Victor grinned at them and leisurely walked toward them. He firstly glanced at Kyrell and his smile beca strained. He still rembered this eagle beastman trapping him in that forest. Then he looked at the unfamiliar face and frowned realizing that the stranger is a rootless beastman.
"What are you two doing here?" He asked sternly. Victor knew that Killian always made sure to put on a barrier around the castle to keep intruders away. Even they felt uncomfortable a few tis while trying to cross the barrier. But after sensing the familiarity, Kenna allowed them inside. But what about these two?
He knew that Kyrell was soone powerful and him deflecting the barrier sowhat made sense but he couldn’t understand how a rootless beastman got inside.
As Victor assessed Kaizer, Kaizer too started to observe him. An immortal beastman. Kaizer was able to discern that the stranger is a higher-level beastman with a single glance but even this beastman was not as handso as him.
Kaizer started having this delusion when Lyra said that his eyes are pretty. If not for falling on the ground that day, he would have had the courage to face her with the pretty eyes that she liked.
Victor didn’t want to cause an unnecessary commotion by forcing them out of here but those two looked like they had no intention of going out. He understood about Kyrell but for heck’s sake, he didn’t understand why a rootless beastman was here.
"I’ll leave" Kaizer suddenly said surprising the other two. He felt sad for not seeing her but he realized that leaving now was the best rather than causing a commotion. Kaizer was positive that he would once again embarrass himself in front of her if he stayed here any longer.
He turned into his beast form and sprinted out of the garden.
Victor turned toward Kyrell and asked, "What about you?"
Kyrell felt conflicted. He didn’t see Lyra for so many days and now he had to leave without seeing her. Then he glanced at the vulture beastman in front of him with envious eyes. He rembered the first day he sneaked inside the castle. If not for this annoying fellow, Kyrell would have been able to live here by Lyra’s side.
He suddenly beca sullen and said, "I’m leaving too" Kyrell decided to sneak inside once again when no one was around. Then he shifted into his beast form and flew to the sky.
Victor tilted his head feeling speechless. Contrary to his expectation, those two left very peacefully that he couldn’t believe it. He knew that they were here to see his sweet girl and that made him annoyed but surprisingly he didn’t feel jealous of those two.
At so point, they reminded him of his older self. He lived as the king of stray beasts after killing his father even when he was a normal beastman. Victor then had no motivation to do anything or purpose to live until he t his sweet girl. He was sotis surprised by his own actions and change of behavior after eting her. Now...those two seed the sa as him. They are powerful and vicious and liked the sa female as him.
Victor could almost guess that they would have attacked him by now for being their love rival if not for Lyra’s sake. They were scared about receiving her hatred and that made them suppress their instincts and also killing intent.
He was not that surprised by Kyrell but he was not able to understand how that rootless beastman was also able to do that. First of all, every rootless beastn he had t was incapable of feeling emotions and basically, there were not sane enough to even think anything positive other than killing. He also was able to sense the kind of odd ambiance around the stranger....darkness.
Victor made a ntal note to inform Darcio about this as soon as possible.

(Lion tribe)
"We will never allow him to set foot in this city!" The lion king’s booming voice resounded inside the room. Right now, the elders from the fox tribe, Lion King, Silver wolf king, Noah, and Lucas were seated in one of the gathering rooms inside the lion tribe.
Noah held his father’s shoulder to calm him. He was afraid that his father might hit the fox tribe’s elders’ in rage. Attacking one’s tribe’s elders might cause a backlash to the lion tribe, so Noah didn’t want that to happen. The elders are basically the officials who served the previous kings or the witch masters who beca sages after their power outbreak.
Darcio was also one of the elders from the scorpion tribe, but he opted to stay out of the tribe’s political matters. Noah still didn’t know the exact reason why Darcio chose Demir as his master but he might find it out soday.
Coming back, the elders of the fox tribe were gathered here to inform them about Xavier’s return to the beast city.
They said that Xavier will be the next king of the fox tribe and their tribe would hold a banquet to welco him.
Noah could understand their point. The fox tribe was currently mourning the death of their late king. Their warriors must have already felt the impedint of losing their king and appointing a new king now was very necessary.
But.....Xavier was banished from the city and breaking that punishnt might encourage others to commit the sa cri. They might assu that they will be forgiven one day and do sothing more atrocious.
Noah had t Xavier in past. Yes, Xavier was cold and ruthless but that was to his enemies. When Xavier killed that female, Noah was surprised.
Xavier was normally calm or nonchalant so Noah could guess that the female must have done sothing terrible for him to lose his patience and kill her.
"Then just get out of the beast city!" Lucas’ father’s voice brought him out of his thoughts.
Now it was Lucas’ turn to hold his father back from charging at the elders.
"Father..." Lucas looked at the wolf King in dismay, "This topic will never find an end if you keep on losing your calm.
The silver wolf king sighed and glared at the fox tribe’s elders, "He cannot enter the city and that is final"
One of the elders furrowed his brows, "Our tribe is in a dire situation now your majesty. Only our prince is competent enough to take the throne because we have no other powerful beast-n who crossed the five mark in our tribe. You should understand our dilemma, we cannot put a random beastman in that seat and put our entire tribe into jeopardy"
Another elder too looked at them firmly but he had a desperate look in his eyes, "We are ready to face anything for our prince’s return. Na the compensation and we will fulfill it"
Lion King felt skeptical. He was not the one to break the beast city’s rule but this situation called for it, "Fine" he said and the elders sighed in relief, "But there is a condition
that your prince has to pass after coming into the city"
"What is it?" The first elder asked. Bringing their prince was the most important thing right now. He just hoped that prince Xavier would agree to the condition.
The lion king glanced at the wolf king and parted his lips after receiving a nod from the latter, "Prince Xavier has to beco mates with the female we choose"
