Theodore froze in his place looking at Lyra. She looked so much like his Iria, he waited so many years in solitude just to see his daughter before taking his own life. But now that he knew that both his mate and daughter were alive and safe, his rage cald down, the following words ca out of his mouth naturally "My daughter"
Lyra widened her eyes staring back at Theodore. No matter how much she denied it, the man in front of her had the sa facial features as her own. Then she rembered her parents from the modern world, they looked nothing like her. She hated to admit it but sotis even she doubted her possible adoption. But her mind refused to think about that possibility, knowing how much they loved her.
Lyra turned her confused gaze towards Blake "Who is that?"
Blake glanced at Theodore’s eager face and answered "He is your father, Lilly"
Her eyes shook "Are you out of your mind? How can you show so stranger and say that he is my father? My father is the one who took care of for eighteen years, the one who protected from every possible danger, the one who loved more than his life and....." her bloodshot eyes turned towards Theodore "He is in my world, the one where I ca from!"
Blake pulled Lyra towards him, trying to calm her down. The thing that he most feared finally happend, his Lilly was going through so much pain but because of him, she listened to all of his words without making a commotion. He was able to sense that her emotions were going haywire as of now. So he caressed her head and talked "Take your ti Lilly, if not now I can tell everything in detail afterward, but please calm down"
Lyra sobbed in Blake’s chest "I miss them, I miss them so much"
Blake continued to caress her back "I know Lilly, I know"
As she continued to cry, her breathing got labored making it difficult for her to breathe, her mind was clouded with thoughts of her parents, she yelled loudly making everyone stunned "Please send back! I want to see them!"
Blake frowned upon noticing her abnormal behavior, then he pulled to see her tranced face "Lilly!"
Killian widened his eyes and rushed towards them. He pulled Lyra out of Blake’s arm and held her "Her power is unstable, she is summoning the sapphire of a wish!"
Blake staggered in his place "Wh-what do you an by that?"
Killian clenched his jaws trying to keep Lyra’s power in constraint "She is wishing to go back to her world, the gem is opening the portal"
Victor glowered "What can we do now!?"
Killian closed his eyes "Kenna!"
As soon as he said those words, a blazing fire solidified in the air "Yes master"
"Stop the ’sapphire of wish’!"He shouted his command "Block it at all cost"
"As you say master" Kenna replied and went on to complete its task.
Then Killian held Lyra’s face and stared into her eyes "Don’t lose yourself treasure, Please don’t leave "
He took her hand and pressed it against his chest "Can you feel this? Every heartbeat of mine is relying on you, I’m your soulmate, your place belongs here in this beast world with , do you understand love?" then he used his power to put her to sleep "Rest well love, hmm?"
Lyra’s eyes beca drowsy hearing his words. And soon she drifted off to dreamland. Killian kissed her forehead and picked her up from the ground "Let us talk about this tomorrow, she needs to rest"
"Hmm" Blake replied and turned towards Theodore who was stunned in his place "Make sure to rest today, I think it is better to discuss this another day"
Theodore nodded his head blankly and entered one of the rooms on the ground floor.
Killian took Lyra to her room and laid her on the bed. He laid beside her and pulled her towards his chest clutching her in his embrace. His body quivered just by the possibility of her leaving him, he looked at her beautiful face which was so calm in her sleep. She looked like a mythical creature that descended into this world to make his dark life bright, as serene as she looked, he knew how severe she was to his existence, he was just a body and she was his soul, the life in him. He didn’t even understand how he passed so many years without her, but even then, he spent it waiting for her.
This life of his was not so normal female, she had the protection of gem, which was yearned by the whole beast world. And that damn thing almost split them apart, ’what if he was not present here?’ Then the portal would have appeared, Till now, Kenna was trying to block the gem from reaching Lyra. Killian narrowed his eyes and whispered nacingly "I’ll never let you get away from , you are mine. I don’t care about your parents or whatever, I Killian, the lord of the north will never allow you to leave , my treasure, my everything, my mate" his obsessive words didn’t reach Lyra’s ears because of her sleep.
anwhile, in the living room, Blake and Victor sat on the stone chair facing each other. Victor covered his face and sighed "She almost went back today"
"My Lilly was going to leave " Blake muttered in a bitter tone, "Was it that much of a shock for her to learn the truth?"
"She is not ready to accept the truth," Victor remarked
Blake nodded his head and glanced around "Where is Demir by the way?"
"I heard that he went to et his father to talk sothing about his clan’s matter" Victor replied.
"What about you? I have never seen you visit your tribe’s n. Did you forget that you are a Vulture king now?" Blake asked curiously
Victor sulked and bent his bent "I’m ashad to face them"
Blake chuckled "Why?"
Victor glanced at him and started speaking "When I visited them last ti, I bragged about Lyra being my mate and promised to introduce her as the queen of the Vulture tribe"
"So?"
"Do you not understand snake? I cannot take her there until I mate with her" Victor said with an exaggerated expression.
Blake blinked his eyes "Then forget about it"
Victor glared at him hearing his words "What did you say?"
"Nothing," he said and got up from his seat, then entered his room.
"You!" Victor yelled "Just you wait snake, I will undoubtedly beco her mate"
