Three days later.

Chen Lan and the Beast Ancestor had been in the underground world, never leaving.

Chen Lan’s gains could be described as abundant!

"Fifty thousand, there are actually fifty thousand ants here, that’s just unbelievable."

The Beast Ancestor looked at the dense swarm of fifty thousand ants in front of him. Their heads moved without emitting any aura, yet they filled him with fear.

Because combined, these ants could easily bite him to death.

Chen Lan looked at the ant legion with satisfaction. He was confident this ant legion would beco the most terrifying army, so much so that the Celestial Domain and those in the heavens would tremble at their na!

Since they had no na, it was ti to call them the Demon Ant Legion!

"You subdued this legion, that’s quite sothing," the Beast Ancestor exclaid.

"I have you to thank for that," Chen Lan replied with a smile.

Had the Beast Ancestor not brought him here, he would never have known of such unique and powerful creatures.

Boom—

Just as the Beast Ancestor was about to say sothing, a sudden explosion occurred, prompting both to look.

At the edge of this underground world, a hole had suddenly burst open.

This underground world wasn’t very large, at best a small world.

In the past two days, while searching for these ants, Chen Lan and the Beast Ancestor had wondered if there might be other small worlds.

Chirp chirp chirp!

Suddenly, a giant white-furred rat crawled out of the hole, twitching its nose as if sniffing sothing.

Upon seeing this, Chen Lan and the Beast Ancestor were puzzled. Was this a new creature?

For five days, they found nothing but ants, and they assud either the ants had killed off other life forms, or this was exclusively the ants’ small world.

But now, a new creature had appeared.

In the next mont, white-furred rats crawled out one by one, heading towards the ant legion.

Chen Lan and the Beast Ancestor stood in the sky, quietly watching them.

The ants also seed to sense the presence of the white-furred rats, and suddenly beca violently agitated, starting to run chaotically.

"Could it be that these white-furred rats are the natural enemies of these ants?" the Beast Ancestor murmured in confusion.

They had captured ants for five days, and they had never seen them so violent. Now they seed to be on edge, like facing a formidable enemy.

"Let’s observe first; these rats are not simple and show no cultivation aura," Chen Lan comnted lightly, deciding to watch for now.

Suddenly, both were shocked as the rats seed to sll the scent of the ants, their speed becoming incredibly fast, tearing through space, and instantly appearing beside the ants.

"Tearing through space, these white-furred rats actually use space manipulation, how strange," the Beast Ancestor remarked, astonished.

They had no cultivation realm, yet had space manipulation, crossing millions of ters in one step. What kind of creatures were these?

Chen Lan said nothing, watching as one rat found an ant, without hesitation, extending its sharp claws towards the ant.

Its speed was incredibly fast, space shattered, and before the ant could react, it was struck and sent flying.

Upon closer look, there were cracks on the back shell of the ant, faintly showing signs of breaking.

The strength of this rat was so great it could even penetrate the shell of these ants!

"Such powerful strength, the space itself exploded, these rats have notable attack and speed, but what about their defense?" the Beast Ancestor questioned.

Just then, elsewhere, an ant gained the upper hand, biting a rat’s abdon with a fierce tug.

Rip!

The flesh was cruelly torn as blood sprayed, creating a river of blood.

The rat, severely injured, collapsed, and within monts, was sward by ants, devoured until only white bones remained.

As expected, no creature is perfect. The rats had strong power and speed but weak defense. Had their defense been strong as well, they’d be truly invincible.

But this made Chen Lan eager to recruit them; the ants were slow, but strong in power and defense. The two could complent each other.

Ants in the front, rats finishing, a strong and terrifying animal legion!

...

The River of Ti.

"Are you leaving?"

The Elder of Destiny looked at Chen Qingfeng, speaking solemnly.

Chen Qingfeng remained silent, showing a faint smile, "Yes."

"Is it really worth it? I asked then if it was really worth it," the Elder of Destiny frowned, "He might not even know what you’ve done for him."

"It’s nothing much."

"Ha, you think I don’t know? Don’t forget, I can see your destiny," the Elder of Destiny sneered, shaking his head, "Should I call you Chen Qingfeng or Qing Feng?"

With those words, Chen Qingfeng’s body trembled, revealing a bitter smile, "So you know about this too."

"How could such coincidences happen in this world? That monkey incidentally stumbled upon a family nad Chen, and they just happened to na your apprentice Chen Lan. How could such contrived coincidences occur, yet Chen Lan believed it," the Elder of Destiny shook his head in exasperation.

Chen Qingfeng, Qing Feng, that Qing Feng was just Chen Qingfeng’s incarnation. No one knew this, except him.

There are no such coincidences in the world, everything is arranged.

Ye Tianhai designed the assassination of Chen Qingfeng, thinking it would be easy, but if Chen Qingfeng couldn’t intervene again, causing chaos in the world’s order, how could he let his apprentice grow up alone?

"And then there was the Thunder Dao Divine Lotus, he was almost dead, yet you secretly intervened, awakened his mory, and stealthily gave him a strand of Ti Dao Power, allowing him to succeed. Not to ntion other things, but even the recent Fusion Dao Body, you accelerated the process, Liu Ru couldn’t detect the alteration in destiny, but I could see it clearly!"

"He couldn’t have possibly rged so quickly; you sped it up. Not to ntion, even when he disrupted the order of ti, it was you who helped, knowing full well it would attract punishnt from the Ti Dao Ancestor, yet you still assisted him. Isn’t this courting death?"

"I’m curious, did you know from the start that he was the Demon Emperor?"

The Elder of Destiny looked at Chen Qingfeng, puzzled, even he couldn’t discern Chen Lan’s destiny; could it be Chen Qingfeng knew all along?

If so, then everything was indeed worth it, letting the Demon Emperor rge the tri-fold body.

If not, then why did he go to such lengths?

"I don’t know, I’m rely fulfilling a ntor’s duty."

At this, a faint smile crossed Chen Qingfeng’s lips, as if reminiscing.

Seeing this, the Elder of Destiny paused, lanting, "Chen Lan truly found a great ntor. His greatest fortune this lifeti is eting you, but is it truly worth it?"

"He probably doesn’t even know you’re leaving, nor does he know how much you’ve done for him, he might not even co looking for you. Is this really worth it?"

Chen Qingfeng remained silent for a long ti before looking up with a smile.

"In my opinion, it’s worth it!"
