Diana is Cliff’s biological mother and Callum’s stepmother. She has always hated Callum for many reasons. Most importantly, Callum’s presence in her family has infuriated her. Furthermore, when Cliff and Callum are compared, Callum is actually superior in every way. That’s why Diana doesn’t want Callum to usurp the throne as the first heir soday. Furthermore, her husband has always praised Callum, and she has protested, but he never paid attention.

The only way to destroy Callum was to separate him from the woman he loved. That’s why, for the past five years, he’d been silent, content with Callum living the life he wanted. He’d been happy to see Callum’s restlessness every day, and he’d let Cliff live happily with the woman he loved.

Actually, Diana doesn’t hate Edith, but because Edith likes Callum more than Cliff, Edith also becos a victim of her outburst.

The rain outside was getting heavier. A sly smile spread across his face as he stood up from his chair for a mont, staring out the window at the violent lightning bolts outside.

"We have to stop them before they actually get married," Diana said firmly.

"Are you going to send Edith abroad?" the assistant asked nervously.

"Shooting her out of the country won’t be very effective. You know Callum always uses any ans to get his woman back." Diana rested her chin on her hand. "Their eting after five years apart, I think sothing’s odd. How could Edith choose the sa school as Callum?"

"So, it is very likely that Callum sent soone to persuade Edith to choose that school?"

"Actually, I know what Callum’s been up to all this ti. He’s always had soone secretly monitoring Edith. I’m still making assumptions. What’s certain is that I have to visit Callum’s residence now. I have to make sure they don’t live in the sa house. Given their close relationship, I’m sure Callum has asked Edith to move in with him."

anwhile, in a luxurious ho belonging to a little family, the loud and incessant roar woke the twins, who were initially sleeping soundly. Naturally, the couple imdiately went to their children’s room and cald them down by playing pop music to calm them down.

Edith was amazed by her lover’s swift action and ability to resolve this simple problem so effectively. It’s rare for a father to calm his child down so quickly. However, Callum was unlike any other father. He was a father figure and a man who was incredibly intelligent, able to quickly resolve any problem. That was one of the main reasons Edith fell in love with him so easily.

"Eliana, now Daddy won’t make you cry on rainy days anymore. Daddy has successfully chased away the monster that was bothering you," Callum said, stroking his little princess’s tiny cheek.

Eliana nodded. "I won’t cry anymore because I have Dad now."

"You really are very smart, just like your mother." Callum’s gaze fell on his girlfriend’s rosy cheeks. "Seeing you like this reminds of your mother back when we were dating."

"What was my mother like back then?" Erdin asked enthusiastically.

Edith rolled her eyes and covered her lover’s mouth with her hand. "Don’t tell the kids! It was so embarrassing back then!"

Callum gently pushed his girlfriend’s hand away, laughing heartily. "I haven’t even told you yet, and you’re already embarrassed."

"After all, I’m more embarrassed than the children."

"Yes, it’s true that you always cried every ti there was a storm."

"I knew you couldn’t keep a secret well!"

"But, I know the truth about why you cry so easily during storms. And, I’m the only one who can calm you down."

Callum was right. Not everyone could calm her down during a thunderstorm. Although Edith had dated Cliff before, only Callum could erase her trauma during the rain. Since Callum cald her down, she’s no longer afraid of thunderstorms.

They chatted with their children for quite a while before going to bed. After successfully putting their twins to sleep, they were finally able to return to their room to continue their adventure in the world of sweet dreams. However, because Callum was too sweet to his twins, Edith felt even more reluctant to return to the world of sweet dreams. The unblinking look in her eyes as she stared at Callum’s smile made her heart race.

"Don’t your eyes get sore from looking at all the ti?" Callum asked, deliberately moving his lips closer to the red lips in front of him.

Edith laughed sheepishly. "I actually enjoyed watching you calm the kids down earlier. You really are the best dad."

"For the past five years, I’ve been really worried about you. I was afraid you and Eliana would cry during a storm. I wanted to co to you, but all I could do was stay silent."

"Don’t worry. I won’t get angry over this. In fact, I’ve been able to calm Eliana down every storm. I learned the thod from you."

"Edith, if we hadn’t t until now, would you have been able to sleep soundly?"

"Why do you treat like a child?"

"Because in my eyes, you are like a child."

Edith folded her arms. "Then why do you want to be engaged to a little girl? Wouldn’t that just be a hassle for you?"

"It’s okay. I actually enjoy it even more when you bother . My life becos less boring."

"Callum, I think you need to be taught a lesson once in a while so you don’t always joke around like this."

"But, what I said is in accordance with the facts."

The next morning, Callum and Edith woke up later than usual due to lack of sleep. They decided to cook breakfast together instead of arguing over petty issues.

Although the morning seed peaceful and sweet, soone suddenly visited them. Callum imdiately ran out of his house to greet the uninvited visitor.

As he opened the gate of his house, his eyes widened as he saw the figure of his stepmother visiting him after a long ti.
