Chapter 1568: Just Like How Zhuangzi Dread Of A Butterfly, You Are A Blessing And A Misfortune
Gu ngng’s tears were still stained on her face as she widened her eyes in anticipation at Snakel.
Snakel smiled and pulled her back into his embrace. He said, sighing, “I walked around the mortal world and suffered all those trouble for you....Twong, you have to rember that you’re the only one who can ride on my neck so don’t be a coward and don’t cry. Just await my return....”
Gu ngng did not know what Snakel was planning to do. She just felt her heart being tugged at rcilessly. She grabbed tightly onto Snakel’s clothes out of instincts and without knowing what she was showing her displeasure at, she shook her head profusely.
Snakel smiled, kissing her lips.
This was his first ti genuinely kissing her, kissing Gu ngng’s true presence.
He hugged her with all his might and wanted to rub her into his chest so badly.
He said, “Just like how Zhuangzi dread of a butterfly, you are a blessing and a misfortune....Twong, do you know? The mont I saw you, I heard seven words from the Beast Deity – there is no escape from your doom.”
Gu ngng felt Snakel slowly vanishing, just like colorful bubbles dancing in the sumr wind, being blown away little by little. She could neither catch up nor could she grab or touch him...
“Ah Kel....Ah Kel......don’t......no no—ah—”
Gu ngng tried to grab onto Snakel with all her might but he eventually disappeared.
Before he completely vanished, he maintained his smile at Gu ngng and left one last sentence behind, “I waited for you twice in the previous and present life. This ti round....it’s your turn. Wait for my return and don’t abandon again.....Twong, I love you.....”
“Ah—! Ah Kel!” Gu ngng hollered at the top of her voice but did not manage to call Snakel back.
Once again, Snakel vanished for her...
Following Snakel’s disappearance, the gigantic door closed slowly and soon, screech—bang!
Gu ngng stared at the closed doors of ti and space and continued lying on the ground, not able to get herself together. With her mouth wide open, she sobbed sorrowfully and tragically but not a sound could be heard.
A few human figures surfaced after the doors disappeared, just like how they were originally standing behind the doors but were just blocked from sight.
“Xin, I’m back.” The biggest figure walked past Gu ngng and stood before Wang Xiaoxin, hugging her in his arms.
Wang Xiaoxin’s eyes turned red instantly as she hugged the person back tightly. Her emotions that remained calm for a thousand years were in an upsurge. Her eyes were dropping tears but her lips were curved in a smile. After trying to catch her breath for a while, she cried, “I hate you to death, why did you make wait for such a long ti?”
“I’m sorry, I took too long to return.” That person hugged Wang Xiaoxin and kissed the top of her head. After hugging each other for a long ti, the male sighed and said, “Let’s settle this little trouble first, you’ll lose your breath if you keep crying.”
“Yeah.” Wang Xiaoxin nodded, lancholy filling her eyes. She asked, dispirited, “Did I do it....wrongly?”
The male answered, “In my eyes, everything you do is correct.”
Wang Xiaoxin chuckled, huddling in the male’s arms, comnting, “Wales, you’ve changed. You’re not so glib-tongued a thousand years ago.”
Wales did not deny as he carried Wang Xiaoxin and walked to Gu ngng. Then, he kicked Gu ngng and said, “Hey, Gu Twong, when are you going to stop crying? My son risked his life to close the doors of ti and space for you, are you not going to make a wish and call your two trash back?”
Gu ngng was still choking with tears on the ground. After hearing a familiar voice, she turned around but could not recognize the person before her.
