For so reason, Eliana felt increasingly uncomfortable with Cliff’s presence. Although Cliff had always treated her well in the past, she never considered him her father. Moreover, she could sense that Cliff had been caring about her for so ulterior motive. Every ti Cliff had fun with her mother without caring about her anymore, Eliana wanted to drive Cliff away from her mother. Moreover, looking at the smile Cliff was showing now made Erdin afraid. Even though Erdin was her older brother, she was actually more cowardly. Did Erdin have a strong feeling that Cliff was not a good person?

"Uncle, do you want to et Erdin?" Eliana asked with an innocent face.

"Of course because he is my son too."

Erdin shook his head quickly. "Uncle isn’t my father!"

Cliff smiled sarcastically, squatting down in front of Erdin. "Don’t be stubborn in front of your biological father. The father who raised you was actually just an adoptive father. He was the one who saved you from an accident. Now I’ve finally found you."

"You’re lying! I’m going to tell Dad that Uncle wants to kidnap !" Erdin snapped, gripping his younger sister’s hand trembling.

Eliana put on a pleading face, moving the sleeve of Cliff’s shirt. "Uncle, please don’t be like this. You’ve never been an to ."

"Then, you two must accept the fact that you are my biological children. Soon your mother will definitely marry ."

"What did you do to my twins?!"

Callum imdiately ran towards his twins and acted as a shield. He stood in front of them and held out his arms.

anwhile, Cliff laughed sarcastically at his half-brother who always ruined his plans. "Why are you acting like a hero?"

"Because I won’t let you bother my children!"

"Really? But shouldn’t they be my children?"

Callum turned his head to look at his twins, who looked terrified. "Erdin, can you take Eliana to the playground first? I still have business with this guy."

Erdin imdiately took his twin sister’s hand. "Dad..."

"It’s okay. Dad will be fine. The important thing is that you play with Eliana first."

When his twins were no longer visible, Callum didn’t hesitate to grab his half-brother by the collar. He deliberately pushed them away gently so he could act brutally. He didn’t want his children to think of him as a scary father.

"I warned you before. Don’t ss with my children!"

"Who said I was bothering them? I just wanted to be friends with them. It’s just that Erdin seems to hate ."

"If you incite him to follow you, I will not hesitate to kill you!"

"Go ahead. I’m not afraid, because the twins will be on my side." Cliff leaned forward. "Haven’t Edith told you yet that the DNA test results show I’m the father of your twins?"

"Still, I won’t give up Edith and my twins. You don’t deserve to be a father!"

"I’m going to marry Edith soon. Actually, I’m still nervous about whether the DNA test results will really prove I’m the father of the twins. I was just saying sothing out of the blue."

"Even if the DNA test results match your expectations, I will not allow you to marry Edith! I was her husband from the start."

After a brief chat with Cliff, Callum returned to his twins, who were playing on the swings in the playground. Staring at their gloomy faces, he sensed Cliff was right, trying to steal them. He ran to the swing area and crouched down in front of the glum twins.

"Kids, are you hurt?"

Erdin hugged his father tightly. "I’m scared, Dad."

"What did that uncle do to you guys?"

"That uncle said that he was my real father."

Callum lowered his head in resignation. "Then what did you say?"

"Of course I still support you. I don’t want to live with anyone else."

Eliana nodded. "I also want to stay with Dad. I really hate him."

"But, did your mother tell you anything strange? Like, like, asking you not to live with ?"

"No. In fact, mommy really likes daddy."

His eyes widened at the unexpected words from his twins. "Really? You really didn’t hear wrong, did you?"

"No. Every ti Mom picks us up from ho, she always tells us stories about Dad," Erdin said, touching his father’s suit sleeve.

"Thank God. Edith still loves ."

"But, is my mother working overti again today?" Eliana asked with a gloomy face.

"Looks like your mother will be working overti again until that special dress is ready. She works so hard because she loves so much. So, you don’t have to worry anymore about anyone trying to separate us."

"Dad has to promise to marry mom later." Eliana held out her little finger.

"If I can’t keep my promise, I’ll be ashad to face you in the future."

Eliana and Erdin hugged their father tightly, trying to release their fear. If their father had been late in saving them, they might not be able to live in peace now.

As the ball day approached, Edith was forced to quickly finalize their outfits. She didn’t want to disappoint Callum, who had given her so many things she loved. Furthermore, she didn’t want Callum to be underestimated, as he deserved to shine among all the guests. Therefore, she designed a special outfit that would be very aningful to Callum.

Even though her index finger was still injured from her earlier carelessness, she remained enthusiastic about completing her work. Especially now that she was nearly finished with the suit Callum would wear, she could already imagine what Callum would look like.

It was getting late. Ti passed quickly, and she decided to rest on the sofa and lie down.

Without realizing it, she fell into a deep sleep on the sofa, exhausted. She was so deep in sleep that she rolled over slowly, nearly falling to the floor. Luckily, Callum caught her head, who happened to want to keep her company all night.
