthed her parents’ graves, using their ashes for threats, how could she possibly sympathize with them?

Yet, there was an indescribable feeling in her heart.

That earlier "I will," also moved her trendously internally.

But in the end, she was overthinking.

"Stop, I want to go to school."

Passing Jiangcheng University, Ningwan suddenly spoke, asking the driver to stop.

The driver stopped the car.

Zhan Hanjue asked, "What are you going to do at school?"

Ningwan said, "Of course, to attend classes. I haven’t been to the school since I registered. This isn’t being a good student, I must be worthy of the building you donated to the school."

Only later did Ningwan find out that Zhan Hanjue donated a building to the school.

No wonder the school was so polite to her, allowing her to choose any major. She skipped class for so long without a single phone call urging her.

"Let Wu follow you." Zhan Hanjue said.

Ningwan replied, "I’m going to school, not a fight. Why let a bodyguard follow ? School isn’t so other place, don’t make the center of attention, being gossiped about."

After speaking, Ningwan pushed the car door open and got off.

Zhan Hanjue frowned slightly.

Looking at Ningwan’s back, why did he feel like she was angry?

Recollecting every word and action at the Ye Family, he didn’t think he did anything wrong to upset her.

"Wu, why do won always love getting angry?" Zhan Hanjue asked.

Wu was embarrassed and awkwardly replied, "Boss, I don’t have a girlfriend yet."

Zhan Hanjue: "..."

"Maybe you should ask soone else?"

"Never mind, go to the company."

"Okay."

Wu breathed a sigh of relief and quickly instructed the driver to drive back to the company.

Ningwan went to school, first reporting to her departnt.

The departnt head knew her identity but was seeing her for the first ti.

He was stunned at first sight, thinking, such a beautiful girl, why co to our traditional Chinese dicine departnt?

Aware of her status, he dared not ask much. After handling the paperwork, he took her to the class and introduced her to her teacher.

Ningwan’s class had sixteen students in total.

This subject was really too niche.

Though being a doctor is a highly sought-after career, traditional Chinese dicine is like yesterday’s flower, long past its heyday.

Nowadays, people value speed, how many would choose traditional Chinese dicine for treatnt?

All hospitals’ traditional Chinese dicine practitioners are aging, young people go for Western dicine, who wants to stay in such a dull place like an old scholar.

It is said that among these sixteen students, a few are transfers, having said in advance they will change their major in the sophomore year.

A few were studying for free, coming from poor families, having a university to attend was already good enough, let alone a tuition-free major. Naturally, there were no other options.

The rest had traditional Chinese dicine backgrounds, from traditional Chinese dicine family lineages. Whether voluntary or forced by the family, they ca anyway.

It’s said the original number was eighteen, two dropped out.

Now adding Ningwan, exactly seventeen.

There were only three girls, fourteen boys, clearly a disproportionate ratio.

The teacher, surnad Wen, was also an elderly person.

He led Ningwan into the class and said to the surprised crowd, "This is your new classmate, everyone study well together, and carry forward traditional Chinese dicine."

"New classmate, what’s your na, introduce yourself." A male student sitting at the back, eyes sparkling, teased by asking Ningwan to introduce herself.

Ningwan had no choice but to say, "My surna is Ye, Ye Ningwan."

"Such a lovely na, just like you." Another male student teased with a smile.

Imdiately, the whole class of boys laughed.

There were only two girls, one with a cold expression, wearing black-frad glasses. As if all the surrounding excitent had nothing to do with her, she was seriously reading a "Chinese dicine Miscellany."

The other girl had a rather charming appearance, her attire looked more like she was from the arts departnt than the traditional Chinese dicine departnt.

At this mont, her eyes glared angrily at Ningwan, as if Ningwan had killed her whole family.

Ningwan furrowed her brows slightly.

She could be sure she hadn’t seen this girl before, why the hostile look?

"Ye classmate, find a seat and sit down! Class is starting now." Mr. Wen said.

Ningwan nodded and found a seat to sit down.

Having brought nothing with her, she could only listen to the lecture.

"Classmate, didn’t bring a pen? I can lend you one."

"Classmate, I can also lend you a notebook."

The two male students next to her eagerly offered a notebook and pen.

"Thank you!" Ningwan didn’t hesitate and accepted with gratitude.

The two boys were overjoyed, the beauty accepted their things.

"I’ll return them to you next class." Ningwan added.

The two boys first nodded, then quickly shook their heads, "It’s okay, keep them, no rush."

Ningwan focused on listening to Mr. Wen’s lecture.

Mr. Wen did have so skills, his lecture was quite good.

After class, Mr. Wen left with his books.

Ningwan packed her notebook, ready to find Wu Taotao.

But unexpectedly, the girl who had glared at her earlier blocked her.

"Ye Ningwan."

The girl called her na.

Ningwan curiously asked, "Do we know each other?"

"No, but we will soon. I’m Huang Yunng, why did you co to the traditional Chinese dicine departnt?" Huang Yunng asked arrogantly.

Ningwan chuckled, "Why should I tell you why I’m in the traditional Chinese dicine departnt?"

Is this girl ill?

Asking this kind of question with such a tone, she really cares a lot.

"Ye Ningwan, transfer out imdiately." Huang Yunng was angry as she chased after Ningwan and blocked her again.

"Huang, if you’re sick, go to the infirmary, don’t block my way," Ningwan said seriously.

Huang Yunng stomped her feet in anger.

At this ti, two male students ca by, and Huang Yunng imdiately complained to them, "Look, this new student has such a big temper. I greeted her, and she scolded ."

"Ye classmate has sothing to do, you stopped her from leaving, who else would she scold if not you?" The male student backed up Ningwan.

Huang Yunng was furious, "You... we’ve known each other for so long, and you help her? Just because she’s prettier, so what?"

"That’s enough," the two boys replied with a grin.

Ningwan shook her head, not having the ti to listen to their idle chatter, she already walked around them and left.

Huang Yunng stomped her feet and glared at Ningwan’s departing back with gritted teeth, "Just watch."
