Today, Edith didn’t want to worry about helping Cliff choose a venue. Her priority now was caring for her lover until he recovered. After all, this was the result of her leaving Callum without thinking, which caused him stress. Today would also be her chance to spend the day with Callum without anyone disturbing them. "Callum, you’re getting a full day off today. I’m going to ask Renata and Patrick to look after the twins."
Callum pursed his lips and looked away. "I wanted to play with you all day today."
"Can you stop being so stubborn? Luckily, I lied to Cliff yesterday. I told him I’d been busy playing with Eliana all day."
"Then what was his answer? Was he angry?"

"Edith, if you are too sweet now, I will keep you in my house all day."
"Isn’t that your wish too?"
"Yes, that’s my wish. I don’t like seeing you spending ti with another man on your day off. Especially when that man is my enemy."
For a mont, Edith pressed her lips to her lover’s forehead. "I’ll make you so porridge before I take your fever dicine."

anwhile, Cliff was arriving at a venue for his engagent party, which was scheduled to take place in two weeks. He was deeply disappointed to hear that his fiancée had flatly rejected him, despite his good intentions of asking her out. He cursed Edith for always resisting him. Initially, Cliff felt lonely without his fiancée touring the venue. Now, by chance, he ran into his ex-girlfriend, who was also visiting. His expression turned cold, disgusted by the woman who was only using him.
"What are you doing here?" Cliff said in a sharp tone.
Arabella forced a laugh, folding her arms. "Is this place only for you to visit? You selfish man!"

"By the way, why are you alone? Shouldn’t you have asked Edith to accompany you to find a vendor?"
"Don’t ntion that woman’s na again! I’m actually angry!"
Arabella took a mont to approach Cliff. Her right hand gently touched his broad shoulder with a teasing gaze. "Could it be that Edith dumped you because you’re so boring?"

"I knew you were blinded by Edith’s love. I didn’t like her from the start because she was just a nuisance. You should have chosen , not her."
Cliff laughed awkwardly, moving his lips closer to the crimson ones in front of him. "Why should I choose you? Can you satisfy every day?"
"So, what was your real purpose in marrying Edith? Did you want her to satisfy your desires every day?"
"Since when did I want her to be my wife? I actually just want her twins. This way, Callum will definitely lose everything."
Arabella furrowed her brows. "Wait a minute! So Edith was just an excuse to steal Callum’s twins?"
"Of course. Once I achieve my goal, I will disappear from this world."
A sinister smile crossed her face. She wrapped her arms around her ex-lover’s neck. "Even if you succeed in eliminating Edith, what about ? Do I still have any hope of becoming your wife?"
"But, are you still obsessed with Callum? Weren’t you the one who trapped him in the pool earlier?"

"Okay, I’m having lunch with Edith this afternoon anyway. At least she can go on a date with , even if it’s just for a short ti."

Although today was her schedule for visiting several venues to survey locations for her engagent party, what Edith was now looking at on her phone were samples of diamond rings sold by renowned jewelry stores around the world. Her eyes sparkled at the beauty of all the diamond rings as she stared at her fiancé, who was smiling at her constantly.
"Edith, are you actually so impatient to marry Cliff that you had to choose a ring secretly without his knowledge?"
Edith laughed mischievously, moving her face closer to her fiancé’s. "Why should you be jealous when I have no intention of marrying him?"
"Then, why are you in such a hurry to see the ring?"
"I’m picking out rings for us!"
His heart skipped a beat at his lover’s unexpected statent. "I never thought you’d be the one so impatient to marry ."

Suddenly, a text ssage notification from Cliff appeared on her phone screen. Edith was forced to postpone looking at the ring.
"Edith, I bought you lunch. After this, I want to visit your residence."
