Chapter 1484: Gregory, I Am Back To Fetch You.
Gu ngng walked in circles, then said, “Lea and you should leave Motou Mountains first, I am going back to look for Gregory and little shit. Believe , I know my life is important to both of you, so I will definitely not let myself be in danger. Once I realise that the situation is beyond my control, I will definitely leave.”
Elvis and Lea exchanged glances and clenched their teeth. Eventually, they gave in and said, “Let us follow you.”
Gu ngng shook her head and said, “You have also ntioned that both of you cannot go up the peak of Motou Mountains where Gregory is at. Once the wind starts blowing, you will be unable to fight and won’t be able to help , instead I still have to take care of you guys. Listen to , leave first and wait for , don’t make distracted.”
After she said that, she turned and flew towards the highest peak on Motou Mountains.
It was easy to recognise. Among all the mountains, it was the highest and shaped like a snake.
It was uncertain whether it was because Gregory flying her that day that taught her to fly. Her first flight was tiring but not difficult. Even though she did not control her balance well,but at least she did not fall.
It was as though flying was her natural ability and this was all because of the wings rather than her.
It was also uncertain how long Elvis and Lea had run for but Gu ngng spent around 20 minutes to reach the peak of Motou Mountains.
And when she saw Gregory , she was completely stunned.
Tears rolled down her face uncontrollably as her heart felt crushing pain. She did not even feel her nose stinging when tears flowed down, accompanied by her heart pain.
“Gregory...”
It was a simple word and it made the person back facing her freeze.
He did not turn back and opened his mouth to speak with much difficulty, “We had agreed that once you obtain Love of the Sky, you would leave and never turn back... Why did you return?”
“You are my male partner, how could I abandon you and leave?!” Gu ngng responded Gregory with a crying voice. She walked step by step towards that back that was covered in injuries. There were really many wounds on his back and it was uncountable. His entire back was bleeding so much as though it was never going to stop.
And what made her most shocked was the two hideous wound on his shoulder blade.
His wings... were gone.
That should originally have been a pair of strong wings that was alike to an angel’s wings, but now, all left is a wound that is badly mutilated.
She did not dare to ask where his wings had gone. She could only suppress her sadness and said, “Gregory, I am back to fetch you... leave with , alright?”
“Baby ng, don’t co here.” Gregory never turned his back and only back faced her. The pride as a male allowed him to endure all the pain and not shed a tear but her appearance easily caused his psychological defense chanism to crumble, all his determination was shattered to dust because of her phrase ‘I am back to fetch you’.
He gritted his teeth to stop himself from crying and with a self-mocking tone, he laughed bitterly and said, “Sorry, I can never hug and hum to you, move elegantly or accompany you to draw, watch the sunrise, and fly in the sky to look down at Motou. Since you can co up, it shows that Love of the Sky has been integrated smoothly in you. Congratulations, you can fly now. Unfortunately, my dream of flying alongside you is unlikely to co true. But don’t worry, Baby ng, I can help you guard this place in exchange for your safe departure. Don’t let my sacrifice beco wasted, quicky leave, alright?”
