Ken had been roaming around the city hall like a headless chicken for a while.

He couldn't bring himself to get angry at the female and only felt his infatuation for her growing the more.

Despite Sydney's blunt rejection, he didn't mind and it actually motivated him the more to pursue her as she was indeed as his father as proclaid. As a predator and hot blooded male, he felt that pursuit for a female was a feeling compared to hunting. The more the ga resisted, the further his urge to win was motivated. Knowing she was far different from females around who were only drawn to only looks and ranks, he decided to study her more and make his presence known to her that when the ti ca, she wouldn't reject him or even take in other males without considering him.

With that thought in mind, he wasted no ti and shifted into his wolf form before he sprinted off to hunt. He had chosen to hunt from the mountainous area covering the western part of the beast city since it was abundant with healthy and juicy prey. He wanted to carry and take this back for Sydney and if the animal skin was good and he handled it properly, he'd be able to make clothes for her in secret and offer them when she needed them.

As he was still basking in his beautiful thoughts, he was surprised to notice a group of strays roaming around. He understood the dangers of this part of the forest since they couldn't possibly build a wall past a mountain, this terrain had been left open and was considered rather dangerous because of the existence of stray beasts who also used this as hunting grounds

Though not on normal occasions, stray beasts that were usually spotted were killed on spot to prevent them from getting to brazen to enter the city of beasts. He concealed himself as much as possible since despite being a fifth rank beastman, he had a goal for life. He couldn't be reckless and expose himself to these brainless beastn. Though not all of them entirely mad, 99% of the rest were just like a horde of wild beasts that wouldn't hesitate to charge if startled in the least. It was not news that strays snuk into the city of beasts once in a blue moon but with how far they'd go deepened on how much detested their lives.

Ken chose to return to the city of beasts and return with a few of his clansn to deal with these pests but after running for a while and the city of beats was in his line of sight, he noticed what he didn't earlier. He saw a group of three stray beastn sneaking in and blending in with the other normal beastn. This was the first ti they were so deep inside the city. It was alarming!

This side of the city was majorly dominated by single male beastn so there was nothing awkward but Ken knew better. He felt the hairs on his back stand in agitation and he was tempted to sprint over and snap those beastns necks however, when a pair of beautiful green eyes entered his mind, he held back.

If he didn't find the purpose of those stray beastn and acted rashly, he was afraid they might get on high alert and beco extrely sneaky which woild turn extrely troubleso.

Sensing the hostility of a higher ranking beastman, the others looked his way with questions on their faces. Why was such a beastman agitated? Since those who mostly resided around this place were first rank or no rank beastn,no wonder their sense of danger was utterly ashaming. They were no different from the lazy females except Sydney!

He followed them after greatly suppressing not only his emotions but also his aura as a high ranking beastman. The suppression was a little uncomfortable but with his aura suppressed, he was no different from a first tank beastman which would not arouse suspicion.

For a while he followed unrelenting and realised that not only had these pests left Thale outer circle of the beast city, they were heading to the heart of tje beast city! If they were willing to sacrifice it all and co this close, they had a target for sure. Not long, Ken was in a familiar environnt, the beast city hall. His whole body shuddered and his aura he had painfully suppressed threatened to burst. He noticed that one of the beast n had his eyes locked on the city hall and on looking over where the stray had his eyes, he saw that Sydney who was by the window was relaxing and basking in the cool breeze. She looked peaceful and had a faint smile on her face.

The winds were gently blowing her red hair exposing her exquisite features and undeniable beauty. His eyes turned red unable to hold himself back as his aura exploded.

Sydney felt a chill drop down her spine and looked around the area outside attentively. It was normal with beastn going on and about their business but she knew, a sharp and malicious gaze was on her. She had beco a Target.

The beastn who had finally got to see the female who had been the talk of all beastn in the beast city felt that even if they died at the mont, it didn't matter! How could such a beautiful female exist? Was it even possible?! They felt like they had been bewitched and were currently in a hallucination!

It further affird that this female had been sent over by the god of beasts. It was without a doubt! But why did he send her to the city of beastn? Why was everything that was good and beautiful horded over by these n!? What right did the beastn of this city have that the stray beasts didn't?!

They too were exceptionally dazzling and powerful too, putting aside their tempers, they were good guys as well but why didn't the females like them? Did the females have the right to bla them for kidnapping them? What was so wrong about desire?

Every male had their own desires but was it wrong the be selfish? So what if they wanted a female to themselves without sharing her with other? What was so wrong?!!!

This form of unfairness had co to an end!
